Greetings, I recently have purchased a Steelseries stratos+ controler due to it having USB c for charging. I wanted to use it with my PC by utilizing a Bluetooth dongle. However while waiting for the delivery I found out that it doesn't support Wireless connection with Windows. Is there any walk-around to be able to use it wirelessly with Windows?

I have alot of issues with this mouse but this is the most annoying one. It takes maybe a day or a day and a half for the mouse to completely just stop working with half full batteries. Aswell, the bluetooth has just completely stopped working and will not be detected. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this?

Hey, I've had a bunch of different headsets through the years but my current one is special, beyond anything I've ever had before. Possibly not in the most rational way, but for me it's both the best and the worst headset I've ever had. Just like many others I've went through my handful of Steelseries Siberia V2 over the years. Some because they simply broke, some because they've worn down (I may have abused a few and exercised my free throw a bit too enthusiastically at times). But that's not the headset I wanna talk about. I switched over to a Steelseries Sibera 800 back in 2016 and I loved having a wireless headset. It allowed me to move more freely in my apartment and just upped the game for me when it came to quality of life. The dual-battery system with the little hub on my desk made sure that I (almost) never ran out of battery which was a game-breaker. Unfortunately, as the years passed, I would find myself swapping batteries a bit more frequently. In fact, significantly more frequently. The batteries had lost a noticeable portion of their capacity which triggered the search for a replacement. To say the least, finding a replacement for this headset was not easy. I had grown accustomed to never running out of battery, never having to grab a charging cable. For the past 3 years I've had the comfort of (almost) never having to pause what I was doing at the PC because of my headset. While I initially enjoyed the dual-battery system, It had started bothering me. The hub would many times not recognise that a battery was inserted which would lead to me swapping battery just to find out that battery was at 0% charge. What started out as this great feature for comfort had degraded into the exact opposite. This is where HyperX steps into the picture. I finally found something that could be the replacement I was looking for. This headset blew my mind reading about it. I had never seen a PC headset with wireless charging. So I bought it and was beyond excited about this feature...and goddamn if it wasn't the best headset I had ever experienced. I paired it with an IKEA HEKTAR desktop lamp that had a wireless charging pad and it felt incredible. While the wireless charging pad only had 5W induction charging, it didn't really matter. The headset had a staggering 30hrs battery time which was 5-10 hours more than other competitor headsets could offer at the time. This was the best headset I had ever had and nothing I knew came nearly close. 5 Years later. The wireless charging is still king. It is the only headset with this level of comfort. However, the headset has not been pain-free. A couple pointers: - The sound is not great. The quality is acceptable and while I only listen to music/movies/series using my SONOS multi-speaker system it wouldn't hurt to have better sound. Other headsets I've tested have noticeable better range, clarity, etc. than what these can offer. - The sound is NOT great. The headset have had an issue with crackling noises for at least 1-2 years, and it's only gotten worse. I've tried everything to fix this and there seems to be no way around it unfortunately. - The microphone is sub-par. The quality has degraded over the years to the point where I'm cutting to where half of what I'm saying sometimes is not being picked up. The microphone position is extremely sensitive, I have to make adjustments very frequently to make sure it's set in front of my mouth. - The physical comfort was great (emphasis on was). This is nothing new. Leather wears down and loses its cushioning effect eventually. The downside is that the top headrest leather piece can not be replaced and at this point I'm getting worried I'll end up like Tyler1. It's not great. - The software is horrid (well maybe). It's not necessarily about the software, it's about the connection to the software. The headset constantly loses connection with the software which prevents me from making any changes to f.e. keybinds for the side buttons. To be honest the software UI is quite ok, it's very simple and straightforward. - The game/chat volume toggle does NOT exist. This headset desperately needs a toggle to control both chat and game volume channels. I have to constantly adjust volume of browser/applications/discord/games which is not great. - They're kind of bulky and I wish they were slimmer but I digress. Despite all these issues, this is still the best headset I've ever had. Having wireless charging is everything and I feel that it brings incredible value to this headset. I feel it's time for a replacement but the problem is that there isn't one. HyperX has since discontinued this model and there is no way for me to purchase a brand new one (I would if I could). Why has no other peripheral company picked up on this? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can not manage to find a single headset with QI-charging. There needs to be more gaming headsets with wireless charging and it saddens me that there are no other options on the market. Do I sacrifice the one feature that I love the most to improve on the other aspects of a headset? Or do I live through the cons until this headset eventually dies on me? After all, it is the best (and the worst) headset I've ever had.

