Hello guys! I was moving my Medion Monitor around a bit, when my Medion monitor said something in the lines of: "RGB (mode?)" and my entire monitor got a pink tint that I have no clue of how to turn off again. I tried to go into the settings of the monitor to find something to turn it off, but nothing bore fruit. I also tried every single combinations of button pushing but that also didn't work. I tried to use the monitors "Memory Recall" options, but that also did nothing. Searching for it online also gave little to no results. So alas I am stuck with a pink tint on my monitor now. Is there a shortcut on the buttons on the screen to turn of RGB mode? Thanks in advance

Hello there.I've been looking into upgrading the current GPU I have in my Medion PC. It's a NVidia 745 GTX. Now I was wondering if I could upgrade it to something like this card.https://www.alternate.be/html/product/1326918This is a GTX 1050 Ti Low profile card. I picked low profile since it'll make it so I have enough space in the case for it. Now I was wondering if I would need to upgrade the current power supply I have. I know this is needed a lot when upgrading graphics cards on PC's that are put together by a manufacturer. The card needs 300 wattage. This is what it says on the power supply I currently have. http://imgur.com/a/xAYa4Will this be enough? Or am I better off with getting a new PSU. I just want to make sure before buying. I'm pretty sure my CPU won't bottleneck so it's all good regarding that. Thanks in regards!

Hi, I'm currently looking for a good ultrabook that costs less than 1000€ which I will be mostly using for traveling and programming. The one that really stood out to me was the "Medion S3409 MD 6022" because of its look, performance and high ssd capacity. Do you think that's a good choice or would you recommend me a different one?

I live in the UK and I am planning to buy a gaming laptop for 1200 pounds. I've looked at a lot of laptops and I have finally come down to 2 options: MSI GP72MVR 7RFX(Leopard Pro)-615UK or Medion Erazer X7851. The Medion Laptop has 3gb more vRAM on its 1060 so it is clearly the better choice for performance. But I am not sure whether to buy it was the company doesn't look very popular. Here are the two laptops: https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/9S7-179BC3-615-MSI-GP72MVR-7RFX(Leopard-Pro)-615UK_2202625.html and https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/30022561-Medion-Erazer-X7851_2140745.html Please tell me your thoughts.

Hi everyone, I recently bought some extra RAM for my Medion pc I've been using for 5 years now. I've put two sticks of Kingston KVR1333D3N9K3/6G in my pc, but it only reports them as 2 gig sticks, so 4 gigs in total. That's exactly the amount of RAM I've been using all the time. Memtest86+ reports the modules as Kingston 99U5458 2 gig sticks (not the brand and type I used before), but my modules dont look like 99U5458 at all. Im using a MS-7848 motherboard, which supports up to 16 GB of RAM. Anyone ideas of what I'm doing wrong? I bought the sticks from another dude over the internet, could I possibly be scammed? I highly doubt it, as the sticks seem legit.

Hey guys, My dad bought a pre-built Medion Akoya P5301 in the summer of 2014. It was a pretty sweet deal at the time. He needed a reasonable amount of computing power and a dedicated graphics card. The PC consists of an i7-4770 and a GTX760, also 16GB of ram. About a year ago it started showing some problems. The PC would suddenly freeze all graphics. The screens wouldn't change but all the audio still worked. Usually we restarted it with win+x+u+r. Sometimes it would start beeping, long short short, but it would always recover. Three days ago it didn't. I cleaned the entire PC (hadn't been done in a long time) but it still did nothing. My dad very nicely got an old GPU from his work IT, a 2006 ATI. We tried this, still did nothing. I then removed the GPU entirely and used the onboard graphics, this did seem to work. I don't know what I should/can troubleshoot next. I'll be on holiday for 2 weeks now, but I'll try to do some more research when I can.

