Hello everybody, Lately I have been having an issue with my PC that makes gaming impossible. (at least somewhat taxing games, 2d sprite games seem to work just fine) After gaming a couple of minutes my internet will stop working and I hear the 'USB disconnected' sound. After a few seconds the game will crash. I think it started somewhere around this summer but was hard to pinpoint when it would crash, the last few weeks it has gotten worse, to the point where I can't play any games at all. I have the feeling that whenever it gets somewhat warm (20 C+) in the room it starts to act up (in summer when AC was not on it would crash, if it was on it wouldn't. And now the heating is on and it starts to act up) But this could also be my imagination. When the "crash" happens I can still use my PC. When I try to restart/shut down my PC it gets stuck and stays on the "shutting down" screen. Forcing shut down and then rebooting causes the PC to not boot at all (motherboard is giving red and orange light). After waiting a while it will boot fine. Event Viewer gives me these errors; Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller has a Hardware IO error. Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz : Has encountered an internal error and has failed. Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz : The network adapter has returned an invalid value to the driver. Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz : Has determined that the network adapter is not functioning properly. (also had 'Gameinput service stops working' popping up but that should have now been resolved by deleting the old one; https://www.reddit.com/r/WindowsHelp/comments/18bb6e0/gameinput_service_stops_working_after_windows_11/) Specs: MB: ROG strix 570-E CPU: Ryzen 5900x PSU: Seasonic 1000 watt GPU: 3080 TUF Did a CPU stress test, this went fine (over half an hour of testing). Did a GPU stress test and the issue (crash) occured within several minutes. Does anyone have a clue what the issue is here?

I was cleaning up some old vitual ethernet adapters from my pc way too late in the evening and did something bad, do not remember what excacly. Now I cannot figure out even where to start. when I connect a laptop to the same port on my router, it works just fine. I did the network "factory reset " in windows, ir fixed nothing. Where do I even start troubleshooting? I have updated the drivers. The reaaltek ethernet adapter does not show up in ipconfig

Hi community, i hope you all have a nice holiday. As you know christmas is family IT support time. Because of this i now got an old Fujitsu Lifebook S760. It was replaced by a new notebook and now i can play with the old one. At first i wanted to reinstall the system at time of release (Windows 7 Pro). My goal is to have a working retro pc for some old software. Everything works fine. Except: The device's speakers are not working. I installed every driver from the Fujitsu support page specifically filtered for my device's serial number. The Realtek High Definition Audio Driver also shows up in the installed progams list. For unknown reasons the audio only works when I connect the notebook over HDMI with a monitor with built-in speakers. Then everything is fine. How can i get the internal notebook speakers to work? Specs: Fujitsu Lifebook S760 Windows 7 Professional, 64 Bit Realtek High Definition Audio Driver ALC269, Version 6.0.1.5911 (08/17/2009) (installed and visible in all-programs-list) Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD, Version 8.15.10.2025 (12/18/2009) In the attachments you can find screenshots. Hey everybody, I was using discord yesterday with some friends, and, out of nowhere my mic stopped working. I tried everything I know, I updated my drivers and also rolled them back, I disabled and enabled the mic from device admin, tried switching from rear to front panel, tried another mic just to check and it also didn´t work. In one of my tries, when I disabled and enabled the device it started to work as normal but it got cutoff again after 5 seconds, and everytime I test the mic I only hear static and sometimes my voice but also after a couple of seconds it cuts off to silence. I looked through the internet and have encountered people who have the same problem but solved it updating the drivers. My motherboard is a gigabyte H470M H and my headset is a Hyperx cloud stinger. Oh, and I tried switching some things from the realtek interface but it doesn´t really change anything. I hope somebody has an idea of what the problem is or at least some solution, I´d be very thankful for it.

Hi, I want to reset Windows because my pc is slow. Should I install audio driver and LAN drivers (motherboard website) ? I always install this driver but I wonder if it's usless or not. Yes, I install the chipset driver from the AMD website + nvidia driver.

