"Lost" My wireless mouse USB

So at my school, pretty much what happens is, people like to take peoples USB's, mouses, and chargers out of their laptops when they're not looking. Unfortunately, I am a victim in this and got my "Logitch M280's" USB receiver lost. So I definitely don't want to buy another mouse, that would be annoying and would piss my Mum off because I'm still looking for a job. So can I buy a receiver or a 3rd party one somewhere that'll solve this issue?

M280 is not Bluetooth. It uses Logitech propriety wireless adapter.
