I have had problems with Bluetooth on my new motherboard, Earlier in the week I was able to connect bluetooth devices without any problem, but now it won't even let me turn on bluetooth in windows settings. Currently, I have: Checked for windows updates Tried installing drivers (MSI will not let me install the Bluetooth drivers) I have checked BIOS to make sure that the device is turned on and selected. I have gone through device manager and uninstalled both the wireless and the bluetooth drivers, and now the whole tab of bluetooth devices is no longer present I have used MSI center to try and scan for drivers Fresh Install of Windows I am currently at a loss for what I should do, I've already spent way to much time trying to figure out what the problem is. Trying to build my first pc, all the parts I got are compatible, plugged everything in and double checked them, tried starting it, and nothing happened. Before I started building I noticed the pins on my motherboard were at an angle and took this picture as it seemed odd I looked through my motherboards manual but couldn’t find anything for this, no leds turned on and no beep codes played, I tried reseating the graphics card and ram but nothing happened, anyone have any ideas as to what went wrong?

Hi! The system has 4 sticks of RAM , 8gb each, 2666mhz base and 3200mhz when in XMP profile1. The motherboard is a Gigabyte B550M DS3H rev 1.0, and I update the BIOS from f3 to f18 to address recent security issues. After updating, I noticed right way switching to profile 1 would no longer change the speed of the slots to 3200. I searched around and found a possible solution in this reddit thread. They said to reset the bios, turn off, pull the sticks out, and then put the first on the A2 slot, load the bios and then boot to windows, then turn off again put the second stick to the B2 slot, let windows load again. It worked perfectly for the first two sticks, but when I try the third it won't work anymore. Tried many combinations of sticks and slots with same results. Any ideas what I should do to fix it? Thanks

I have a old Asus X99-Pro board that has worked great for years. On the morning of Jun 23rd I discovered the machine restarted overnight and was stuck with post code 00. I tried restarting the machine multiple times and still had post code 00. None of the fans were spinning. I had a i7-5820K installed in the board when this happened. I updated my BIOS from 0401 to 3801 on June 16th to do a RAM upgrade. The machine had no issues after the update until Jun 23rd when this incident happened. Asus support said I had a dead CPU but I am not very confident in ASUS support due to my experience with a issue with a different board on my newer machine. I just installed a used Xeon E5-2683 v4 into the board that I got from a surplus seller on eBay. The new CPU is on the QVL list for my board. My board still has post code 00. I have tested this board with nothing installed in it and got post code 00. I also tried with only each CPU installed and still got post code 00. I also tried with a CPU and a single stick of RAM and still post code 00. In all of my testing I was not able to get the fans to spin. I do have the power and reset LEDs on my motherboard when my PSU is on. I have tried using USB Bios Flashback to install BIOS 0401 and 3801 on my board with no improvement. The bios flashback function appears to work but I still get post code 00. I am wondering if there are any other tests I can try? I do not want to spend $200 on a new X99 board but I am willing to spend money on tools (Like a PSU tester). My PSU is a Corsair RM750 so the PSU fans do not spin when I use a jumper on the PSU. I was able to power a CD drive with my jumped PSU. Any advise is appreciated.

motherboard: TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS (WI-FI) cpu: Ryzen 7 5800x3D current bios version: 2006 attempted bios version: 3404 I have flashed bios updates before and I am familiar with pc stuff. I followed all the correct steps. I have confirmed with the serial number on the box and have the correct bios update for my board. I extracted the compressed folder I got from Asus. I used the rename exe that comes with the bios installation folder. The usb drive is formatted with FAT32. I have also tried multiple drives and ports on my pc. Using EZ flash prompts me with the error msg "selected file is not a proper bios". When I use the flash port and button on the board it does not flash the bios. The only thing I have found on forums is to go through older versions one by one and see if that works. Does anyone have ideas of what I should do next? Thank you.

First I wanna say thank you for taking the time to read what I can only assume to be the worst dumpster fire of a situation, My pc’s mobo is a Prime z370-A, I used to run windows 10 pro and now on windows 11 because of the journey to madness, the reason I went from a utp cat 6 to a cat 8 flat is because of damage and common disconnecting due to the old cable, things I have tried to get the motherboard to notice the cable that is now connected consist of network resting, dns flushing, ip/dns release and renewing, updating the driver through the windows feature even tried to get the new ones from the manufacturer but to no use, and yes I did try turning it on and off again, oh there is also the method from bios where I tried the onboard devices thing, any help is appreciated.