Hello. I'm having a certain issue here that I am trying to address. One of my PCs has a Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H, which according to official sources has a Realtek 8111F-VL network chip, which supports Gigabit ethernet. My Internet plan provides me with 500 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload (actually, it reaches up to 700/100). But only this PC does not go past 80 Mbps download and 80 Mbps upload. Ethernet switch: TP-Link TL-SG1005D Ethernet cable: CAT6 I tested this cable on another computer and it achieved 700/100 with no issues. I tested another cable on this computer and it's still limited to 100 Mbps. I tried the following drivers: Generic, installed by Windows 10 (which seemed to be enough for the other PCs); Available on the motherboard's page (which is a bit old); Available on this unofficial Realtek website. I already disabled all power saving settings available on the Device Manager, set to 1 Gbps and Auto Negotiation etc, nothing worked. Curiously, the download is limited to 80 Mbps and not 100 Mbps, why? I don't know whether this is relevant, but the motherboard in question has two issues: all USB 2.0 ports do not work, and it never turns off (it restarts instead). The second PCI-E x16 slot is already occupied by a PCI-E x1 to 4 USB 3.0 ports controller, so having to use the first PCI-E x16 with a Gigabit ethernet network card as well would not be favorable. Hi everyone, I recently upgraded my PC (from an ancient FX-8350) and replaced the motherboard to MSI B550-A Pro, which uses Realtek ALC892/ALC897 audio. In my setup, I have front and rear speakers, each pair connected to the rear motherboard audio connectors by a individual minijacks. I downloaded the correct audio drivers and software for my motherboard from MSI and can set quadrophonic sound, but the rear speakers operate as a single channel - ie. no matter if the sound is supposed to come out of left or right rear speaker, it is played by both. Front speakers work correctly. This wasn't an issue on my previous card. I also tried using default Windows audio drivers, but then there's no output to rear speakers at all. Then there's the second problem of significant audio delay on those rear speakers. Speaker fill enhancement (which uses all speakers when playing something that would normally only use stereo) is virtually unusable. Again, I had no issue with the same speakers on my old motherboard. Any ideas or workarounds? I'll try to see if it works under Linux later today.

My laptop (Acer Aspire 7 A715-42g) volume control stop working, it won't adjust just on and off, this happened to me long ago and the fix that I discovered was just to reinstall Realtek audio driver. I downloaded thee driver from acer website and install it, it prompted me to restart itt would turn on and I would hear the windows welcome music however after I logged in the setup wizard of Realtek runs and uninstall my driver and tried to reinstall again. This cycle would just repeat again and again

Ok so, I was trying to update my realtek drivers and then an error popped up and insta crashed. Then i had to restart my pc, and 1)My headset and Mic doesn't work 2)I now can't find my headset's mic on the sounds tab. Btw I tried reinstalling the drivers like 3 times but it would just not work pls help

Hello people, First, a prelude: As an unwitting owner of a laptop with the much maligned Realtek 8821AE WIFI chip, much like most of you I ran into certain issues. Disconnects, hangs/slowdowns of the whole machine while apparently it's not doing much, inability to connect back to any 5Ghz network if I choose to manually select a network and God forbid click the 'Disconnect' button, etc., etc. I am Windows 10, updated with the latest driver from the manufacturer's website. No amount of clean installs or solutions online worked, aside from maybe using a very old driver which may or may not have performance issues too. Unfortunately, the new drivers have been uploaded to MS servers so Windows Update kindly gives them back to you. Somewhere while looking online for this for the N-th time I stumbled on some linux forums stating they too have issues, one comment of which stood out to me - PCI bus and timing issues. *insert gears moving gif* There is a particular tool called MSI mode utility v3 (*LINK*, read the thread if you have the time, its interesting and you will context for what you are doing) which allows you to easily switch between INT and MSI interrupt modes for devices on PCI lanes. By default, drivers and hardware decide which to use - WIFI chips use MSI mode (newer, better), while some GPUs still use INT mode (older, currently somewhat simulated, more compatible). Lo and behold, no more issues! For good measure, I disabled the capability of the WiFi chip to sleep too, but that by itself had no effect earlier, so the real solution is INT mode. No more hangs, no more 5Ghz issues and I can switch networks in peace. TL;DR: I switched the 8821AE from MSI mode to INT mode using the tool from the link above and this SOLVED things for me! (pic included) This is not a very small change and is reversible and is essentially a small registry tweak. It should not break your system. Still, you do this at your own risk. Comment below with your results.