Hello LTT-community! This is my first post in this forum, so please tell me if i missed out on telling you anything important about my problem and please excuse if broke any unwritten forum rules... As my laptops system drive is a tiny 128GB SSD and I have to install quite big and demanding programs on it like Autodesk Revit, Nemetschek Allplan and all the office stuff I quite frequently ran out of space thanks to the Windows 10 updates... Because i didn't have enough free space to install a certain software I even ended up doing a full 3D Building Modell on my Surface Pro 3 which I can tell you is in no way something anyone would enjoy... So now I want to end this problem once and for all by upgrading my SSD and maybe the HDD in my Laptop. Both are easily accessible, I already took them out of the case today to see what my status quo hardware is. As the programs i use can be quite a pain to migrate between drives I am planning to do a "from scratch install" of the newest Windows 10 Version after installing the new drives into the laptop and install everything else from scratch. current SSD: 2,5” San Disk X110 128GB SSD (SD6SB1M-128G-1022I) SATA 6GB/s MLC I don't really know which SSD I should be looking for... Budget for new SSD: 200-300€ a bit higher also is no problem Use cases: Photo Editing with Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher 3D Building Modelling with Autodesk Products like Revit and Nemetschek Allplan. Some Rendering. Gaming (big games like WarThunder and EAs Star Wars Battlefront II, Total War Games) To be honest I don't really have any idea what SSD i should replace the current one with besides that it should have at least 1TB of space and be somewhat future proof (maybe as a secondary SSD in my next tower pc should the laptop decide to die) current HDD: 2,5” Seagate Momentus ST1000LM024, 1TB (most likely OEM stuff) Cache 8MB 5400 rpm SATA 6GB/s For the HDD I am thinking of upgrading to an Western Digital product. I am not sure which one of the following two to choose and if these would an improvement over my current HDD. But i have to say that i will gladly risk the 100€ for one of those 2 drives... CHOICE A 2,5" WD Black mobile (WD10JPLX) SATA 6Gb/s Cache 32 MB 7200 RPM CHOICE B 2,5" WD Blue mobile (WD20SOZX) SATA 6Gb/s Cache 128 MB 5400 RPM CHOICE C I am always open to suggestions Should I prefer Cache over the RPM? My use cases would be document storage, photo storage (RAW-Files) and 3D model storage as well as not so important steam games. I frequently back up my files and store older files on external harddrives but I like to keep stuff directly on my PC to be able to access it fast. I really would like some input from the community in the task at hand, thanks in advance! Laptop Specifications: Laptop MEDION X782X motherboard Intel HM87 (Lynx Point) BIOS American Megatrends Inc. Bios Date 07/15/2014 Bios Version E1763IM7.50P CPU Intel Core i7-4700MQ (22nm) - Haswell-MB (4 Cores, 8 Threats) Intel HD Graphics 4600 – 1GB GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M [MSI] – 3GB GDDR5 SDRAM RAM 2x 4GB SK Hynix-HMT451S6AFR8A-PB DDR3 SDRAM (OEM) - 800 MHz (DDR3-1600 / PC3-12800)

Hi, recently i found out that my secondary display is doing something weird during it's bootup? turn on? wakeup. It starts to flicker the power (I assume from seeing power button light also flickering on and off [just not the orange that is usual off indicator but rather just black like there is no power at all]) on and off. I have no clue what is the reason that it makes such thing. After a moment it enters let's call it phase 2 which is flickering with manufacturers logo and after that it just works. The problem i'm also seeing is that the time it takes is expanding. Funny fact, my brother also have the same problem with his monitor, but his started about month ago while mine about week ago. Brother's monitor now takes even up to 2h to turn on. Both monitors are about 9 y/o now and never had any issues. That is LG Flatorn W1934S and less known Medion MD30999PD that you probably won't find anything about in the internet. I would appreciate the help.

I have a prebuilt medion PC the medion S91 with a special medion motherboard that I can't find any info on and I wanted to upgrade my PC incrementally starting with the gpu from a 1050ti to a 2060 but I didn't want to upgrade that with the PSU that the PC came with so now I'm looking at upgrading the PSU but the medion motherboard has a 14pin connector and I don't know if I can just get an adaptor and if that's safe. I'm not sure this is exactly the right place to post this. I have an issue with my Advent 7035(Medion Mid2020) Laptop. Its a very old laptop. The DVD drive in the laptop failed so I bought a used one to replace it. I replaced it and the drive seems to receive power and spin up, however it is not detected in the bios and I cannot boot from it. The original non-working drive is detected. I have tested a drive from another laptop and it is not detected either. I have tested the replacement drive in this other laptop and it works. So it appears to be an issue with the Medion. Any suggestions on how to get it Working?

Hey guys, I just found a monitor on amazon with an ADS panel. Can ADS be compared to IPS? If so, which one has better colour reproduction, etc.? Thanks in advance!

