I have a question, I have a PC with an i5 7500 and 8gb RAM. If I install Windows 11, even if it is not compatible, will I still receive updates?

I recently encountered that stop code after tried to install Windows Sandbox on Win 10 and now I'm stuck in restart error looping. Tried using common solutions like using sfc or dism but it haven't worked in cmd via advanced start up option, starting in safe mode but still cause same bsod. I have a lot of stuff stored in computer so reinstall Windows is only the last resort. I'm not sure reset Windows and keep files and apps can delete Window Sandbox or not so haven't tried yet.

Am also facing the same problem on my ASUS E403S. I have even converted it to mbr but still it can't continue from the partition stage. I need support because am on my project work and this device is given headche.

Ive been having a issue where windows soft crashes so that videos and discord still work and continue playing but i cant move or change anything and the task bar freezes. If i attempt to change anything it freezes meaning restarting file explorer in task manager to fix the issue dosnt work. Ive sfc scanned, run backups, reinstall all drivers including using DDU in safe mode, reinstalled or uninstalled programs. The only thing i havent done is install windows again. As this is the most effort im asking here for advice before i do that.

It show up in window but when I try to install window with a bootable usb it dose not show up the computer a pre built and the m.2 came with window pre installed on it but I try Linux on it wipe the drive but now I want to go back to window but it not show up I even try command line to try to format it in the set up wizard but it not show up there it a Hp pavilion x360 3 in 1 I can install Linux again on it just not windows

So I got this usb flash drive that I installed window media creation tool on to boot up my pc for the first time, but recently, my laptop got some problem and I want to reinstall window on it, so I need to install the window 10 Disc image on a usb flash drive, but I'm not sure if I can do it on the one I'm currently using, or I need a different one. so as the title have mentioned i got problems with my graphic driver and it all started with this https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-files/videodxgkrnl-error/7a92a49d-2532-436b-a9ee-25a8828e5ea5. and i went through all that steps without it getting it fix and messing it up even more, it started to blue screen more and no games could be play if using the GPU. i also tried reseting which did nothing. so pls help me!!!

Hi All I'm new here so wasn't really sure where to ask this. How do I install windows if I have a physical copy but I didn't put an optical drive in my new PC? I do have a laptop with an optical drive. Thanks Richard

64-bit, OS build 18363.1139 Intel i7-9700k 3 GHz RAM 16GB GTX 1660 AsusTeK PRIME H310M-E R2.0 CT1000P1SSD8 (Drive C, The drive where the windows update is linked to) All errors that I have received are either an Error 0x80070003 or an Error 0xc1900107 My old computer crashed so I had a new one built this January this year. Back then version 1909 was the latest Windows version. In other words, it has not "majorly" updated since the PC was built. In the previous months, the PC did respond to updates and have successfully installed them, but not major ones like 2004 or 20H2. My previous SSD (Drive D) which was responsible for storing the Windows updates in my previous computer is still functioning in my new desktop. However, I checked Windows>SoftwareDistribution>Downloads in Drive D and do not find content which is related to the 20H2 content (all folders and files were dated back to January). So I don't think Drive D is interfering with Drive C but I am still mentioning this in case a fellow expert may correct me on this. Regardless, here are the things I have already performed: —Restarted Computer —Ran troubleshooter (it detected problems) and restarted after that —Temporarily Disabled Antivirus —Media Creation Tool (precommit.cmd error) —Windows Update Agent, Reset Windows components, and then used Media Creation Tool (same error) —Update Assistant (Error 0x80070003) —Command Prompt, ran as administrator, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, and sfc/ scannow (There were no files that lost their integrity) —Command Prompt, ran as administrator, net stop wuauserv, C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution, deleted all files within the Download folder, and then went back to prompt and net start wuauserv —Command Prompt, ran as administrator, chkdsk/f C:, and restarted computer —Win+R, services.msc, manually stopped Windows Update, C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution, deleted all files within the Download folder, and restarted Windows Update manually —Viewing the event logs only show error 10016

I have a USB webcam(Logitech C270) that also has a built-in mic. The webcam and the mic works fine when I use it on my laptop, but not on my pc. What's weird is that while I can record video and audio using Window 10 camera app, the mic doesn't work on other apps such as discord. Additionally, my pc recognized that the device is plugged in and I can select it as an option for my audio input. Does anyone know how to fix this? I also have a B450 Tomahawk Max MOBO if that matter.

Hi, I have recently built a Gaming PC, the specs are as follows: Ryzen 7 2700x Hyper x 8gb X2 ddr 4 ram rgb Arous x470 gigabyte gaming ultra motherboard Corsair ax850w gold standard psu Cooler master mb 500 case Rtx 2070 super graphic card 2 cooler master airflow fans. With this configuration, I gamed great for a while with the AAA titles like Halo MCC, Doom etc, but my PC used to shut off with the LED still on and yet I had turn off the power supply and turn it back on and restart the system. This happened for a while. Now when ever I game or even start up my system I get the BSOD error, Critical process failed. Much needed help would be appreciated in this quarentine lockdown.

