Looking for Compatible Cooler for my MSI A88XI AC V2

Does anyone know of a cooler that will fit on this motherboard that would give me some more room for overclocking?  My current setup can be found here https://pcpartpicker.com/b/2nTBD3.  The problem seems to be that MSI thought it would be a good idea to place the processor really close to the PCIe and RAM slots so there is very little space available for coolers.

Thanks for helping out,

Lazz89

Your best bet is probably an AIO like the Liqmax II 120: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/GGGj4D/enermax-cpu-cooler-elclmr120sbs

Thanks for responding but I was hoping to stay away from water cooling.  From benchmarks that I've seen of other single fan rads, they are not good for overclocking.   I don't know much about that AIO.  How well does it perform with overclocking?

What kind of oc did you have in mind? The 7860k isn't exactly a stellar performer and I don't think pushing for a more expensive cooler would be a good value. The Liqmax II performs similarly to other 120mm AIO's and should be enough to push most of the performance your chip is capable of.

There are cheaper air coolers that present an even better value such as the PR Slim but it doesn't allow as much room for oc'ing: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/hyQRsY/be-quiet-pure-rock-slim-351-cfm-cpu-cooler-bk008

Larger air coolers would likely interfere with the pcie slot. Even the offset NH-D15S wouldn't be compatible: http://noctua.at/en/nh-d15s.html#socket_29_manuf_33
