AOA's latest EP, New Moon, released November 2019, has officially come out, and having bene a long-time fan of AOA for the latter part of my life, I am extremely excited to check it out. This time around, AOA has 5 members with the departure of Kwon Mina, but if their Mnet Queendom appearance taught us anything, it's that AOA can slay the entire K-pop industry no matter how many members leave. Their title sing Come See Me has been highly anticipated, so I will be sharing my thoughts on not just the title, but also the entire album's array of songs. 0:00 - Immediately the song opens up nicely with a melodic guitar melody with echoing finger snaps and a mild kickdrum. Jimin's vocals are forward and echoing too. 0:20 - The girls' vocals are amazingly clear and given body with the low undertone beneath their vocals an octave lower than what they are singing. This vocal performance accompanied by the extended guitar melody make for a great first verse. 1:00 - The girls' vocals are once again center-stage as the instrumentals enhance the mids and highs in the song's composition. I especially like that the background instrumentals follow the vocal's raise and low in pitch to give the vocals some more flow and enhance the change in pitch. 1:32 - This second verse's composition is more or less derived from the first verse, only this time with a kickdrum to further accentuate the atmosphere and give Jimin's rap even more body and speed, upping the tempo. I love the flow of the second verse. 2:32 - This half-time bridge is amazingly clear and the subbass is full of vibrance and warmth. The girls' vocals here take center-stage and give the bridge lots of body and soul, especially with the instrumentals underneath the vocals elevating the vocals even higher than the low, subbass floor. 2:50 - A very simple clap and vocal bridge climax here to focus the listener on the excellent vocal ability of the girls. The slow buildup also leads to a dramatic final chorus which re-introduces the base composition of the first chorus combined with the second chorus to end on a high note. 0:00 - The simple whistling is a melodic base combined with the stark dirty electric guitar. 0:20 - The vocals are the main focus here with a very bass pluck, guitar, and the repeat of the whistling from before. 0:49 - The half-time here also focuses on the excellent vocal abilities of the girls as well, letting the listener appreciate the vocals that much more as there is such a simple composition. 1:15 - The vocals here are accompanied by the return of that electric guitar with the kickdrum and whistling, making an awesome yet simple beat. 2:27 - The electric guitar here is subdued to allow the vocals to come forward that bit better, and I love how simple the composition is for the song whilst also keeping that repetitive catchy whistling in the background. 0:07 - The simple guitar plucking combined with the traditional kickdrum accompanying the soft vocals is a great, seductive start to the song. 0:38 - The introduction of an additional guitar to add to the composition is great as it gives the song some more body whilst still keeping the focus on the amazing, sexy vocals. 0:54 - The amazing, high harmonies of the girls combined with that rhythmic background composition makes for an awesome jazz beat. The echo in the high notes makes for some amazingly wide sound staging too despite them only singing in a high tone. 2:32 - The muted background composition here with the vocals allows the listener to really take in the amazing vocal ability of the girls. I love this part so much because it puts so much emphasis on their talent. 0:13 - That hard drum beat combined with their vocals is a nice, jazzy start to the song. 0:47 - The jazzy instrumental in the background combined with the girls' vocals is a head-rocker for sure. The background composition isn't busy enough to be muddled but still manages to keep the girls' vocals far forward. 2:20 - The soft "oooooh" sounds in the lower parts of the composition really elevate the girls' vocals and gives their vocals some body to enhance their vocals. The song otherwise has a very flat, low background profile. As a whole, the EP really impressed me. I particularly enjoyed Come See Me and Ninety Nine. Come See Me had those Latin vibes that I am honestly so weak for in Korean pop. The Latin-inspired guitar melody really enhanced the body of the song. Their vocals were out of this world. Ninety Nine stood out to me a lot thanks to that catchy composition combined with the alluring vocals of the girls. It's a nice, jazzy, seductive song. This album is a great return for AOA, Come See Me is an amazing song and part of an amazing album.

https://back.teamindus.in/ http://www.teamindus.in/#moonshot TeamIndus: Moon Mission TeamIndus is the only Indian team competing for the Google Lunar XPRIZE. The $30M Google Lunar XPRIZE is a global competition to challenge and inspire engineers and entrepreneurs to develop low-cost methods of robotic space exploration. To win, a privately funded team must successfully place a robot on the Moon that explores at least 500 meters and transmits high-definition video and images back to Earth. I came across this and they will fly your name to the moon for less than 10$. They already have booked a rocket to land their rover on moon. Though it would be cool to share .

