(Yes I realize how petty and entitled this sounds but at this point I am desperate) PLEASE HELP! I upgraded my entire pc about a year ago, with the exception of my GPU, expecting to be able to get the new (at the time) 3070 Founders Edition. Of course, it has been scalped out of existence ever since it was released. I am currently running an Intel I7-9700k with 32 GB of RAM and am being bottlenecked so badly by my old GTX 1060 3GB, it's so sad. I am trying to raise money to buy an overpriced, scalped 3070. Please help a poor gamer out <removed by staff>

Hello I'm curious why the heck is my 4690k not overclocking to 4.9GHz at 1.33v nor 4.7GHz at 1.25v... I use to be able to do it with my Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 but since it died... Oops shocked it... I bought a ASUS Z97-A/USB3.1 Now I need to push the voltage to 1.37v in order to get a 4.7GHz OC and my motherboard won't allow it I also need to increase the power delivery settings or it won't even run stable... And the OC wasn't across all cores or it will BOSD... Why isn't my CPU OC to the original setting... I had it set before i killed my motherboard... Or is it me being stupid? IDK...

Hi You have helped me in the last too and I seek your advice again. My cpu is getting fucked for about 2 weeks now out of nowhere . It's stuttering like crazy. Cpu usage goes up and down from ,15% to 100% and pc shuts down itself . Most of this happens when I play csgo . Which worked fine before but one afternoon it just started stuttering. And the cpu now stutters in normal usage too like using chrome . I reinstalled steam , chrome , applied new thermal paste to the gpu and cpu. It still stutters. I'm thinking of buying the new ryzen cpu . ( With ram and Mobo of course) Pls give me some troubleshooting tips before I make my mind on buying the ryzen. If I do make my mind , pls advice me on a ryzen cpu , a Mobo and ram below 30000 INR. and pls try to slip in an SSD too. I just casually game and spend most of my time surfing the net. I am poor to be blunt and I just want to game on mid - high settings on 1080 p for at least 3-4 years on. Don't tell me to buy a new gpu pls . :'( My current config - And athlon x2 270 - yeah I know , I'm poor Mobo - ASRock 960 gcgsfx Gpu - xfx 7870 ghost 2gb ddr5 Psu- antec 500 something watt . Some case Hdd- 1tb wd green Ram - 8 gb Kingston dd3 (2x4) I have a great connection so that shouldn't be a problem . Thank you in advance guys

So I need you guys´ help! Since about a week, my PC has had immens issues running games and is generally performing worse than usual. PUBG for example normally runs at around 100-140 fps at 2560x1080p, Paladins at 150fps. Now PUBG runs below 70fps, sometimes going as low as 20fps. Same in Paladins and other games that usually run just fine. I´v since ran 3D mark, with a score of 6900ish points, which to me seemed normal. Temps are also not bad, both CPU and GPU are most of the time hovering around 60-70 degrees clecius (140-158 fahrenheit for you americans) A scan with malwarebytes also didn´t show anything suspicious, the workload on my CPU is also kind normal. Before this happened, I´ve updated windows and my grpahics drivers, but just yesterday I reinstalled my old gfx drivers, just to make sure. Nothing has improved, sadly. Maybe some of you also have/have had this problem, any help is deeply apprechiated

I just decided to install Windows 10 fresh on my Ubuntu laptop, as I can't be bothered to take my desktop PC to uni this year. I wanted to use this laptop for light gaming at uni, so I decided to run a low spec game, Hollow Knight. But I can barely get 30fps, with lots of stuttering/frame dips. My specs are: i3-4100M @ 2.5GHz HD graphics 4GB RAM Is my laptop really this cr*p? It's only a few years old.

