Looking for a mouse on the lighter side, for FPS gaming. I prefer a palm grip and have medium to large hands. Sniper button is a must. Coming from a MX Master 3 which I use day to day (yes i know playing any games with it is a big mistake). Id like a mouse I would only use for gaming. Open to trying a honeycomb style mouse. Wired or wireless doesn't matter, it will only be used for CSGO and a few other games. Thanks in advance.

http://www.gamestar.de/videos/sniper-ghost-warrior-3-shooter-oder-softporno-story-video,92222.html Translated using Google Translate: "We recently had the opportunity to play an almost finished version of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 . For the first time there were also real scenes from the story. But even in the first cutscene we asked quite fast, is this still a shooter or have we got into the middle of the opening of a porn scene?" I don't know if nsfw ;p

Hello fellas, Here is the thing... I have 4x4 GSkill Sinper RAMs running in a Win7 Pro OS. They run at 1600 mhz in BIOS but then when I reach Windows they are running at 800mhz. The million dollar question is ..... WHY? The more useful question is... what can I do to fix it? For more details about my RAM please check the image. Thanks in advance.

Hi. I'm thinking on adding more Memory Ram on to my build, but i have this doubt: i'm currently using 2x4gb rams from Gskill (Sniper), in one channel. ¿Should i buy 2 more of the same brand or it's possible to add from a different one, with the same specs?

Hello there awesome LTT people. So, I'm new to CS:GO (so noob :P) . Currently CR8 Rank. Today, while I was playing I was kicked out of the session because I was using SCAR-20 by my own CT team. Most of the time, I got MVP and got most kills. The CT players tried to kick me for 3-4 times but not enough players voted. I asked for reason. They said I was noob and I use automatic sniper rifle. I got so much hate for that. I'm not firing some shitty words out of my mouth here. It's just my opinion. Well, if you're an expert or trying to be expert why do people use AWP it usually kills with in one shot? Take a pistol, go near enemy and shoot like a man infront of the enemy while he shoots you with SG 553. If I'm a noob, why people use an AUG or a SG 553 or any scoped automatic rifle? It has a scope and it's automatic. It usually kills within 3 or 4 shots if aimed correctly, if pointed at head, it'll kill within 2 shots. Same way I used SCAR-20. What's wrong? Why I was called being noob here. If I'm noob, you people shouldn't use AUG, SG 553, AWP. Use pistols like P250, P2000, USP, Glock and rifles like FAMAS and SSG 08. I think people who use AWP and calls me noob, should use SSG 08. It's a perfect weapon for them. It doesn't kill people usually within one shot. This is just ridiculous. I don't agree with them. Ofcourse, I used AWP before I was continuously using SCAR-20. But SCAR-20 is much better, but lack any ability to stay on target half the time. But, imo it's better than AWP. This is just my opinion guys. Also, I was on Casual. They kicked me for this reason. This is just... I don't agree. Don't kill me CS:GO EXPERTS.

Okay, so today i decided that I was gonna swap out the already installed op amp for the one that they shipped with the motherboard. Everythign went well, but, I don't seem to notice the difference. I tried googling what exactly the OP Amp does, but didn't find anything, just got more confused than before. I remember though, it's like supposed to change the way the audio sounds, but as I didn't notice, I thought i was mistaken. Lastly, if I wanted to change it for a different one, would any OP Amp that I can find on the internet work, or would it have to be a specific one?

Hello forum, I have a question. I currently have a dual channel ddr3 8gb G.Skill Ripjaws-X set up and I was wanting to upgrade to 16gb. Link- http://www.msy.com.au/viconline/pc-components/9644-gskill-ripjaws-x-8g-kit4gx2-ddr3-1600-f3-12800cl9d-8gbxl.html for my first question- could I just add a single 8GB dim to my mobo to make it a triple channel or would it be better to purchase another dual channel kit? i want to do this because later down the track if i need more ram, i have 1 free slot that i can use to add another 8gb. Link to what i was thinking http://www.msy.com.au/viconline/pc-components/9637-gskill-ripjaws-x-8gb-single-ddr3-1600-f3-12800cl10s-8gbxl.html Another question- i decided on my colour scheme after i built my pc (I know, how stupid) and bought red ram when my colour scheme is now green. could i add the GSkill Sniper because its black and keep my old ram in there. this means that i have red and black ram in my pc. but it is from the same brand so i think it should work. Thanks heaps in advance!!! Rhyalex pc specs- asrock z87 extreme 4 i7 4770k gskill ripjaws x dual channel 1600 8gb

Good Morning, I bought this set of 2 x 4GB DDR3 ram for my build.G.Skill Sniper F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2. It works fine, however I cannot set it up to run at 1600 MHz. This is my build: Mobo : Asus H97i-Plus CPU: Intel Pentium anniversary edition G3258 Ram : G.Skill Sniper F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR2 PSU : Fractal Design Fractal Design Integra M 550W Case : SilverStone Sugo Series SG13 Black Mini ITX Case Coolling : Stock Storage : Kingston SSD Now 300V 240 GB OS : Windows 8.1 @64 bit. As per documentation, this should run at 1600 MHz. However it is running at 1333. This Is what I ‘ve done: Went into Bios and set XMP to Profile 1. It displays DDR3 1333 9-9-9-24. I can see it runs at 1333 using Speccy software. Went into Bios, disable XMP and manually selected DDR3 1600MHz. all remaining settings as Auto. The Bios displays Ram targeted speed : 1600. The PC boots into windows but speccy and Asus AI3 keep saying it is running at 1333. G.Skill website says it is compatible with my mobo. Does anyone know how to make it run at 1600 MHz or perhaps there is something wrong with the modules? Regards, Mario.

