Budget (including currency): $50 Country: US (Ca) Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: racing games (PC) Hello! I couldnt really find a better thread for this but im looking to buy a cheap sim racing wheel and petals with $50 or less (preferably less) I know new a decent g29 is like $250 but I have a super tight budgdet. I dont need real force feedback and obviously i am looking at the used market bc new wheels at this price are worse than keyboard and mouse. anyway I know controller is a decent option (and i already have a couple) but I want a wheel. anyway i cant really say more but ig the optimal price is around $35 but thats probably unrealistic. Oh yea one more thing i dont need a shifter im good with paddles i just want pedals and a working wheel

I'm coming to LTX with several PEVs. Anyone want to do a group ride around Vancouver? We can do a short ride around downtown for people with low range PEVs, and anyone with longer range we can go further after that. I'm up for a bunch of rides, so if anyone wants to do some exploring we can work out plans. Better to ride in a group plus we can geek out about our gear.

Hi all, I recently revived my Thrustmaster 458 Spider wheel (Xbox only) after replacing the potentiometer to fix some steering issues. It was working perfectly. I wanted to try and use x360ce on windows as to try and get the wheel to work. (Since I last used the wheel I have moved towards PC Gaming) For unrelated reasons which I've only solved now, I couldn't get the wheel working as I wanted, so I went into device manager and removed the wheel. (Or xbox gamepad as it was recognized) After this, the wheel and all it's buttons are not recognized by x360ce, and I noticed in settings the device has gone from having the gamepad symbol to the generic computer and phone symbol. Only the buttons however, did still work in simple windows like Xbox game bar. Upon realizing this I went to plug the wheel into my Xbox One S, and it recognized the buttons, however steering and pedals did not work. I am not entirely sure how to go about the problem, so any help with getting the wheel would be appreciated.

Hello today i got my arduino leonardo and i want to make steering wheel using potentiometers, but since i dont have full "equipment" but only 1 potentiometer, for beggining i want to make only 1 axis joystick, (x axis or whatever is needed for steering in PC GAMES like euro truck simulaotr 2), i tried codes on internet but i had issues with them like deadzones and so. i think that is because i have only 1 potentiometer but those codes are intended for steering, breaking, force feedback and so..., and because im full noob,scrub with arduino i need help with making single axis controller, i connected potentiometer (10k 300°) and everything, i just really dont know anything about programming it

Hello, im having issues with coding on arduino, its my first time actually having fun with arduino. So i dont really know what im doing. What i am trying to do is to make DIY steering wheel and pedals with potentiometers and im getting this error atlibusbdfu.dll This is code i found on internet. Potentiometer has limited range of 300° (full turn) so basically 150° in each direction... Can you maybe guide me towards success This is the code : #include "UnoJoy.h" void setup(){ setupPins(); setupUnoJoy(); } void loop(){ // Always be getting fresh data dataForController_t controllerData = getControllerData(); setControllerData(controllerData); } void setupPins(void){ // Set all the digital pins as inputs // with the pull-up enabled, except for the // two serial line pins for (int i = 2; i <= 12; i++){ pinMode(i, INPUT); digitalWrite(i, HIGH); } pinMode(A4, INPUT); digitalWrite(A4, HIGH); pinMode(A5, INPUT); digitalWrite(A5, HIGH); } dataForController_t getControllerData(void){ // Set up a place for our controller data // Use the getBlankDataForController() function, since // just declaring a fresh dataForController_t tends // to get you one filled with junk from other, random // values that were in those memory locations before dataForController_t controllerData = getBlankDataForController(); // Since our buttons are all held high and // pulled low when pressed, we use the "!" // operator to invert the readings from the pins controllerData.triangleOn = !digitalRead(2); controllerData.circleOn = !digitalRead(3); controllerData.squareOn = !digitalRead(4); controllerData.crossOn = !digitalRead(5); controllerData.dpadUpOn = !digitalRead(6); controllerData.dpadDownOn = !digitalRead(7); controllerData.dpadLeftOn = !digitalRead(8); controllerData.dpadRightOn = !digitalRead(9); controllerData.l1On = !digitalRead(10); controllerData.r1On = !digitalRead(11); controllerData.selectOn = !digitalRead(12); controllerData.startOn = !digitalRead(A4); controllerData.homeOn = !digitalRead(A5); // Set the analog sticks // Since analogRead(pin) returns a 10 bit value, // we need to perform a bit shift operation to // lose the 2 least significant bits and get an // 8 bit number that we can use controllerData.leftStickX = analogRead(A0) >> 2; controllerData.leftStickY = analogRead(A1) >> 2; controllerData.rightStickX = analogRead(A2) >> 2; controllerData.rightStickY = analogRead(A3) >> 2; // And return the data! return controllerData; }

Hi. Are there any car racing games for children (6 years old) that support racing wheels? Games like Forza are way too difficult for them. A more simple, maybe even older game like Sega Rally would do. Do you know such games on PC or Xbox One? Thanks.