I keep updating all my software and application from the device I use and every time I play a game my window 7 just reboot. My guess is window 7 fault on not being supported by the newer game. The warning from event viewer is (The driver \Driver\EtronXHCI failed to load for the device PCI\VEN_1B6F&DEV_7052&SUBSYS_70521849&REV_00\4&11e7f7e8&0&0048.) I try both versions of window 7 key the legit one and the crack version to test out if it another program fault. So I want to ask should I change my Window to window 10? Also what the best place to buy window 10? (I don't want to spend a lot on a window 10 key) I want to hear you guys on where should I purchase it. I am a bit skeptical when a window 10 key is sold for $15. (Electronic First) This is why I ask where I can buy it.

I have asus e403s laptop with 2gb ram and 28gb hdd. I am using a USB to install Windows. I had to change few things in bios to see USB to boot. But now when iam trying to install . When I select the drive 0 partition 1 and next click I get error "windows can't be installed to this disk. This computer hardware may not support booting into this hardware. Ensure that disk controller is enabled in the computer bios menu " Help me as the laptop right now have no os and I can't install win 10 on it.

I know that there is a way to upgrade a motherboard, procceser, and ram without a complete wipe of the system, and I have been finding conflicting answers online, and I will be upgrading my pc soon, and really don't want to have to wipe it. So, what is the most efficient method to upgrade my cpu, motherboard, and ram without a reinstall of windows? Thank you!

Hello I have been using windows 10 for a long time and I have got some problems over my time of use The first one is that I cant open my start bottom or left click it. my second is that I cant open my settings thought about trying to factory reset it so it is like new. Those 2 problems were just now, A day ago or yesterday I had a problem that I was getting the blue scream of death saying "IQRL IS NOT EQUAL OR LESS and MEMORY MANAGEMENT" there were more things like this but it stopped after one crash NOTE my pc crash into a blue scream almost 50 times no joke . plz help the I upgrade my gt210 to gtx960 3 days ago {if it helps anyone} TY for reading and if you know plz help me been breaking my head. so I got a new laptop after graduation and now I can't access my network drives on the new laptop, but I can do it fine on my other laptop, i don't know what it do now

I always keep my Laptop updated whether it's HP's, Intel, or Microsoft Windows 10. I updated Windows 10 & this is the longest its ever taken, I don't know how many hours maybe 6 or more. But it was updating a bunch of stuff old and new shutting down and reloading constantly. After the update I did a HP update and it worked fine. When I went into Intel® Driver & Support Assistant it couldn't scan my system and said the following "Oops, something went wrong while trying to scan. Please try again, or see our FAQs for help". At the very top Intel had a message "Intel will be supplying Windows DCH Drivers for its products beginning in November. These drivers will be used for Windows® 10 and Windows* Server 2019 and will replace the existing drivers. Ok so this is 100% my fault trying to do a hackintosh ok so I made a partition on my ssd for Mac OS and it’s works but now I can’t boot into windows at all even if I deleted the Mac OS partition on my laptop (Hp elitebook 8460w) so now it’s saying no boot drive or no OS is on this drive even if I try to do a fresh install of window which I’m ok to do I can’t boot into a usb

Does anyone know what or how to deal with the C drive and CPU when I do anything like just watching youtube, playing a game or anything else? It loading something but what does my C drive and CPU and there is an occasion where it just a Black screen of death where the video card gets turned off. the CPU even is new that I just bought this black Friday of 2018. Ok so i just found this out, when i connected my seagate drive to my laptop it didn't show up on file explorer but it showed up on disk management. so i right click the drive and click open and it lead to my network drive of that drive (i use it when i want to watch videos on amazon fire-tv stick and also i have it mapped on my laptop on the network) and it wasn't connected to the WiFi router at all so i disconnected from it and restarted my laptop and it fix the bug

i have a pci 2.4g WiFi adapter (TP-LINK 300Mbps Wireless N Adapter) with latest installed drivers the hotspot works fine with no issues but 5 min after i close my settings the hotspot turns off even though there is a network load on the hotspot. regedit only prolongs it to 120min and upon searching on internet this problem seems to be widely persistent with no solutions. turning off power management for the adapter doesn't seem to help nor the high performance mode. motherboard: asus b150m with latest bios running latest windows 10 rolling back doesn't help either the manufacturer(Qualcomm) officially supports softAP though tp-link doesn't specify it.

Why window 10 take time (same time as copy) to move files from c drive to d drive same time(both partition are one hard risk)