Hey Guys, I've never been more at a loss for a PC issue than I am now. For context I run a side Hussle building PC's and fixing them. I'm not at the level of some of out forum members but to date never had a PC build come back or an Issue I've not been able to fix Eventually. My PC Specs are - Ryzen 7 3700X - RTX 3070TI - 32Gb DDR4 RAM - B450 Tomahawk MAX- C: M.2 on Mobo........ 1 M.2 on PCI Adapter and 1 HDD. For many months I've been having Blue Screen Crashes with various error code but most pointing to a Windows Install Issue. Occasional one being GPU issue. I decided to reinstall Windows 10. The installer failed to install 2 times. So I decided to try Windows 11 (I had "upgraded" to windows 11 when it came out and hated it so went back. I hoped the things I hated had been ironed out). The Windows 11 Install failed also. I eventually got Windows 11 Installed but my issues just shifted towards GPU Problems. Crashes but not blue screen most alluding to GPU Memory issues. I've googled fixes and reinstalled drivers all to no avail. Just before I wrote this was the strangest example I've seen. All 3 of my monitors got no signal, all my lights on the Mobo went off (Ram Mobo GPU lights) I thought it'd just crashed but I could still talk to my mates on Discord. It did it twice in the space of 2 Mins. Both times just coming back on like nothing happened. I don't expect with this limited information to get a instant fix but is there any troubleshooting steps you guys can think of to help me narrow this down as the "5 ways to fix gpu error" articles and my own experience has proven useless. Thank you in Advance

I have got a new cpu, cpu cooler, motherboard, and ram, and after instaling it, it gets stuck with a white light on VGA. The new motherbord is asus ruf gaming B760 New cpu is I7-14700KF Curent gpu is rtx 3700. PSU corsair tx 750 I have looked around online and tried what i can find of fixses: - clear CMOS - remove and replace battery - try different ram sticks in different slots - diferent video cabels from different slots in gpu todifferentt monitors - different video cables from the motherboard to different monitors (know the CPU don't have internal grafix, but was desperate) - make sure the monitors are on. - gone over every power cabel to the gpu and mothboatd Everything worked fine before i changed the equipment, so I think then GPU should be OK. I notice that the new motherbord has both an 8 pin and 4 pin power conection for the cpu, but my power supply has no 4 pin cables. What should my way forwards be? I am wondering if the lack of a 4 pin cable is relevant at all, should I replace my PSU? Or should I just return it as not working?

Hello, I don't know if you can help me, but I hope for the best! Have a little problem with my computer where my motherboard (ASUS TUF Z390-PRO GAMING) doesn't want to work right away! My computer doesn't want to start when I have two ram sticks inside, it just gets stuck in the computer shutting down then starting up and doing this in a loop (sometimes the computer starts but doesn't get an image on the screens) I've tried taking out one of the sticks and starting then it works (Works with both running by themselves.) Have also tried taking the different slots in the motherboard and it works when I run single stick! Motherboard: Asus TUF Z390-PRO GAMING (WI-FI) Ramsticks: Corsair 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL18 Vengeance

I was recently gifted a Ryzen 5 3600 by my cousin when he was upgrading. It worked fine in his pc with a 1660 super but when I swapped it with the 1600 in my computer it randomly gives me a BSOD with event viewer saying "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." I've tried disabling XMP, resizable bar, and reinstalling Windows. I have a 6700xt which works fine with my 1600 but apparently not this proccesor. I should add that I had to reset the TPM when installing the 3600 and the BSODs happen more commonly when running intense games but also weirdly when only watching YouTube. I have attached photos of my system and of the BSOD.

Hello, I just found out that my RAM is only running on 2400 MHz (I've bought my extra RAM with 3600 MHz a year ago...). But now I wanted to ask how could I "speed it up"? I've read that I need to do it in BIOS and I already tried that but with my BIOS I couldn't find the option to set it higher. I found the tab "Memory Information" which only tells me it's running at 2400 MHz but nothing more. Is there a way to fix that or do I have to buy a better Motherboard? (btw I also couldn't find XMP in the BIOS) Best Regards Specs: CPU: Motherboard: RAM:

So recently I successfully upgraded from my old CPU and i wanted to enable XMP and ReBAR for even more performance but after turning it on after every restart I landed in the BIOS and the only way I can get to windows is by turning it off. MB: ASRock AB350M pro4

