New pc build! Need help!

Hello everyone! I'm doing another build and i need help!

 

Budget: 1400$ (CAD)

 

Cpu: Tell me

Gpu: GTX 1080 (tell me wich one to buy)

Power supply: Thermaltake 850 gold (i already have it)

Case: Tell me

Motherboard: Tell me

Are you going to be overclocking or no because it will help me determine the CPU to put into the partlist

Here ya go that budget with the 1080 is as tight as a snake but I think I got it and also I have used the White NZXT source 210 Elite case before it's a great case

Spending well over half of the budget on the gpu means you are having to sacrifice in other areas. I would go with a GTX 1070 and get a better cpu, case, motherboard etc.

 

What monitor do you have by the way ?

Also if you want a inexpensive but very good CPU cooler I don't know where you can find this in cannada but I used it in my Arctic Wolf build and it keeps the 95 watt AMD chip I have in that build nice and cool: http://www.microcenter.com/product/442926/Titan_Universal_CPU_Cooler

Even Though it may be over by $100 dollars, The Total system wattage is a lot lower than the psu you want to use (unless if you already have the psu than you can easily hit $1400)

And this is probably the most proportionate PC list I could make due to price.

Actually, i will transfer the 980ti i have in my signature to that pc and take the 1080 to the signature pc (i know it's weird)
