Hello mates, I'm looking for a cheap server platform, to accomplish the following purposes: - a server where I can virtualize 2 or 3 Vm at same time: - NAS server (with Plex Media Server - 4k res) - Crypto wallet VM (will be online rarely) - Seedbox VM - Run sometimes a game server on the host machine - The host can be Windows Server or Linux (game server will demands at least 4 cores 2Ghz, and 4GB of free RAM) I'm looking for a CPU that can do this all above, without emptying my wallet (power consumption and hardware value). So I've found the E5 2678 v3 (Used). It is the best option for these purposes? What you guys recommend? Thanks in advance. I will appreciate any help!

Hello, I am trying to set up dogecoin core but syncing was taking a long time. I found that I could use a bootstrap and was instructed to move the downloaded block and chain state files into the equivalent area in the dogecoin core files. I heard I needed a bootstrap.dat file? This was not included in the download. Please help, I have tried everything I can think of. Thanks in advance. -
I remember a while ago, some time in 2022, Linus was talking about how LTT wallet development was going. They had renders of a pretty standard looking wallet with logos and orange. Linus mentioned that he needed a large card capacity, in a slim form factor. ----------------------- I want to share my experience and perspective, because I feel that I relate to Linus' perspective but already have a good solution for it, and want to share. Maybe it will be useful info as the LTT wallet is developed. I think the solution is pretty simple: don't have each card in its own pocket (hold them as a stack instead). This removes having a sleeve of material between each card, which adds up when you have more than a dozen cards in a wallet. Which I happen to have and love dearly (I have v5.0) Here is my daily loadout: * 8 standard size credit cards * 1 Thick HID card * 1 Thin plastic insurance card * 1 Thin paper card * 5 US Bills and 1 US Vaccine card, folded in the bifold And here is it put into the Wally Bifold 5.0: I think the concept works really well. I like the feeling of using the magnetic pull tabs, fanning out the cards and grabbing the one I need, and then sliding it back into the fan and pushing them back in. I also like being able to pop one stack out, push everything in except for my transit card so that the transit card is held on one edge by the wallet so I can scan it with one hand on the picky card readers that can't read through anything, and then push it back in really quickly as I get on the bus. I hate fumbling and wasting time as I get on a bus: -------------- Cheers. I doubt I'll be able to be converted away from this wallet but I would love to be surprised. Hey guys, I was wondering is there any good mobile wallet apps that I could include my: -credit cards -loyalty cards -ID & driver license -public transport card -public library card and so on. I did see the "Cards" app but as it has serious problems considering the whole "community cards" thingy. Story time! just upgrading my hdd. no space for both new and old. have my blockcahin on it but program on other disk. have a usb dock for 2 disks if that helps how to move it safe?? ideas i came up with: delete it and just hope that nothing important was there and that the coin data is elsewhere image disk over (dont know how to, but i can learn!!!) uninstall whole thing and recover using wallet.dat - tried on another pc but bitcoin core ddnt act the way i thought and could not find a place to place the wallet.dat after manyt hours of searching.... i know how to google.... import into electrum.... (ps: os and part of program on diferent disk again than blockchain) (pps: may all mod's kill this post if it breaks ltt policy. ) (ppps: may all capitol letters suck my gpu)

I want to make a Bittrex crypto coin wallet however the verification requires me to send a picture of my ID. I feel a little unsettled about it. Can anyone vouch for this company? I know coinbase follows a similar practice. However I have never made a wallet before.

So I'm thinking of buying about 2 Bitcoin and at the moment I'm just using Bitcoin core which stores the entire blockchain on my PC and as I don't have a backup of my system I don't really want to risk losing over $1000 Also storing the wallet on my PC can be a pain as it takes up a large amount of space. Any suggestions as to where I should purchase the Bitcoin and what online wallet to use? Cheers. -
Good day all, One week ago, as I was in the Newark Train Station, I went to feel for my wallet, and realized it was not there. After searching my bag, my suitcase, and my pockets, quite thoroughly, I had come to one conclusion: it was gone. Now, I have never lost anything in my life, I pride myself in being quite responsible. Due to the large numbers of crime and rush hour traffic of New York City, I can only conclude that it was stolen. I lost my driver's license, credit card, debit card, both of my airline Rapid Rewards cards, several gift cards, and about $45 cash that I kept in there, so it was not a very happy day. After recovering my credit cards, and setting up new accounts, I purchased a new wallet, but I wanted to add a tracking device in there, so I can make sure this event doesn't happen again. My question is: what tracker should I get? I'd ideally like to have it include most of the following: Thin and discreet $25-35 price range Ability to produce sound and/or vibrate Thanks everyone!

Hey, I recently cashed out of opskins and because of the way their site works, (I had 65$) I cashed out 50$, then 10$, then 5$ all in the same ~1min range. I used the same wallet address for each. They then paid me a few days later (yesterday) and when I logged onto my wallet. It is empty. Please help me, I'm very scared. I don't want to loose 65$ in btc. I attached pictures of my wallet and what it looks like on their site. Thanks in advance! To sum up: I cashed out at the same time a 5$, 10$ and 50$, all using the same btc address. A few days later they marked it as paid, and my wallet doesn't show any transaction.→I Don't know what to do, and I am scared of losing the 65$.

Go Samsung Go? I can see why this might happen for Samsung. Rooting can give access to things you shouldn't otherwise have access too, can lead to all sorts of security headaches, maybe to preserve the secure nature of their payment system they opted to brick it in the event you root. Don't know if I really agree with that, then again you don't own the software you get on those phones and Samsung is entirely allowed to do what they want on that end. Hi, so I have reinstalled my windows os because of different reasons but I have a backup of the wallet.dat that the bitcoinqt made for me. Now my question is, how do I use it again. Like how do I put it into the program on my new installation of windows? Because I have installed it and I have downloaded the blockchain but now there are no options for like import or something so what do I do? Regards, Ludwig Johnson
