Advice needed for lighting connections

Hello.  I hope this is the right section for this.

 

im having a problem figuring out how to hook up the lighting in my case.  Here is what I currently have:

 

6 EK vardar RGB fans and 2 silver stone LED strips with the one LSB01 control box, and an aorus gaming 7 MB.

 

i didn’t realize the control box used custom connections and not the standard RGB connections like those found on the RGB fans.  I can’t plug the fans directly into the control box.

 

all are 12v and match what my MB headers provide power wise.  Problem is, now since I have to change my configuration plan all I can come up with to do is connect the fans to a splitter and have them go to the headers and not the control box.  I’ve read splitters are a bad idea though.  

 

Knowing the motherboard i have and the type of fans, is it okay to plug three fans via a splitter into one header without overloading it? Each fan has 9 LEDs.  If I add an LED strip, that’s another 18 LEDs.

 

any ideas?
