Hi, I finally received Ryzen 5900X. And I watched some videos about AMDs and etc. But I want to ask here, which settings should I tweak in BIOS or Ryzen Master to get free performance. Original design 1st rough concept 2nd rough concept I've been frequently using media control ever since I upgraded to W10. I assigned play/pause to one of the macro buttons of my mouse. Spotify is nearly always on, when I want to watch something I don't go back to Spotify app, I just simply click one button and it stops and sometimes I also use the media overlay to adjust the volume. But you see, it affects the whole system wide volume. So having a seperate volume bar for the current media player would be something that would benefit me. I'm more towards the second design in which he volume bar on the left controls speaker volume and the one on the right controls only the application being played. I'm already using EarTrumpet but I'd prefer something more like the media overlay for convenience. Btw if you know a mod/tweak that can do this please inform me. I'm all about that tweaking/modding life.

Hi guys, I'm tweaking my ram timings with the help of Ryzen DRAM Calculator. Everything seems good so far, plus 10 FPS on my most played game. I haven't tested for full stability using memtest86, I'll do it later. I'd like to know what to do with some settings in my BIOS that don't match the ones showed in the CALCULATOR. See the images below. I'm not sure what to do with tRFC because it shows as only "tRFC" in the calculator but I have more than one tRFC setting in my BIOS. Also RTT_NOM and RTT_PARK don't allow me to set RZQ/7(34), I can only disable the setting or set a value in ohms. What should I do? Help me out pls! Is there any step by step guide on how to use the calculator properly?

Hello! I got myself a gtx 980ti STRIX and downloaded the rog gpu tweak 2. I pressed the "Gaming booster" And that ruined my pc. I can't see previews of multi windows and my ALT+2 which is "@" in european keyboards has a 4 second delay before it appears. same with "£". But the ALT key works to function other buttons like $€{[]} without delay. How do I fix this? I don't have gaming booster on anymore.

So,i know laptops CANNOT(in genral) be upgraded beyond storage and RAM.Altough there is a way to ''tweak'' some elements. As such i wanted to share a little trick you can do to ''upgrade'' your sound card,or at least, make it better somehow. Also ,it can sometimes work on your Desktop if the card will allow it. So at first : go to the sound panel on the bottom right corner of your UI. right-click on it and select read peripherals, after that, select your main sound peripheral and right click on it too.go to properties, advanced statistics, and there you should see a panel that reads : some amount of bits, 48000 hertz . you want to set that to 192000 hertz (studio quality) and the maximum amount of bits you see. And there!!! you just somehow got your sound better by letting a better range of frequencies take a shot at your sound!!! Now you can also enable sound equalization in whatever sound software is used for your sound card and now the sound will ''sound'' a little bit better, louder than shitty whispering, and there you go!!! Now enjoy studio quality sound and loudness and now you can fap to HD tracks of your porn (wait ,what???....)

Hello guys and girls. I thought of a way to get an app Drawer on iOS, it’s not the best solution, but it works. I have made a video showing how to do it: install Workflow and Launcher create a new workflow and set it as a normal flow in the search box, type ‘open app’ and drag it in select it to open the Launcher Click the settings icon and name it app Drawer and create an icon for it click ‘add to homescreen’ and put it where you want there’s the icon sorted Now for the launcher page open Launcher skip the notification setup page add an apps to the launcher page done Now you should have a crude but functional app Drawer, it requested to open apps for the first time using them, but it goes away after the first time. Thank you for reading and hope you enjoy this method.

I just installed my GTX 1080, and I downloaded GPU Tweak II. I do not plan on overclocking the card myself(I.E. Manually), but I do want it to perform at it's best. So my question is, should I set GPU Tweak to gaming mode or OC mode? Gaming mode gives the card 109% speed while OC mode gives it 111% speed. I know the higher speed is probably better, but I wanted to ask which is better to have?