Hello LTT Forum, I'm writing this post to get some more help into my mouse issues, since the manufacturer's tech support cannot support with tech. Last year in October, I bought a wireless mouse, a SteelSeries Aerox 5 Wireless, I bought this product at full price. It retails at $140, now you cant find them (as of today and holiday season) for roughly $99. What a good product, worked very well and I had no complaints. I've been a huge SteelSeries fan, I've bought their Artics Nova 7 headphones, their TKL keyboard and just recently, their mini pro wired keyboard. Unfortunately, a couple months ago, after a firmware update on the dongle and mouse, the mouse continues to disconnect (it never had this issue before). The disconnection issue will happen sporadically through a 5 hours gaming session, sometimes it happens every couple seconds and sometimes it happens every couple of minutes. I'm extremely patient and don't game competitively so I can live with this but as of last week, I had enough of it. So I started doing my due diligence and removed the software (SteelSeries GG) and uninstalled and installed the driver for the mouse, I followed SS' troubleshoot options on their website (long press buttons and pair it again), I updated to the most recent software, I could not figure it out to so I reached out to their tech support team. What a huge mistake! Let me be clear, I was not interested in a replacement, I was interested in knowing what was going on to make sure I can game without having this issue. I recorded a video for them and they were not able to tell me what was wrong with the product, instead, they offered a replacement as long as I had a receipt. I bought this item a year ago, I do not have the receipt but I did have the transaction, they did not accept this. And that's it for me and SS. I didn't use the code and would not buy another SS product if this is the support you get from this company. Only really posting this because Linus on the WAN Show gave a damn good plan on how they're going to deal with the bottom double layer issue with their backpacks. Waiting on you to sell mice, Linus...

I need to buy a new pair of gaming headphones since my current ones just broke but when it comes to audio i have no idea what im doing. My budget is probably somewhere around £100 but i would be willing to go a bit over if it meant the audio quality was a lot better than other options. If you have any recommendations which are high quality, have a little bit of rgb (not a requirement but ig it would be somewhat nice to have) with a good mic for a reasonable price please reply with a few links or names. Thanks

Hey guys, This friday I went to a lan with 3 of my friends. When I got there I had some issues with my PC where it wouldn't turn on if I had too many USBs connected to it. I tried a bunch of things and what ended up solving was pulling all the cables out from inside the PC and plugging them back in again and it worked fine for the rest of the evening/night. Yesterday afternoon when I connected everything back home again I played some WoW for about 2 hours and then all of a sudden my keyboard, headset and mouse just disconnected and would not turn back on unless I rebooted the PC. This just kept happening all the time. I tried unplugging everything inside the PC and plugged it back in but no luck. I unplugged my keyboard and plugged in a old "Saitek Eclipse" keyboard in which I assume draws less power than my Corsair K70 RGB. I don't have the problem atm with the saitek, but I am not sure if it could be my PSU that's starting to give up or is it my K70 that does somethign? The PSU is about 7 years old and it's a "EVGA 750w G2 GOLD". Windows gave me a quick error message about something that there is not enough power for the USBs. I am trying my best to not make this to a wall of text guys so I may be missing some info. The stuff I have connected to my PC is x1 USB for my Steelseries Arctis Pro, x2 USB for Corsair K70 RGB, x1 USB for Steelseries Rival 310. MSI 1080ti Intel i7-8700k EVGA 750w G2 GOLD Z390 Aorus Master Corsair 32GB RAM

