audio cable being flakey

So I have a Teah LS-H265 being powered by a muse m50.
Seems like every 2 weeks one of the speakers (not always same one) volume cuts in half while the other one is at normal volume.

I am assume its the speaker cable (http://amzn.com/B006LW0W5) because when I re cut an inch off it, it works fine for another week.

I assume its this, so recommendation on better cable or other ideas?
