Can't open with Java

So I'm trying to set up a Minecraft server and that's great and all. But I've had this problem before too. no matter how many time i try a cant open a .jar file with java (64 bit win 10) I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing works

https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp download the 64bit version boom problem solved

 

(btw i run a mc server thats why i know)

[Laptop] Dell G3, i7-8750H (Turbo 4.2 Ghz), Gtx 1050 ti , 8gb 2669 mhz, 128gb nvme ssd, 1tb HDD

 

[Server] I3 2125, GT 1030,  16gb miss-match DDR3, Dell PSU/Case, 250 gb Samsung SSD

 

[School Laptop] Late 2009 MacBook Pro, 2.26Ghz Core 2 Duo, 8gb DDR3, 500 gb HDD, +some space invaders decals

 

[Consoles] Pretty much almost every popular one you can think of besides for like Xbox and some Sega Stuff( Playstation especially)

 

[Mobile Devices] iPhone 6 16gb, iPad Air 2 128gb, {Both Space Grey} Ipod Shuffle Space Grey

are you sure 32 bit would work with a 64 bit OS

yes , but you just wont be able to allocate more then 1gb ram to server

i more ment jsut to test to see if it works