Hi, so recently I've gotten into games that are best played with wheels, such as Project Cars 2 and Euro Truck Simulator 2.I've been searching for some wheels but haven't really got a solid choice due to my little knowledge on wheels and what kind of controls they are capable of. I'm looking for an all-rounder wheel and the possibility of a pedal kit so I can play driving games a lot more immersively. My criteria for what I am searching for: Paddle shifters Ideally for Xbox One + PC Pedals with gas + brake (Clutch pedal isn't needed, I don't think) Budget of £200 So far, the best contender is the Logitech G920, since it fits all the criteria, despite that price hitting the ceiling of my budget. Do you guys have any suggestions for wheels? I don't have time to game an awful lot nowadays so I'm not sure if a £200 investment into a wheel would be worth my time.

So Newegg is having great sales, plenty of other posts about it. Haven't seen any highlighting these ones though. Logitech G29/920 - $200 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=26-197-073 From all accounts, great FFB wheel. Haven't used one personally, have the thrustmaster, but I was definitely eying them, and at $200 (50%) it's a steal in my book. Thrustmaster warthog hotas set $349 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=26-280-021 Not as good a deal as the Logitech wheel, but awesome joystick, I own one. This is the set though, so you get the joystick and throttle for the price I paid just for the joystick. The thrustmaster T16000M is on sale as well, kit s are well priced (joystick+throttle+rudder $149, joystick+joystick $114.99, just joystick $59.99) These are touted to be great for space Sims, I'll be buying the joystick+joystick the end of this week There's a lot more on sale if you look on Newegg for PC gaming controllers but these 3 really stood out to me. If you're looking for entry-mid level sim gear, these could be great options at good prices.

By Wheel Setup i mean something that has pedals+wheel doesn't need a shifter since im ok with using padel shifters. Best racing wheel for 400$? No More. I was thinking of a combination from this thrustmaster base which is 160$, this wheel add on which is 95$, and these pedals which are 150$ for a grand total of 405$. If you find something cheaper, that doesn't really change the feel that much, then thats even better

The best Of the best Wheel+Shifter+Pedal Combo under 350$? the pedals have to have a clutch, and the shifter has to be an H shifter. You can go ham with everything else. Been looking at a g29/920 and i think their ok, but i wanna ask the community if they have anything better to offer. Thanks for reading and hopefully you can help me out

I wanna get into driving on a wheel and pedals. For cheap. Pedals have to have clutch accelerator and brake. Shifter has to have 6 gears including reverse, and has to have that hard feeling to put into gears, not like grinding but not like buttery smooth either. Wheel HAS to have more then fucking 90C turning circle, because the one i have is 90 and its fucking frustrating!!! Doesnt have to be from some known brand, or have leather, all it has to do is work. Also dont really care if the pedals are inverted or not.

so i have this problem with the wheel of my marvo M215 from this bundle mouse which i bought 2 weeks ago and i got this problem 1 week ago and it seems that it's a hardware problem since i tried it on another computer and it still had the same problem, i also think this problem started after uninstalling "x-mouse button control" program, the video, it also seems that any touch activates the stutter.

The scroll wheel on my Razer Mamba TE has recently stopped working. I've tried it on another computer and it still doesn't work, however, it looks/feels physically fine so I'm hoping that it's a software problem. Are there any settings stored on the mouse itself that could cause this issue?

So I'm going back to Norway for the summer, and since I'm taking a flight, I can't take too many things with me. I plan on leaving the larger things like my desktop, and the sub here for the summer, however since I will be taking my drivers test after coming back to Canada after the summer, it would be beneficial for me to take my G27 with me and practise using the h shifter over the summer. The issue is that with the wheel on the main housing, it is too tall to fit in my suitcase. I'm aware you can disassemble it fairly easily by removing the front hex screws on the image below, but would there be any possibility for it to get uncalbrated (being off center) Once re assembled?

I was wondering if there is anyway to use the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Racing wheel on PC, like some drivers or something you can download for compatibility with PC

I recently bought a Logitech G27 of Gumtree (Equivalent to Craigslist) and I am pretty positive I was scammed. The wheel itself I found is broken in some sort of unknown way, the guy who sold it to me had claimed he never really touched the thing he just bought it brand new and didn't use it. Upon buying it there was no power supply because he had "Lost it" and so I had bought my own off Amazon, it took a few weeks to arrive. After the power supply had arrived I plugged in and realized the wheel was broken. I started to look up causes for this and people had suggested the Optical Sensor was broken but I had opened the wheel and the Optical Sensor was fine, but I noticed that there was very visible wear on the wheel and this "Brand New" wheel was not very new. I tried to contact him but he is not replying even though he is posting new Ads by the day. I think the scam method used was to sell me the wheel with no power supply so I had to buy a new one and wait a while because none are available in Australia, and so when it arrived and I realised the fact that it was broken the Ad had expired and I couldn't report him. Not very happy right now considering I lost $180 on a wheel that I bought with money I had got for my birthday and I can't sell the wheel because it is broken, nor do I want to scam anyone for it. On the bright side the shifter and pedals work but I guess there is no point now... Just thought I would share my story so people can look out for this and stay safe from scam and not have to lose money like I did. Side note: If you want to buy a broken G27 Wheel, hit me up :L

With it's current price $350 on amazon is it still worth it? I found some on eBay for $300. Yet for some reason the price increased. Is it still worth it. A g920 and shifter is $400. I was thinking of getting a thrustmaster with a shifter.