Hi. I finished my pc build today. In my B660M-A Pro WiFi, front panel audio wasn't working (it wasn't even detecting) which is connected to JAUD1 on motherboard. I tried everything. Tried reconnecting wire/cable two times. And didn't seem driver issue. (The rear audio ports which are built on motherboard itself on - worked as expected though, they had no issues. Just front panel case audio had issue). Finally, out of nowhere I tried remove it and plug in again one last time and it worked. It's working so far after that. However, I really don't think I made a poor connections earlier. So could it be the poor cable (that is connected to front panel of my pc case and which is plugged on motherboard JAUD1 pins)? Some manufacturing issue in the cable itself? Also, earlier I thought it could be faulty motherboard. But now that it has worked at least for now, is there still any possibility that it's actually motherboard JAUD1 pins (that particular portion on motherboard) is faulty? Which may work sometimes and may not sometimes? The motherboard is still under 3 days replacement policy from shop. Not sure it's worth to send it for replacement. Especially when it seems working for now. I don't know what to do. If I don't go for replacement now and it turns out later that it's JAUD1 faulty, I would regret that I didn't replace it under replacment policy. Kindly share your views. -
So i have MSI B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard. If i plug Aux cables (mic, sound), it started spamming plugged in/out. I have tried both Audio drivers that are on MSI B540 Tomahawk Max website. One thing is, if i play any sound, i see green bars moving up/down but there are no sound in headphones, or in speakers, both speakers and headphones are fine, tested on other devices. What could be the reason? Is the Audio hardware on the motherboard is defective or what should be the cause? (tried both, front and back jacks) I have tried driver reinstall/uninstall and all those stuff that are on google. Any luck?

Hi! I have a problem with the sound. I have a 5.1 speakers and when Nahimic installed it got over and can't open real teak audio console to manage the speakers or 5.1, a terrible stereo sound is coming out from Nahimic anyone know how can i manage the speakers and use 5.1 like it was before. Hi, I'm trying to update my WIFI, LAN and audio drivers on my mobo. I tried with armory crate and the progression bar stops at 55% and stays there for hours. Stopping the installation also freeze at 90% of the way. I downloaded the drivers from Asus and ran them manually. The installs completes with no messages but the versions number don't change in Armory crate. Before I go apesh!t and waste a day patching this, has any of you ever run into this trouble ? Specs in my sig, I run McAfee, I got no choice, I work from home and the security team requires it. I did tried to install while disabling the Active scan.

Hi, I recently bought a new motherboard (Asrock b365m) and my front and rear audio ports aren’t working. I’ve installed the latest drivers, checked if everything is plugged in correctly, booted linux mint to see if it’s not windows problem. I have no idea what to do next. Btw, my hdmi audio works but I need my mic for online classes.

Hi all, I have been dealing with this issue for a while now and I've finally had it. Whenever I play games such as Dark Souls 3 or Metro Las Light Redux, my audio never seems to function properly. To actually hear anything such as bullets firing or people giving essential audio, I have to angle my character as if their ear is right next to the NPC's mouth. It's really annoying but this issue doesn't tranfer to games such as Overwatch or Rising Storm. I have no idea what the root of the problem is but it's been bugging me like crazy. Thanks! I have the Realtek audio driver installed as well as some standard HyperX Cloud 2 headphones.

I was having some issues with realtek so I uninstalled my driver's and reinstalled them which fixed the issue however then I couldn't open Realtek audio device manager so I repeated the process I uninstalled and installed again but it still didn't work so I uninstalled my driver's and Realtek audio device manager reinstalled the drivers but it didn't install Realtek audio device manager and I can't find a individual download got for it