I got a big problem... I was rebulding and upgrading an old oem Desktop pc for mid-range gaming. I already upgraded the cooler, graphicscard and Psu. Today was supposed to be the Rams turn. I bought 2 used 1600mhz ddr3 sticks (crucial and crucial ballistix) from ebay, picked them up and installed them. I was greeted by beeping from my Mainboard (ms7800). I checked everything. All power connectors from my Thermaltake 500w Rgb psu are plugged in as always. The amd a8-5500 trinity apu was still locked and secured, with the cooler running smooth. The ram was clicked in properly, like I've always done. The graphics card (gtx 750 1gb) was running and seemed fine. My Old bootdrive didn't seem to show any problems either. Even after checking the beep-code and looking for a manual I gave up. It beeps continiously, giving me no answer and no forum seems to have posts about this. Even putzing the old ram in doesn't change anything. A whole family uses the pc, and it would be quite bad if i bricked it. If anyone knows what to do or knows about a manual, it would be quite helpful. Sorry for my english, as It is not my first language.

Hey ya'll! I'll start with the TL;DR, if you do not care about the details! TL;DR : Any places I could hunt for a MEDION AKOYA P7618 (MD 98580) All I found was one person selling it for way more then I would pay for it, that was about 1 year back. I'm looking for the MEDION AKOYA P7618 (MD 98580) specifically because it is what I had when I was a 10 squeaker that just got interested into computers. Unfortunately mine isn't in the best shape To put it mildly After taking the thing apart to learn & just experiment back in 2013 I fried the CPU/Motherboard & GPU. I also screwed up litrally most of the plastic. My question being, I've been on the lookout for this exact model for over 2 years now. It got sold in 2010 in the Belgian Aldi, might have been sold at other places. From what I gathered (and know about this brand) they are timed releases lasting for not all that long, meaning there must not be a lot out there. I put myself on the notify me if something pops up list or whatever its called on eBay, only things I see coming by are batteries & keyboards & other accessories. At some point it did show up on a local equivalent of eBay 2dehands BE. But the nutcase asked € 300 for it adding insult to injury it looked like it survived WWII. Budget is about € 150 or $ 183 (at the current exchange), but I can stretch that if needed & it looked brand new. (Boxed would be amazing & I'd pay € 250 for that!) Webpage with information, surprisingly still online °-° Thanks in advance for helping! edit: I can give some specific specifications that I remember from back when I had most of the parts: Hitachi 5400RPM HDD - 750GB 2x 2GB 1066MHz SK Hynix DDR3 Not sure if that'll help, hasn't gotten me any further tracking one down.

Hi I bought a used Medion Erazer X7813, and it won't boot. It gets a PXE-E61 (media test error) error, saying the there are no bootable media detected. I tried using multiple hard drives and a SSD all from working machines, including the HDD that came with it (which spins up just fine on a different PC) but the problem is still there. I've tried bootable USB drives and DVDs but to no fix either. There are no mobo speaker sounds when it boots either. I tried getting into the BIOS to figure out if the drives were detected at all, but to no avail, as I can't figure out how to get into the BIOS. I've tried everything, all the F keys, Del, Ins, etc. The seller claims it worked before he shipped it, and for the price I paid I doubt I could get a laptop even close in specs to it again. I'm guessing it's a motherboard fault, which would mean it would not be economical to replace. Do you guys have any ideas?

I was thinking of using a case like this for my Steamroller Steam Machine build! I am gonna put in this for part one http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Z2KtFT & part two will be this? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/38dRxr (COPY PASTE THIS LINK...) My main worry is the ventilation for stage two of the upgrade will the airflow work with a 80mm fan blowing out only? I was also gonna leave it open under the GPU and the front of the case there is some air coming in there to but its no fan.

Hi guys, At Aldi near my house I can get a external 1tb 2,5" Hard Drive that I need, but I would like to use it as an internal one, what are the chances of it having a normal sata interface in that small form factor? Should I buy it or go to the work of getting an actual internal one? I would be using it to store movies on a media PC (Zotac Zbox) Any replies are welcome

Hello, 4 years ago I bought a Medion pc, recently I tryed to oc the cpu but I couldn't. In bios there is no option to oc the cpu. I have also tryed a lot of software options (setFSB, cpufsb, clockgen..) but none worked, I have a ICS 9LPRS477CKL, this PLL isn't on any of this software, in setfsb there are 9LPRS477BKL and 9LPRS477DKL they are very similar but did not work. So do you think that there is any way that I could oc my processor? Motherboard: MSI MS-7501 ver: 3.1 Cpu: AMD Phenom 9650 2,3GHz Sorry for any written mistakes I am from Slovenia:D Thank you.
