Do HDMI 2.0 Matrixes exist ?

Short answer : Yes !

Long answer : Technically, yes, but the only one I've found costs 800€+.

i've been researching into this matter on and off since August 2018, likely around a week of pure time, but I've come up short.

 

What I'm looking for is a single device that has at least 4 HDMI 2.0 inputs, 2 HDMI 2.0 Outputs, and an optical audio output. At a reasonable price, that is.

No matter what, I'm always finding myself compromising on at least one of these criteria.

The above example is expensive, and does not include an optical audio output.

This product checks off all the boxes ... Except HDMI 2.0.

 

However, and I will be verifying this once I get this month's paycheck, I've finally found a setup that only compromises a single, minor criteria : It's TWO devices instead of one.

I believe the feature you're looking for is multi-zone HDMI output. This can be found on some HDMI receivers such as Denon's AVRX3400

I came across this device, too !

However, for my needs, I largely prefer simply sompromsiing on the "one device" part. It's simpler and way more cost effective.