This MAY be a dumb question, but using your estimates, how many years will it take to be actually able to travel to the moon as a citizen? my estimate: 30-50 years

First commercial mission to moon approved for Florida company

First commercial mission to moon approved for Florida company By: USA TODAY NETWORKJames Dean, Florida Today Source: http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2016/08/03/first-commercial-mission-moon-approved-florida-company/87998390/ 2nd Source: http://www.moonexpress.com/ Awesome, and may I say ... It is about stinking time! [this is obviously tech related - of sorts, Mods if you disagree ...] A fair warning to all those that think the Moon landing is a spoof. It did happen. This is exciting to me. I am hoping to see the new tech they are going to be rolling out because of this. With all the civilian companies now taking over what NASA was suppose to be doing these last 50 years is a good sign of sorts. At least we will be able to possible fast forward [play catch up] the space program and actually start exploring our solar system properly now. Well its a start any how. We are so far behind in this venture. A new space race is started of sorts. Thoughts? *edit The company doing this is called Moon Express. Their plan is to put a robot on the moon first. Then to start the process of putting a colony on the moon. This is a business move being done by a business not the US Government. The only reason the US Gov is involved is because of the 1967 Outer Space Treaty. -

Actually it was just a very vivid dream and the "End Times" are near. But, its more like an end to war, poverty, hunger, etc. Not the end of the world 'apocalypse', 'Jesus is coming back' type thing. Anyway my dream was Freaking AMAZING!!! So here's how it went down. I was sitting at the table with my mom & dad, and none other than captain Kathryn Janeway herself (Kate Mulgrew) stopped by and wanted to give us a tour of Hawaii. I know, seems odd, but stick with me. So we get into her SUV and she says 'its just a brief ferry ride to Hawaii, it won't take long'. As we're driving to the ferry port, I look up and notice..EARTH. Yeah, We were living on the friggin moon! But the surroundings looked like we were on Earth, Cities, skyscrapers, simulated oceans, etc. As we were in traffic, we ended up passing completely through a statue in the middle of the road. When I asked about it, Kate said "That was called Ghosting". Apparently, there was technology available to allow cars to 'phase' and pass through other objects without harming any passengers, which meant an end to severe & fatal car accidents. When we get to the ferry, I told everyone that I had to go pee. It took about two minutes to get to the restroom and pee, and by the time I was done, someone came in looking for me telling me that we had arrived on Earth. We get to our final destination shortly afterwards, and it was tech heaven. This is what I saw & understood... 1. Everything I was being shown was a glimpse of what was to come 100 years from now. It was essentially Utopia. No War, No Hunger, No Poverty, No Pollution, No disease, No intolerance or indifference. 2. All windows are made of a special glass that turn them into computers. Any type of media can be displayed on this glass via a bluetooth-like wristband that contained unlimited amounts of data. The glass can also display anything that is going on in the solar system in real time. If an individual wants to have privacy, the media can be transferred to a tablet device. 3. Not only was Social Networking a thing, but it was an essential part of life. Imagine what we do online now, but expanded much further. Everything was connected to your social media account. I was ecstatic to post a message to twitter about all that I had seen. Which is probably why I'm posting this dream on here. LOL 4. Gaming still existed, in the form of consoles. Now before you get all mad & upset, people built their own consoles to their own specs like we do PCs. There were no massed produced consoles and there was nothing exclusive... every game was playable on the DIY console. 5. All vehicles ran on a networked power source. No matter the size or type of the vehicle, they all had the same horsepower, Top speed, torque, etc. No idea on what the fuel for this came from or how it was made, but I do know that it was a renewable energy source. Anyway, That was the dream I had..as vivid, kooky, weird, and spectacular as it was. Not sure why I posted this, maybe I just had to write it down somewhere so I could remember it. I invite your thoughts on this.

A japanese company is going to place a capsule on the moon, containing powder to make its drinks. Could this be the start of a new level of interplanetary advertising, or a sumbol of man's comquest to conquer the universe going right back to what we have plenty of on Earth: Advertising. They hope to make this a symbol of the precious water we have. I guess this just goes to show that man never really changes. From the Earth to the stars, money is always our true desire. Hey guys, I just got done playing "To the moon" (took me about 4 hours) and beat it. This is by far the best visual novel indie game I've ever played. If you love story, this is your game. If you love amazing sound tracks, this is your game. If you love psychology and exploration of relationships and memories, this is your game. It has quite a few puzzles in it which are fun on their own. The game has tons of awesome mentionings of pop culture (DBZ, Street Fighter, Doctor Who) and the main characters are just funny. It's $10 (you can usually find deals at places like Steam or gog), but it's worth every penny. I'm buying the sound track (50% of the proceeds go to charity). While it is short (as I said, beat it in 4 hours or so), every single moment was entertaining. I highly highly recommend this game for anyone who loves good stories, music, humor, pop culture references, and diving into the question of what we are as humans (philosophical) and what the events in our lives can mean for our future. If you enjoyed Cloud Atlas (as I did), this game is in this genre of awesomeness. Sans the violence/action. Anyway, I could go on about this for pages but I'll let it speak for itself. Watch the trailer if you want a taste of all this game has to offer.

Why don't we, or can we, place a satellite in geosynchronous, geostatic orbit around the Moon since the moon is always facing one side toward Earth? Nothing expensive, just a few cameras and a few instruments to make meteorological and climate related detections from booth the Moon and Earth. For power you would use solar panels since it would be drowning in sunlight w/o clouds for hours per day. Use a battery system and design a system in which any charge over 24 vdc(or whatever volt is needed) will not go to the battery system thus reduce chances of overheating, degrading the life of the battery or a small explosion which would likely be the end of the life of the satellite. We should name it 'Omega 666'