Hey, I'm using the aorus pro z390 (not Wi-Fi) with Realtek on a windows 10 pro, and when I connect any headphones or speaker to the front or rear input I can see that windows detect a new device but I can't hear anything. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall Realtek's latest driver and also the windows troubleshooter but both of these tries were a failure. I'd be happy if someone could help me with that issue. Hi all, I've spent the last few days trying to get 5.1 surround properly working windows 10 to my old Toshiba Home Theater system. I've used moded Realtek drivers, the windows drivers and even my SB G6, I've changed Chrome shortcut properties, I've switched back and forth between DTS and Dolby, and I've spent hours browsing through forums hoping to find a solution that works...No luck tbh. I have got 5.1 working but the problem with the way it was done is, it would never fill the center and rear channels, even with dolby surround fill settings, it would only play 2.1 (or 2.0 with the internal HT crossover to the sub I'm guessing). Then I figured my Sound Blaster would be able to send 5.1, but apparently windows won't send 5.1 over USB. I've tried using the basic Windows drivers as suggested to one person in a forum using the 3.5mm surround jacks on their mobo, but that wouldn't work either. So what is it that I'm missing why is it I can't have surround audio over optical WITH surround fill unless I switch back and forth between stereo and surround. Is it a problem with my receiver, my mobo, drivers, hell the color of my shirt? Would I need separate plugins or programs to resolve the issue? If these are even relevant: Z87 maximus VI ROG hero, 2.82 Realtek driver( moded and unmoded variants), Windows version 2004, Toshiba SD-V55HT. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Helloo, I have a 5.1 audio system which works in general, but not on my current configuration from god knows what reason, and that's why I'm here, to get some help. The audio system is a Genius SW-5.1 3000, motherboard is a Gigabyte B550i Aorus Pro AX. OS is Windows 10 Pro 19042.906 . I configured it in "mmsys.cpl" to a 5.1 surround, I pressed Test and everything works. I opened YouTube, I hit Play on my Playlist, and surprise, it only works in Stereo (Front Left and Front Right Speakers). No Center/Subwoofer, no Rear Speakers. Tried a couple of games and in some seems to be working, but other than that... no. Before upgrading the computer, I used a Dedicated Audio Card, Asus Xonar, and I used to have surround everywhere. Reinstalled my drivers after doing a clean uninstall of them, but the problem persists. Installed Realtek Audio Console to have more control, but no luck with it. Played a bit with the settings in Audio Console and I found a few things: if I activate Bass Management, then the subwoofer works but it's tied to the front speakers. If I test them, the subwoofer makes sound as well. if I activate and Environment effect, then the subwoofer makes a bit of sound. Just barely. if I assign every port to Front Speakers and change the Speaker Configuration to Stereo, then every speaker will work but it will become tied to the front speakers. Bellow you can see how I assigned my Back Panel. I tried switching them around but it still doesn't work. I'm totally out of ideas.

I'm having a major audio issue, I use hyperx clouds on a B460-M a pro motherboard intergrated audio with the latest realtek drivers. For some reason a few weeks ago my audio quality became really bad at default settings. i've changed my format from default 48000hz at 24bits to 192000hz at 24bits and that solved the bad audio issue, hovewer it created another - even worse issue. Whenewer i restart my pc there's no audio at all - only on headphones, the bulit-in monitor speakers still work just fine. I then have to restore audio settings to default and reboot again, then change back to 192000hz and it works unitl i reboot. I did a clean windows 11 install hoping it would solve the problem - it didn't. Please help

Hey, I'm having a bunch of issues with Nvidia broadcast (RTX Voice) and Realtek Audio. I have a new Acer Swift X model number SFX14-41G. When Nvidia broadcast is installed, the sound settings glitches out and prohibits you from switching the input or output devices and also causes Service Host: Local System and a few other services to use up to 50% of the CPU and keep the fans running loud. I have a temporary fix which involves deleting the current audio driver and installing an older version of the Realtek Audio driver. This fix undoes itself every so often when windows updates and reinstalls the newest driver, even though I tried to make it not do so in settings. I'm sure its not a Nvidia Broadcast issue since when I try to install other voice isolation or background noise reduction software such as Krisp, or any other that tries to switch the audio inputs or outputs, it gives these exact issues. Just did a new build and I want to plug my good old 5.1 home theater(3 jacks) but I haven't been able because I cannot configure it so that the 3 jacks work. On my old build I just had them plugged to a genius 7.1 card and it worked right away but can't use that card here because it's PCI and this mobo only has PCI-E. Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite V2. I have downloaded both available version of gigabyte's site. I've used app center to do it as well and nothing. I've tried Revo unninstaller. I have tried removing and reinstalling. Tried many drivers, tried videos, nothing works!! So please help!!! Going nutz lol. I've got nothing else to hear lol. Is it because i'm on windows 10 pro for workstations? does this version consume more resources? I'm really at the point of just uninstalling and triying an older version of windows... Haven't even gamed yet due to this thing driving me crazy. I went from a 4690 to this, shit is very smooth but this sound thing!!!
