Accursed Farms has been talking about game as a service and companies destroying games for a long time now, and in the video he talks about how Ubisoft destroying The Crew seems like as good of a chance to fight back as we are gonna get. He goes over his reasoning and how he wants to approach this lawsuit and I feel like he has thought this through and we should help him make this lawsuit a reality. so does these games have the E30?

so my friend has been playing The Crew for a while and he has a long progress in the game compared to me. he has completed the story and he has also completed most challenges and is at level 59. recently i started playing the game and i am in level 14 now. i think i have finished the story by 25% and done some challenges as well. so today both of us tried to play together today for the very first time. he is in my friend list in Uplay and when i tried to invite him to my crew in the game he is unable to get in.when he accepts the invitation it gives the error "unable to join the crew".he sees a red cross in my profile picture as well. same thing happens when he invites me. and i can see him in the map sometimes but when i go to his position his car is not visible to me. when i go towards other online players they appear nicely. is this some problem from the ubisoft side or is it some problem like he is in a higher level than i am in so i cant join him. but he tried to go and put a public event invitation to see if can play together like that, however i did not get the invite but some other random players were able to see it and they joined after a couple of minutes and out of those players one guy was level 5 so i think player level doesnt matter for inviting to a crew. what is going on? is there any fix to this problem?

I am famous level now in the crew 2 and have completed many races and i still haven't unlocked quick switch and if i have what key is it since i did not find anything in settings. Any help would be very much appreciated thank you!

Ok, so I recently downloaded The Crew as a part of the Ubisoft 30th anniversary. But when i try to launch the game it crashes. "The Crew Game has stopped working" it says. I have updated my video card drivers to the latest ones, an are now trying to reinstall the game, but it hasn`t worked. Any suggestions?

Hello guys! I have a little problem. I played The Crew on pc with a Dualshock4 controller, but it doesn't work properly anymore. A while back the controller was just working fine (with TC and other games) and it got detected by Windows 10 as an Xbox controller (which is normal), but now I have to set the right settings myself and a lot of things do not work as before. It still works with other games on my pc, but just not with The Crew. Does anyone know what's going on? I really want to play The Crew with a controller instead of keyboard and mouse.

I'm asking for a friend- I finally got him to get The Crew on Steam. He downloaded it fine, but when he went to play for the first time, Steam never finished the First Time Setup. After a restart and a reinstall, it atill is broken. Any ideas?

I've bought The Crew 2 weeks ago. The game lags every 30 seconds and drops my FPS to 14 for 2 seconds and than it gets back to 60. Does anyone know how to fix this issue. Hey you guys! So I recently got a hold of Dirt 3 and The Crew for PC. I've been playing them with my Xbox 360 controller because using the keyboard sucks in driving/racing games. But I was thinking of getting a racing wheel to play them even more properly. I don't have a big budget and I've never used a racing wheel besides one for my PS1 a long time ago, and I remember it was pretty fun. So my questions are; Is there a good cheep racing wheel that has force feedback, paddle shifters and peddles that I can play these games and others with, on my computer? Is force feedback necessary for better control? I'm really in the range of ~$50 so I'm not sure what I can get for that. I've seen Thrustmaster wheels, but they are a little on the high price side for me. I'm not getting into competitive stuff like F1 games, so I'm not looking for the best. Just something that I can clamp to my desk that will be solid so I can race with it. Anyways any input helps: MrMDAN47

I honestly can't stand this issue anymore! The constant random freezes that I keep receiving is making the game physically unplayable for me. I can handle the disconnection errors that I get when I play co-op mission with my friends. But I cannot tolerate these freezes that makes me close my game and relaunch it (which takes 5 minutes from launch to get to the world map screen). Getting my car to level 1299 is virtually impossible as I have no patience to relaunch my game every time it freezes on my 3th or 4th jump from a ramp to farm those level 50 platinum parts. This freezing issue only happens when my car is moving AND when I'm using nitro. When the game freezes, the sound still keeps running in the background and I can still hear my car and nitro accelerating. I'll then have to use my mouse and click on the game a few times to get that "not responding" box to pop up and close the game and relaunch it again from the uPlay launcher. This issue has been occurring to me ever since I got the game. I played with the keyboard and mouse in the beginning and then moved onto an Xbox 360 controller. I used Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit and am now using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and the issue went with me everywhere. I've ticker around with the settings like setting it to windowed, fullscreen or playing the game with different graphic settings. My Windows is fully updated and I have the latest stable NVIDIA driver. If anybody has any suggestions or advice for me, please tell me and I'll do it right away. I love this game and I really want to keep playing it with all my friends. My following system specs are... Apologies if this has already been posted. Ubisoft are showing their colours again. This article on Kitguru (LINK) outlines how cheats are still prospering including an unreal video of one of said cheats. Secondly they have delayed access to the next DLC for PC season pass holders, so now they will only get access at the same time as other PC users, 9 days after console season pass holders & 2 days after console non-season pass holders, The excuse being 'due to technical reason'. Ahhh Ubisoft... Keep on digging!

So I wiped my hdd to install an ssd and I bought an external hdd to backup all my games because 150Kb/s internet and I backed up The Crew and now im trying to put the backup in uplay (It would be in steam but I got it with my new graphics card) and It just keeps on wanting to download it, how do I make it where I can put in the backup and just play Thanks

Hi, I (for one) love the crew and have completed the game and even dare take on the landmark tour. But it doesn't seem like anyone is playing it comment below if you play it and opinions please.