Running the standard firestrike, im only reporting a 12.4k graphics score with my reference 980ti when i know other 980tis should be scoring way more than that. My temps are fine and clocks are reporting, and it is a new os with new drivers. I also noticed firestrike reported my 980ti's brand as hewlett packard..? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I am seeking a decent laptop setup with a 300$ max budget. I know little to nothing about pc's and what I can do to improve one, so here is what I am looking for. In general, I want to load games with around medium/high graphics settings. Nothing too powerful is needed, but I hope a setup I can afford can last me a few years until it will be too outdated to run new AAA titles. Games I play are mainly Overwatch, CS:GO, and Planet Coaster. Planet Coaster isnt much of a problem for me, but it could be better. I already have 8GB RAM, with 7.9 usable, so I believe I will be fine there. If someone can find anything that offers 12 or 16 GB, that will be much appreciated. According to friends and forums, my graphics card is awful, and I can understand that. The Graphics Card is the Intel (R) HD Graphics 520 , and I am looking for a much better one. I have found this one on newegg, which seems like a great offer: https://goo.gl/niMKXg (If anyone has one of these or knows of something better with a great price range, please notify me about this) My processor I am not aware of if it is in need of an upgrade. The processor I have now is an Intel i3-6100 running at 2.3GHz . Should I look into i5's or i7's? (My processor I just realized is a dual core, so I am wondering if it does or not. I have went into settings and have enabled all of them already, in case anyone was wondering.) I'm not sure if this does concern anyone, but I run Windows 10 with DirectX 12. My operating system is Lenovo and screen resolution is 1366x768. Another thing that has recently surfaced as a problem for me is my storage, as I only have about 13 GB left. What should I do about that. I would just like to remind people reading again that I have little knowledge about what I can do with this, and that I am trying to fit this all in a LAPTOP, but anyways, I hope that there are a few people out there who can help me out here.

I recently upgraded 3 main components in my PC as of this Christmas. As a result, Battlefield 1 has been running worse than before and I have no clue as to why. I've updated as many drivers as possible, turned off many background processes, I overclocked my new CPU, I even bought another stick of RAM with the money I had leftover from Christmas but nothing is working. With my old build, I could get around 50-60 FPS only medium settings, with the exception of Texture Quality and Texture Filtering, which were both on High. With my new parts, even if I put all the settings on Low, I'm barely cracking 40fps in the middle of any map. If anyone could give some insight on this, I'd really appreciate it. Old build: CPU: AMD FX 8350 @3.9GHz GPU: AMD RX 480 8GB MSI RAM: 2x4GB DDR3 2660MHz (unbranded) Motherboard: Gigabyte Tech. M68MT-S2 PSU: Rosewill 850W (I don't know the exact model yet) New build: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 @3.8GHz GPU: Same as before RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4 2400MHz Motherboard: ASRock AB350M-HDV PSU: Same as before

I have for the last couple months been dealing with an issue that has baffled not only me but Nvidia as well and Microsoft. Every game I play has terrible graphics quality including textures, no ambient occlusion, jagged edges, washed out colors etc. I am not only having this issue with my PC but another PC I also use. 1st PC - Asus maximus ix formula. - asus 1080 Ti strix OC. - 32 GB corsair vengeance rgb. - evga supernova G3 750w. - i7 7700K. - Windows 10 Home. 2nd PC - Asus maximus vii formula. - x2 Titan X sli (original titans). - 16 GB ripjaw. - Corsair 1000w. - i7 4790K. - Windows 10 Home. Now the things I have tried so far (Seems to be everything) - Reinstalled windows 10 numerous times. - Reinstalled Nvidia drivers numerous times. - Uninstalled all drivers using DDU numerous times. - Ran all windows 10 command Prompt checks (using administrator). - Installed numerous (older) Nvidia drivers. - Removed GPU and tried (5) different GPU's (Same visual issue with all). - Ran numerous anti-virus programs (I have no viruses but thought I would check anyway). - Called Nvidia who in the end blamed Microsoft and told me to call them. - Called Microsoft who in the end blamed Nvidia and told me to call them. ( Who would have though, right?) - Tried a 3440x1440 ultra wide monitor, 1920x1080 monitor and a 4K monitor, (No dice). - My Windows account is in administrator as well. - Trouble shooted everyting in windows troubleshooter. - Both PC's have new SSD's put in after issue occurred. I have no clue what to do at this point. Games run just fine like always but the graphics are terrible, change them all to ultra and looks as if nothing changed? I have been told "You're GPU could be bad", "Your motherboard could be bad". Funny thing is that both PC's started doing that at the same time, different components. The only things I can remember doing is trying out a new monitor, Windows updates, swapping out SSD's. My main PC, When I first noticed this I pulled out the SSD and put it in my other PC that didn't have an SSD yet, (was still in the process of being shipped) Just to see that my other PC doesn't have this issue, I was wrong! It was now showing the same terrible graphics as my main PC. I thought maybe the SSD was bad so I bought 2 new SSD's and installed them in both PC's and the problem still exists. I am at a loss for words..... If anybody has ANY idea what in the hell could be going on here, It would be a blessing!

So i run this test and how do i make the results better... it's kinda sad knowing its that bad. I was running CS while doing this test, could that have made the results worse?
