I LOVE THIS MONITOR!

This is a 21:9 Monitor (wider than a 16:9). It has an IPS Panel and a mate screen. It's default resolution is 2560x1080. It is BEAUTIFUL!

 

It is $150 USD cheaper than the other ultra widescreen options (It's still expensive- $500 USD)

 

This replaces my NVIDIA Surround setup and it is a beast. You get  peripheral vision in game and no bezels!! I had 4 20" monitors (3 in surround and 1 to show system usage) and it was really overwhelming. Using this monitor and an Acer H236HL is a beautiful replacement for my last setup. I get the screen real estate I need and I'm no longer overwhelmed my all the monitors.

 

The 21: 9 is also great for theatrical widescreen movies. I can fullscreen a theatrical widescreen movie and have NO BLACK BARS ON ANY SIDE!

 

If there's one thing to complain about it that if you bump the screen it wiggles more than expected.

 

In conclusion, If you want to consolidate your Surround setup and you enjoy theatrical widescreen movies, I say this monitor is for you!