Budget (including currency): Around £60 GBP Country: UK So my old Corsair Strafe RGB keyboard with silent Cherry MX switches might be kicking the bucket (gonna have to retest it later and try to fix it.). But does anyone have any recommendations for a good RGB keyboard with Cherry MX switches? Id prefer either Logitech, SteelSeries or Corsair as the brand if possible. Can be an oldish keyboard as long as it works well. I’d also prefer it to be able to have the RGB capabilities of the RGB Strafe too. I’d most likely be buying it second hand (as I can never afford keyboard prices straight up lol) Thank you all! Hopefully my RGB Strafe will live another day but if it doesn’t I’d hopefully have some of these to fall back on!

Hey guys, so my arctis 3 just arrived today and while I was testing it out I noticed that if I am in a call with friends, even if I hit the mute button on the headset, my pc output can still be heard, but not my voice or typing. For example, if I mute while watching Youtube, the video Im watching can still be heard but when I speak or type, it cant be heard. Any help would be much appreciated. TIA!

Currently, my options are between: Razer Opus X Razer Kaira Razer Barracuda X I'm not too sure what one to go with, so I need some help with that. My requirements are: Reaction times are important Don't care about the microphone (i'd prefer if you can dettach it or stow it away) Pretty Good surround sound Doesn't burn a hole in my pocket If you have any suggestion on other cheap headsets as well, then let me know. Thanks!

Almost a year ago I had bought a SteelSeries Arctis 5 headphone. The 5 comes with a pretty long cable, ( I think almost 3 meters long). Any normal person would think that the cable is good and that it is some kind of premium quality, "special" long cable, but that is not the case at all. The cable that I got torn apart and got unusable after a few weeks and I had to order another one. I have tried to get some help on their Reddit, "unfortunately" it got removed for no reason by one of the moderators. The Images below are real. If you want to buy a new cable, you have to at least spend 10 euros on the pack. Although the cable of the Arctis 5 is much worse than horrible, the headphone it self is great. It has a good mic, and beautiful LED lights. Just to be clear I did use the cables as it was intended to be. I did not stretch or did anything else with it. UPDATE: The cable that I bought a few months ago torn apart, not as much as the last one, but it still did.

I use my Arctis 7 wired via 3.5mm audio jack and I just got an Xbox Series S and used my headset just fine on there, but when I connected it back to my PC my microphone levels were very low. I have gone into sound control panel and checked those (they were my usual settings) and any other things I found on youtube. It works just fine wirelessly but the problem is my PC has 2 USB A ports and I use a (very cheap) powered usb hub that cannot power my mouse, keyboard, and transmitter at the same time, and I use the other for my games external hard drive. The simple but somewhat costly solution would be to get a better usb hub but I came here to see if I could save my money and maybe fix this free of charge. Have any of you had this problem and can I fix this?

Hey everyone, I'm making this post because I've had a few issues with said mousepad, and also to leave a feedback about it, in case my posts comes up in Google searches. Pros: Beautiful lighting Easy to use software Many sizes Cons: Cleaning the mouse pad is hard. The RGB plastic pipe around the mousepad will cause a lot of problems that require crazy solutions. I cleaned my mousepad once and apparently I stretched the cloth when brushing it (brushing from the middle to the edges). That lead to the plastic pipe losing its form and bending on two spots. Two months passed and it didn't get his form back. I had to cover it with a towel and iron it 3-4 times (thanks Reddit). This particular cloth accumulates very very much dust and sweat. The area under my mouse feels sluggish. When I pass my mouse above that area it slows down, like it's wet (it isn't). The mousepad is definitely not made for people with sweaty hands. My hands barely sweat, but it's enough to ruin the mouse pad. Prior to this mousepad I've used a Corsair MM200 Extended (also cloth surface) which gathered far less dust and far less sweat. I've used it for 6 years and I didn't have any issues at all with it. I could throw it in the bathtub, brush it clean, hang it to dry, and it would be clean as new. It never lost its form. The rubber underneath the mousepad isn't very 'sticky'. Pushing my keyboard around (adjusting it), pushes the mousepad as well. Huge no-no. Just for reference I use a SteelSeries Apex 7 keyboard without it's wrist rest. I have a Glorious Padded Keyboard Wrist Rest - Stealth Edition so that I can easily adjust the keyboard without moving the wrist rest around, plus it's softer. There's a guide about how to 'properly' clean Prism mousepads. They should warn you to be careful with brushing though. Don't brush it too hard, because it might stretch the mousepad and the RGB pipes will lose their form.