Welcome to my first review on The Crew; I can't say that I am impressed with this game. Although I did enjoy playing it, even though there was a load of bugs and missing features, but that was for about 2 hours then I had to force myself to play it to do this review. The first thing I want to talk about is the controls as their a key part of any game and can affect the whole feel of the game. In my opinion the controls were poor, the default keys to move are the arrow keys, I would've preferred WASD to be the default as most games use them these days but it isn't really a big deal just thought that I would mention it. Another thing that I didn't like relating to the controls is the fact they didn't tell you what to do before you started playing the game, this caused me not to know how to use the handbrake until I had been playing for 2 hours, I would have liked it if there was some sort of tutorial on how to work the car, just a small detail that really annoyed me. Umm also illogical controls like z for horn wtf???????? The police system in this games is completely stupid, you can't get arrested unless you are within like 5 meters of a police car, seems like the public don't have mobile phones to call the police. Another thing that I really hated is when you drive past a police car at 150mph it simply just ignores you, wtf how does that make sense, unless you have different rules about speeding in the US. Also another slightly weird thing that I noticed is that if you crash into a police car they chase you immediately, but if you hit a civilian car nothing happens (even if the police can see you). The police cars also disappear sometimes but you know whatever. The police chases well that's the same as the whole of the review a total shambles, cars randomly appearing and still being able to go quicker than you even when using NOS (like 230mph). As you can tell by now my likes list is a little shorter than my dislikes list The graphics were actually quite good, but nowhere near as good as games like Arma 3, some of the textures were superb and some lacked depth and detail. The textures of the cars in my opinion looked amazing but the terrain textures lacked; one I noticed in particular with the ballast on the train tracks. Overall the quality of the map was good (although there was some issues like the was a massive jump between thick and thin snow some sort of blending would be nice). The size of the world was pretty good for the style of the game and gave a lot of room to roam free. A thing that really annoyed me but it really isn't a problem is the measurements in the "nav" system, so now its only 64 miles from LA to Miami? No? But the crew said it so . Right so this really annoyed me, so basically when looking from the outside of the car the windscreen is all crack and messed up but when you look from the inside it magically fixes and you have perfects vision. On the subject of magic your car magically repairs over time; why not just have more garages to fix your car? It can't be that hard (I know that it happens in lots of car games still pisses me off though). The multi-player aspect of this game was kinda crap to be honest, you have to use chat to contact them or you could go onto the sexy ubisoft forum and ask to join a crew, I would've like some kind of voice chat for the game (there isn't one as far as im aware). The main aspect (except driving) of this game is online play and it was simply lacking. The driving is hard for me to comment on because I have never driven but I found the cars hard to control, it may have been easier if I had a steering wheel, but I aint gonna buy one. The level system in place is ok but could do with some tweaking, I also don't like the fact that it is locked at 30 or 60 fps when my pc could probably play it about 100 (I think). I would like to see a better music/radio system implemented where you can upload your own music, I would love to see more cars and all round improvements to gameplay and graphics. I would give this game 2/10 (might be generous) considering they probably had a 9 figure budget. This game wasn't really realistic (It would have been ok if it wasn't set in a real place and meant to be kinda realistic) which disappointed me. I definitely wouldn't recommend buying this game considering the massive price tag, at least the servers work . Anyway I am sorry for the probably badly written review and it probably also has a really bad structure I am not a journalist . Thanks for reading and I hope it helps you in someway.

Has anyone gotten a chance to play The Crew yet? Does the AI cheats in your game? The AI managed to somehow outcheated me in a 1 hour race.

I recently purchased The Crew and found it to be a pretty good game, despite the locked 60fps poor resource allocation and slight instability... The other night my Brother who has an Xbox 360 (he doesn't game enough to justify building a PC and is pretty content with the Xbox) he asked me what racing games I would recommend and I told him about The Crew, he bought it and when I saw how poorly the Xbox 360 ran it I couldn't help but make a post on it... The game looks terrible, even for a 360, it looked like it was running at 720p at best, 24fps, and it had terrible stuttering, when I attempted to open the map, the game came up with a loading screen for about 10 seconds, then when I had fast travelled, the HUD interface such as the speedometer, tachometer, and mini map took a few seconds to load in as well as the environment of the game, not just textures but entire buildings... All of this made me quite angry about how poorly Ubisoft developed this game but what realm set me off was that the vertical sync was off, something that is always supposed to be on for the consoles, it had the worst tearing I had ever seen in a game... After experiencing this I feel as if devs are wrongfully trying to get rid of the last ten consoles by coding the games so poorly, I know the Xbox could handle this game but Ubisoft deliberately throttled the hardware with this terrible excuse for a game. It probably won't be long until these so called next Gen consoles get smashed

Hey guys i have a NZXT H440 and as most of would know it has no 5.25" drive bays, and I was wondering how to play hard copies of games. I was going to buy The Crew on PC, and it is ALOT cheaper at a local store. Can you install the game with the disc and then play it without the disc? Any help would be amazing!

The crew Beta worked fine when I played it. I downloaded the crew and as long as it is the first program to launch on my computer then it works, if it isn't my CPU usage hits 100% when I try to open it, everything freezes and a couple of seconds the game stops responding. All I see is a black screen. Anyone had anything similar happen? CPU: i7 4770k GPU: GTX 780 RAM: 8GB 1866MHz
