i3 7100 on Asrock h110m-dgs

Can i put this cpu on this motherboard i know its the same socket but some i have seen that some motherboards need bios update to even boot and i dont have a skylake cpu to do that so pls some help

Most(if not all) last gen motherboards will need a bios update to run a kaby lake cpu.

Yes, you'll need a bios update and you're good to go.

have the same issue... so to clarify I dont need a skylake cpu to update the bios...Right? I can just put the i3 7100 straight in mobo and do instant flash from usb?
