Planning gaming rig build

Will Ryzen 5 3600 when paired with RTX 2080 Ti kind of graphics card. Saw some videos on YouTube on this topic and noticed, R5 3600 when paired with RTX 2080 Ti, R5 3600 in games benchmark does not go above 65% of usage. So is this combination is fine just for high graphics gaming. Which GPU of RTX 30 series be paired with R5 3600 so it doesn't bottleneck?

I saw this video (s) on YouTube

You want to be GPU-bound in games. If your 3600 is not going above 65% usage then you are bound by the performance of the GPU.

At lower resolutions, you will have a higher chance of being bottlenecked by the CPU (will depend on the game and settings). At 1440p, it is uncommon for a 3600 to bottleneck a 2080 Ti. At 4K, I have never seen a 3600 bottleneck the GPU.

Do you mean it will bottleneck at 1080p

Depends on the game. Games that push higher graphical fidelity will likely not be bottlenecked by the 3600. A game like CS:GO, however, will be bottlenecked by the CPU since it is so easy to render.

Even at 1080p, I don't think the 2080ti is a bad purchase. The 3080 will be more bottlenecked by the 3600 to the point that there is almost no difference in performance on average between it and the 2080ti. That said, the 3080 is far more future proof and I imagine it will show its superiority more and more as time goes on.
