Work laptop in the 800-1000 range

Hi guys, I'm looking for a work laptop.. I has to have a good i5 or i7, 8GB ram, SSD and a good screen (15"). A discrete video card is not necessary... A good battery would be appreciated.

Any recommendations?

a barebones mac book air 13' is a good option if you are willing to sacrifice some screen realestate but besides that a 15' with those specs will be closer to $1500

Windows.. I found a dell inspiron 7000 with an i5 6300, gtx 960, 4k display for 999.

Hey, 

I found this HP Pavilion on Amazon for $640USD(Normally $1,399USD).  It doesn't have an SSD, but I have yet to find a laptop with all the specs you want. Unless you're willing to boot camp a MacBook Pro, but for significantly more, at $1,299USD.  Although another route is to buy a sdd that works with the HP Pavillion and install it. Guide Here. 

Please let me know what ends up happening!