Hi all I have had this issue once or twice before but the solution I used last time I cannot find anywhere :/. Audio is only playing through the Arctis 7 Chat device, when I test the chat device, the audio plays, but when I test the game device nothing happens. This seems to have happened randomly as yesterday my audio had no issues through these headphones. Another issue correlating with this is that youtube appears to have stopped working, freezes when I play a video, leading me to believe there might be some sort of driver issue? Thanks

The latest patching of the SteelSeries Engine that is used to control the configuration of their hardware now updates you to the new GG system which includes a whole new pile of not useful software. Now including more ads and giveaway that just add to the bloat. It installs more things like discord, as if you didn't have it already if you wanted it. A clips software called Moments, where most video cards already offer a better product. A software scanning tool to configure auto configure them and likely record which ones you have on your system and how much time you send playing them. It also now requires you to login to register your products, something you shouldn't have to do all the time if you are interested in just filling out warranty information at the time of purchase. It is measurably slower to load than the previous engine only version, which I feel was still more than it needed.

So, im thinking of getting a new headset when i manage to earn another $100 so my budget would be $300 as im tired of using a wired one due to the caveats it brings. I was also wondering if i should just save up to buy a 1440p, 144hz monitor fopr $500 or just get the wireless headset for $300? And if so, i was wondering if 1440p was worth it or a wireless headset is more. (Note im still saving up) For headset just need $100, whilst monitor $200 Also if possible, please list some headset options or monitor options (Australian Dollars)

Hi LTT Forums, I recently upgraded my 2019 Arctis 7 to the Arctis 7+ Edition that is just meant to be the same with some battery, USB C and comfort upgrades however I am feeling like I got a complete downgrade. Mic sidetone on my old 7 was at medium and perfect, on the 7+ on just low it is far too loud and backgroundy noise turning to a soft hazy static. Trying to tune any mic settings in the software or anything doesn't seem to change the sidetone mic either. Using the global volume wheel on my device to turn it down and then windows audio up works but is a bad workaround esp if the wheel was to get knocked or such. The equalizer isn't really something I touch but now it goes up in 0.5 steps versus my old Arctis 7 went up in 0.1 steps. Lastly the software, with my old Arctis 7 it showed as 2 audio output devices and 1 mic without needing any stupid software on, but with the 7+ you NEED to enable "Sonarr" and when you do it adds 3 more audio devices on top of the normal one and another mic too, which turns my audio setup into a huge messy list when taking into account steam speakers and my desktop speakers. This device literally feels like a downgrade, am I missing something, my MAIN issue is the sidetone as I can "deal" with a messy audio output list even though I didn't have to before. But very tempted to figure out how to return stuff to amazon and instead buy a logitech headset.

Hi, Recently, I got new headphones that are yet to be delivered. Steelseries Arctis 7+. One thing about them is that their wireless dongle is type-C. The problem I have is that neither my case nor my motherboard have a type-C female port. I plan to use these headphones with an OTG connector, USB type C female to type A male connector for the wireless dongle. I understand this is not the optimal way to use them but my real question is wether this will cause any problems such as input lag and audio signal loss since these are wireless headphones. My primary use is gaming and video editing. I have also had some plans to update my PC case, now I'm specifically looking for one that has a type C front panel port. Would using an OTG be just as good or should I make the case switch as soon as I can? Any help is appreciated. My motherboard: Gigabyte B550 gaming X Thanks!
