Using DVI cable and my ASUS monitors say "HDMI no signal", then turns off

Hojp

So I have two ASUS VS248HR 24 inch Gaming Monitors, both of them have the same issue. I used to be able to use them perfectly with one using an HDMI and the other a DVI cable. Now they both dont work with DVI and only work with HDMI. Whenever I plug in the DVI cable it says "HDMI no signal" and then doesn't let me press the menu button to switch the output as it just turns off.

Any suggestions?

Press the menu button to switch inputs while it's powering on? Or while it's displaying the "HDMI no signal" message? Or it's possible that your source / input selection button is broken, in which case you'll want to contact ASUS if you have warranty remaining on the monitors.