WOOHOO! Hopefully, overclocking is retained. I have had experience with the sniper b5, and that could OC pretty well. Let's see if the features are still there for b85 to overclock devil's canyon CPUs. AND, it'l look good with nvidia's reference design 970/980 coolers and allow users to finally have a green and black color scheme once more. Edit: Source: http://www.techpowerup.com/205517/gigabyte-announces-g1-sniper-b6-socket-lga1150-motherboard.html Perhaps the only negative is that you won't get all the Z97 chipset features, but who cares? GREEN IS BACK BABY!

Hello all! So my question is pretty much the title... Is the built in Motherboard cooling on the G1.Sniper 5 any good? It matches my color scheme, while the Maximus Formula doesn't. Thanks all!

To start some specs: - mobo: G1.Sniper Z87 (rev 1.1) - cpu: i5 4670k (running stock) - mem: 8GB G.Skill Sniper DDR3 1866 MHz (running @ 1600MHz) - psu: Corsair AX860 - gpu: GTX 780Ti - storage: Samsung 250GB 840 EVO SSD + Seagate 2TB + 3TB - os: Windows 8.1 Alright, first of all I'm running my memory at 1600MHz. That's what my mobo automatically set it at. When I manually set it to 1866MHz, I get instability by way of "insufficient memory" pop-up in Windows. Also to make note, I was getting these errors from playing games like Hawken and Castlevania:LOS. But these two 4GB sticks are advertised at 1866MHz, yet out of box run best at 1600MHz. Seems a bit strange to me, can't be right can it? (Solved by PassionFruit) But, I'm still getting more "insufficient memory" pop-ups than I'd like running 8GB @ 1600MHz. I've noticed that I'll get these pop-ups when I run MAGIX Movie Editor Software 2014 and DayZ. The video software I can understand since it's video editing software. But, software specs say recommended memory size is 4GB with a min of 1GB. I'm running 8GB, but I understand the "standard" for an editing rig should be 16GB. But still, should I be getting "insufficient memory" windows from just editing 10-20 mins of video with no sound, minor color correction and small simple transitions? With DayZ Standalone, yeah it's beta and I'm sure there are memory leaks or unoptimised and it's really the only game I had errors with. Although just today (March 2nd, 2014), I got the memory errors with a total system crash just from downloading Assassin's Creed 4 and Far Cry: Blood Dragon. That's all I had open! Ubisoft's Uplay to download these two games and crash?? That just doesn't add up. I've also noticed that when I have just windows open, like from a fresh boot, 30-50% of my memory is already taken up. I feel like I'm having some strange memory things going on and just want to reach out to the forum to see if anyone has run into anything like this. I was thinking about getting different memory from a different company to see if there is any change, but that won't be for another week. Any help would be great, thanks ~

