ryzen Overclock not showing in Ryzen Master or any other monitoring software.

So I just OC'd my Ryzen 5 1600 to about 3.8Ghz.

The BIOS shows that the CPU is running at 3.8Ghz but when I open Ryzen Master or any other monitoring software like CPU ID , HW Monitor etc. It only shows 3.4ghz even at full load.

 

MOBO: MSI B350 Tomahawk

 

P.S: Also my RAM which is 3200MHZ runs stable only at 3000MHZ with this overclock.

How are the temperatures?

And what is the multiplier in the BIOS?

Idle Temps are 30-31c ish, Under full load about 65c

Multiplier: 1.2875

I asked about the CPU clock speed multiplier,not the Voltage.

oops, sorry I just checked it. It keeps changing from x24 to x37 every second.

It's because the adjusted CPU frequency is 3200MHz - which is 3.2GHz.

The multiplier is strange though.

On second though i think you should reset the CMOS and try again,the CPU ratio must match the frequency.

3.2GHz = 32

3.8GHz = 38

So, should I pull out the CMOS battery to do this? Or can I reset the whole oc and start again?

Just pull the battery,something seems off there and resetting the CMOS may fix it.