I tried a lot of different methods but only the on down below worked (don't worry i have compiled it to a file for you) note: you might need to restart explorer.exe for the change to take effect, to do so run this in cmd ' taskkill /f /im explorer.exe & start explorer.exe ' (without quotes) ENJOY! for anyone that wants to see how to do it for himself or even if you wanted to make your own version for any filetype https://superuser.com/a/1284919/937438

Hey guys, So I'm not sure if this is the right place to be posting this but some help would be much appreciated. Anyways, I was planning on getting the Dell XPS 9550 15" laptop for college this year. http://www.dell.com/us/p/xps-15-9550-laptop/pd?oc=fncwx1631b&model_id=xps-15-9550-laptop It has a 256 GB M.2 SSD (at least i was told it is M.2 by Dell but they weren't very confident about their answer... they also said since it was M.2, there would be a SATA bay available for use). It also has 8GB of dual channel RAM, running Skylake i7, and a Nvidia GeForce 960M card with 2GB GDDR5. I was wondering what I would do to spruce it up a bit though. Do you think bumping the ram up to 16 GB is worth it and if it is, should I get two 8GB or one 16 GB? Additionally, I don't think the storage space on this laptop is close to enough. Since the SATA bay is open, should I put in a HDD or should I spend the extra money and put in a SSD. OR should I just use an external hard drive? Any other things I should maybe do as well? Thanks in advance! Arjun

Hello I'm just asking if anyone of you knows a setting or piece of software that allows you to display the taskbar icons like the clock on all monitors. Since gaming makes the main monitor go fullscreen, I cant look at the clock or other taskbar icons while doing so. Thanks!

So I have a K95 keyboard, with a volume wheel on it, which is great. I just went to windows 10 a few days ago, before that, on windows 7, I ran 3RVX to always have a volume slider on the screen when using the wheel, which worked fine. However windows 10 has this built in. When I use the wheel, the slider is on the top left. However I sometimes use the slider on the button right with my mouse as well, and that slider is on the bottom right, and looks better (bigger). Is there a way to make the wheel always show up the bottom right slider? Because that looks better. And then I don't have to be confused at where to look when changing volume. I have no problem with regedit if that's needed. Thanks!

Hey forum, I've come up with an interesting problem. My GTX 680 DirectCU II is kinda loud even when its fans are at lowest stock speeds. I saw an article (link below, content in spoiler) where someone had managed to get their GTX 680 DCUII to have a fanless mode by flashing the BIOS with a minimum fan speed of zero. I followed this and what I've ended up with is a reported fan speed percentage of zero, but as you can see it's still actually running at 1050RPM. Do you guys have any suggestions for ways I could get it to work? An interesting idea I've had is to set a negative value in the BIOS and flash it again but of course I don't want to do anything that would give me a particular risk of bricking my card. Thanks! Hey guys, so I use my jailbroken iPhone 6plus very often and I like it, but there are 2 Cydia Tweaks where I'd like to change something. My problem: I only learned Java, and C seems very complicated but in 4 weeks school starts again and I'm probably starting to learn C++ there.. Anyway - I need your help. So on the Cydia Market there is a Tweak called "BioProtect". It has functions like when opening an App there is a password protection, etc, exactly like the other Tweak ("Asphaleia 2") has, but BioProtect has slightly more useful features, and Asphaleia 2 has a better design. Or - I mean when opening an App, there is the TouchID symbol on the app itself and it says "Scanning finger.." Under the app, and the symbol is animated. But in BioProtect, there is somewhat like an ugly messagebox with the touchID Logo in there. I would either like to change the logo from BioProtect, or put those features into Asphaleia 2, or make a completly new tweak. Also, when turning off the device it also asks for a TouchID/Passcode, There is the msg-box in both tweaks - I want the TouchID animated logo ontop of the Power Off Slider itself and that should be compatible with RePower. The same on the Control Center (when swiping up from the bottom of the screen) when tapping onto those "Quick Switches", there should also be that animated logo ontop of the icon and that should be compatible with the tweak "CCSettings". If anyone of you could do something and possibly even explain me something I would be so thankful. Also, I want to see the code before you send it, because I don't want viruses or something in there If interested or any further question, send me an email: marchs2000@gmail.com Details: TaiG 2430 Jailbreak iPhone 6 plus iOS 8.4 I don't know exactly how tweaks are written, but I think it's with C, C++ or Objective C..