My PC is right next to my window and yesterday it was raining pretty bad while I was at work. My PC wasn’t wet but there was moisture on the glass panel so there was probably some moisture inside as well. I let it dry out and padded some of the components dry. This morning I went to turn it on for the first time and heard a pretty loud pop- sounded kind of like a single firecracker going off. Usually it turns on right away but this time there was a slight delay for all the LEDs to turn on, which is shortly after when the pop happened. I didn’t see smoke or smell anything unusual, and the PC was able to turn on and work- the CPU temps seemed to be normal. I was able to turn it off and on again. My initial thoughts were a blown capacitor or a transistor blowing in the psu from the moisture. Or it could have been something going on with my fans’ LEDs. Does anyone know what it could be, or how I can test/ do diagnostics? My PC is very new I just built it 3 months ago. Hey, I've built my first PC, but I'm having some problems. I've assembled the computer, but I can't seem to get the motherboard to post into BIOS. My monitor only displays a black screen (I do have the HDMI plugged into the GPU). Two LED lights (out of four) trigger, with two lighting up: "Boot" and "VGA" and the "DRAM" and "CPU" ones not triggering. Here are my specs: Motherboard: ASROCK H670 PG Riptide CPU: Intel Core i3-12100F CPU Cooler: Scythe Mugen 5 Rev. C GPU: XFX Speedster SWFT309 AMD 6700 XT RAM: Kingston Fury RAM 32 GB GDDR4 3200 Mhz (4x8 GB sticks) PSU: Corsair RM850 850 W PSU 80 Plus Gold Storage: Western Digital m.2 2280 250 GB NVme (OS drive. I also have a 1 TB m.2 Nvme as well from WD.) Chassis: Lian Li Lancool 216 Things I've done to troubleshoot (that I've seen on this forum and others) leading up to this post. I've: Reseated the GPU three times Reseated the CPU three times Used one stick of RAM in each of the four Dimm slots, then powered on. quintuple checked the PSU Connectors are all installed correctly. One final note, since I've been doing research on what could be causing these issues. My PSU does make one small crackle sound when trying to boot. It's not constant, and only happens once. All fans seem to spin so long as the power is being delivered. Any help would be great.

Hello, I’m working on my first build, and I’m struggling to get my Asus prime z790-A WiFi motherboard to align with all of the standoffs on the Lian Li o11d evo case. The built in IO shield will look like it’s in the right spot for the hole on the case, but just seems too big to let the board go quite far enough to the left to screw in properly. I’ve seen other completed builds with this board and case, and I know the o11d evo supports ATX, so it should fit, but I can’t figure out what I’m missing. If anyone’s worked with this case and/or board before and can give me any advice I’d appreciate it

Hey there, so I'm having some trouble with my PC startup. Usually, I disconnect the whole thing from the power when I'm not using it. Anyways, I turned on my desktop as usual and the screen was completely black - nothing was posting. All the other devices were getting power and even the motherboard and GPU were getting power, but still nothing was happening. I tried pressing some keys on my keyboard and swiping my mouse a couple of times, but still, nothing happened. I thought maybe the monitor was off, but when I checked it was getting power. So, I decided to restart my PC and this time it turned on. However, there was a BIOS prompt and I got the usual error about my CPU fan because I didn't plug in the AIO's ones to the board when I was installing my AIO. I had been delaying this for some time now. Anyway, I went into the BIOS and reset it to default, then set the CPU fan option to ignore and saved it. Then I booted up my device and everything was up and running without any errors. I checked a couple of things on my desktop, cleared the disk using Windows' disk cleanup tool, and restarted my PC again. All was well and running smoothly. Even when I powered off my system and the motherboard lights turned off completely and powered up the device again and it was still working fine. I don't have a power backup system, so I know if the PC's power cut off while running can be the reason for some errors, but it was working fine the last couple of times it happened. I probably got a Windows disk checkup prompt once or twice in this build, but I remember shutting down the device and cutting the power. Now, on the second day, I tried turning on my device and the same thing happened again. This time I saw a BIOS error (d6), but I really don't get how the GPU could be the problem. Restarting while the power is plugged in result in reset of the motherboard, so I think it might be my battery. However, I'm still confused because after shutting down and cutting the power off and after the motherboard lights turned off completely, I was able to re-power and turn on the device without any issues. So, I'm not sure what the problem is - I can't figure it out. I think it might be the battery causing the problem. But who knows, right? I'm gonna swap out the batteries and give it a couple of days to see what happens. But hey, if anyone out there has dealt with a similar issue, I'd really appreciate some guidance. It would save me the trouble of going through more troubleshooting if changing the batteries doesn't do the trick. So I recently picked up a few second hand CPU’s and I got this apu the Ryzen3 4300g. Now I don’t know if I’m just dense but I’m getting conflicting information, on which motherboard is appropriate for this chip. Anyone out there have experience with this Apu?