Hey there peeps! Complete Imgur album: http://imgur.com/a/xKauZ#0 (the photos do get better) This log is for my Desk build. I started building in February shortly after the forum was created when I decided I HAD to try be featured on the Livestream. Was originally thinking of building a small cube case from scratch but it didn’t take me long to change to a desk build when I was having trouble drawing up sketches because I didn’t have enough desk space to work on! I built my current desk in high school with built in 2.1 speakers to suit a laptop but is far too cramped for me now days. Here is what I'm up too ATM Learning of the L3p Desk was the final inspiration to kick me into gear! It was a beautiful piece of art, absolutely impractical for my situation, but beautiful & inspiring none the less. Through this whole forum iv been inspired and gained knowlege and ideas, from other PC & desk builds, case modding section and everywhere, many of which iv implemented. This is an awesome forum, love this community! The Monolith Has been designed for MY needs. I need more desk space, a fileing cabinet, more drawers and an awesome looking PC! Its also designed to house everything I could ever want in my computer with excessive watercooling along with working space & considerable storage. While I’ve done some modding to my Ute, the only PC modding I’ve done is adding a switch for cathodes to my front panel, haven't even touched custom water cooling in my life. IV delayed posting until now, but I’m confident with my skillz & the help of the forum I will finish this build. I think I’ll be naming it the Monolith for 2 main reasons. 1st its Freeking huge and cumbersome like the Necron Monolith from Dawn of War Dark Crusade but wreck balls when it gets there! DOW-DC was the first Computer game I ever got stuck into as a kid and once built I intend this to be a beast of a machine once funds allow it. Also the intended colour scheme is much like the monolith, Black with epic Green throbbing all through it. I love Green, it’s my favourite colour. =D Monolith also sounds epic! It wont be completed for quite some time with the water cooling coming later down the road. It’s designed to fit two Nexxxos Monsta 480 Rads in push pull & 2 regular 240 rads off the bat along with a few other mounting options. End result will be along the lines of dual GPU's, SSD's, sound card, capture card, all of the ram & everything thoroughly watercooled, and lit up like a stylish Christmas tree. It’s just a matter of cash determining when this happens. I have chosen to build the desk from wood, basically because that’s what I can work with. I’m an apprentice builder and have the tools for woodworking and I want this to be as much done by me as possible, so laser cutting was not a viable option. I’m using MDF because I knew I’d be painting it, it’s cheap, easy to obtain whenever required & easy to work with. It is however heavy, dusty & not the most durable. In hind sight I wish I chose a different timber but I’m soldering on none the less. Here is where im up to ATM. The desk is constructed, just waiting on a few little tings to finish it off and bring it inside from the shed with computer bits (orgasmick computer bits) hopefully ariving this week! So keep tuned! All the photos I take are uploaded to an Imgur album: http://imgur.com/a/xKauZ#0 This includes everything involved in the process that I photograph such as testing, painting, cutting, construction and products. I will post what I feel the most important and relevant on this thread but it’s all there for whoever wants it along with individual photo descriptions. Photos are takes with an IPhone 4 to begin with but from now on with a HTC One. I also intend to borrow a decent camera at some point for some decent shots, maybe even a pro photo shoot once I’m done. Le saw bench, Inspited by Linus Ghetto Tips :) The MB tray First construction Rebating Mock up Fan cutouts How the MB tray Fits, cables are layed under the tray. Green stuff will be UV Front pannel cutout & frame constructed Power & Led button Cutting in the primer All primed Blaaaaaack Checkerplate back plate for mounting Rads & PSU Constructing drawers Fileing Drawer HTC One Begins here... Drawers are Fitted. Theyre unpainted because im not sure what colour im going to do them, they can be taken out and painted later. Began setting out drawer faces So this is what im up to so far. This is a few months work so progress is slow. Ill update when iv got a decent chunk more work to showoff.

is there really a difference between the G.Skill Ripjaws Memory and the G.Skill Sniper?

Hey Guys! Currently building in a Corsair 350d Planned for Dual SLI with EVGA GTX 760 SC 2GB on the Gigabyte Sniper M5 I ran into some issues when i had to install the 2nd card in the bottom of the case. The graphics card is bumping into the front panel connectors - they are too tall. (by 2 mm or something like that) putting force on it, won't help. Does anybody have any suggestions on what i should, other than returning the graphic cards, or the motherboard? Are certain extenders available? Thank you!

Hi Guys! I'm currently in search for a new pair of headphones. I listen to a lot of music and play a fair amount of fps. I currently have the Megalodon from Razer which i was quite satisfied with. I have a Gigabyte g1.sniper m5 motherboard which has a great on-board sound source that i want to take advantage of. The aesthetics of the headset are for some reason preferably black(and green scheme) My question now is what do i wanna get? 7.1 virtual, regular jacks. What will take advantage of the good sound on the motherboard? What are your opinions? budget is around a 100$

Hi all, I'm looking to buy a new mobo this week and there are 3 boards that really jump out at me so far: $165 - Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128723&cm_re=gigabyte_z97-_-13-128-723-_-Product $175 - Gigabyte GA-G1.Sniper Z97: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128706&cm_re=G1.Sniper_Z97-_-13-128-706-_-Product $240 - ASUS Maximus VII Hero: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132125&cm_re=z97_asus-_-13-132-125-_-Product The UD3H-BK has a nice 5 year warranty and seems very reliable with the 168 hours of server burn in tests The G1.Sniper is a standard 3 year warranty but seems like it has really awesome onboard Audio features, The Hero VII is one of those boards that just looks totally tits and seems to have a ton of great features BUT it is more than I'd like to fork out on a mobo and is it really worth the premium I would pay for it? What do you guys think about these boards or maybe there is something else in the $150 - $200 range you guys think would be more suitable? I do like the Black/Red themes as it would fit the rest of my rig nicely but it's not necessarily a deal breaker, I use a single gpu GTX 670 (waiting on 8XX series), 4770k, H100i, 16gb ram. I've always used ASUS but I've heard good things about Gigabyte.

Just to name a few features, USB 3.1 with Type-C, PCIe Gen3 x2 M.2 connector with up to 32Gb.s Data Transfer (PCIe NVMe & SATA SSD support), 3 SATA Express connectors, 115dB SNR HD Audio with Built-in Rear Audio Amplifier. Personally I really like the G1.Sniper series of motherboards since they were always different and unique compared to what is offered in the market today. Most often times we see red and black associated with high-end boards or boards that are marketed towards gamers. Source