Nvidia has done a pretty good job of a few big name games and posting tweak guides for everyone. I believe at one point I read that the writer for TweakGuides wrote guides for Nvidia as well. And now to the link http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/grand-theft-auto-v-pc-graphics-and-performance-guide

I followed this guide http://www.tweaktown.com/guides/6800/tweaktown-s-ultimate-windows-ssd-performance-installation-guide/index.html and I believed it to be too good to be true. But after benchmarking my SSD with AS-SSD I now believe it to be black magic. My old OCZ Agility went from 67 mb/s random 4K write to an amazing 115 mb/s a solid 72 % increase in performance. As you can see from my HD Tune screenshot of the file sizes being used by Windows the 4K writes are 2/3 of all the writes to the disk, which means that Random 4K write performance is really important for the feel of windows. I thought my system was optimized for maximum SSD performance, because my scores where up to par with review site scores, but after disabling all powersaving feature in the BIOS and in Windows and installing the correct drivers my drives actually beats every score I have found. Go make your SSD even faster

Many are upset with the supposed framerate cap of 30FPS (the tech report) that was said to be implemented on the PC version of The Evil Within. Along with this, Bethesda claimed some very beefy recommended specs including 4GB of VRAM to even run at 1080p. Ways to unlock FPS cap, change aspect ratio, and/or enable various GOD modes (incgamers) The game is to be officially released at midnight tonight, but it actually launched for me a few minutes ago. I'm waiting for it to get dark on my side of the planet, but I wanted to dial in the settings. That's were I came across what seems like a bug. I set the resolution to 1440p, and it simply enlarged the image to scale (cutting half of the game off the screen). I set out to investigate a way to fix and run it at 1440p, a resolution which is supported by my VG248QE but not native, (so your mileage may very?) which is how I learned about the above FPS cap, and rec specs. TL;DR The Evil Within capped to 30fps Ways to unlock that and other imposed restraints linked above Game will launch and play NOW 1440p resolution doesn't seem to work

So every time I open up GPU Tweak or MSI Afterburner, particularly when I have a video playing in Chrome, my computer freezes, the cursor stops responding, and the audio skips on the last sound that was played. At first I had GPU Tweak installed, and I thought uninstalling that and then installing Afterburner would fix the problem, but unfortunately no lock. Does anyone have a fix for this? Arena Commander - Visual Tweaks Hi guys I would just like to add a little thread here, to help spread my little tweak file in hopes that you guys will find it useful as well. Description This is visual tweak config file which aims to bring out deeper shadows, darker environments and better SSAO, removes motion blur and depth of field. This does not require any shader injectors and uses only the console commands available. It is not a very big change but it does increase the immersion and most of it is personal preference so you can edit the config to suit your taste or run the commands from the console and then save it by replacing the config value. Before Shot 1 After Shot 1 Before Shot 2 After Shot 2 The differences do exist in the images they are just hard to spot without being in-game, but if you pay attention to the walls right of the fish tank and the body of the 300i you will certainly notice the SSAO taking effect, the effects look much better in-game than the images though. Interested? cool Download Click here to download Extract too "GamePathHere\StarCitizen\CitizenClient"; Removal is the reverse of this. Latest posting can always be found on the RSI forum by clicking here Source for those interested Gamma and Shadow resolution are personal taste so you may want to fiddle with them. Shadow resolution must be powers of two for example - 64: 128: 256: < Smoother but less detail 512: < which looks shit 1024: 2048: 4096< higher crisper shadows but, for some reason introduces shadow pixilation around the border of the shadows. -- LedHeads Visual Tweak Pack--See http://starcitizen.wikia.com/wiki/Console_commands for usage.-- Basic Settings cl_fov = 90 pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov = 95 r_DrawNearFoV = 95 -- Anti-Aliasing r_TexMinAnisotropy = 8 r_TexMaxAnisotropy = 8 --Post Processing Effects r_DepthOfField = 0 r_MotionBlur = 0 g_radialBlur = 0 --Vsync & FPS limit r_VSync = 0 --Change to your preference sys_MaxFPS = 120 --Mouse Sensitivity i_mouse_accel = 0.0 i_mouse_accel_max = 0.0 cl_sensitivity = 10 --Other cl_crouchToggle = 1 --Change to 1 for crouch toggle hud_bobHud = 0--Advanced Settings -- Post Process Effects r_ChromaticAberration = 0 r_Sharpening = 0 --Lighting & Shadow Quality r_SSAO = 3 r_ssdo = 1 r_SSReflections = 1 r_Gamma = 0.86 --Change to your preference r_HDRBrightLevel = 0.5 e_ShadowsMaxTexRes = 256 e_ParticlesShadows = 0

I just have a quick question: Does Asus GPU Tweak software have a fan graph that I can adjust to choose when the fan speeds up on my 2 Asus 760 cards? I know that EVGA's overclocking software has an option to change the fan graph. I just want to make the fans speed up a little quicker at a lower temperature. Thanks.
