MSI mPower LED Temperature Worries

So I've recently aquired my new MSI Mpower z77 mobo, and I've stuck a 3570k in. Well in the manual, it says that once you're in the OS, the debug LED turns into a cpu temp reader, which is awesome, as my Switch 810 has a big window where I can glance whenever I want to at my cpu temps while gaming.

My question is, how accurate is the temperature LED? I ask this because I downloaded Speccy64 to read my cpu temps, and it says I'm ten degrees hotter than the board does. Should I trust the board? or the program? Is the program still even up to date?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Alright, thanks man!

Edit: Speccy was totally wrong, and now I have just one piece of software to monitor all the temperatures, awesome!
