asus p8z77-v lk questions

so i just got this motherboard today after i bricked my MSI, i noticed it seems smaller even though it claims to be ATX, is that normal? this is a z77 board and the MSI was not.
i have 4 stick of ram in it, 2x8 and 2x2, theres a light above the 24pin power that is to the left and lower of a "GPU boost" switch and to the top left of the "Mem OK dram_LED" and the light is red, i have no clue what this means. the computer is on and works fine, the on the very bottem of them board theres a "EPU" switch with a red light, whats that?

Some ATX boards aren't as wide as others.

The light by the 24pin simply indicates the board is working, the MemOK light just means that your RAM is working properly
