I'm looking for a super highend ultrawide. Don't mind paying upwards of $1500. I'm an ultrawide early-adopter. I started with the Dell U3415W and later upgraded to the Acer Predator X34 (the one with 100Hz). I'm looking for 120Hz or more. HDR 1000 nits. 34" (preferably 38"). 3440x1440 (preferably 3860x1600). IPS, PLS (preferably OLED) Well-known brand that has a good track record. My use cases Work (Software Engineering) Games YouTube I don't want a 40" 4K monitor (same pixel size as my 34" ultrawide). I have 6 monitors, and it 2 of them sit under my main monitor. If I made it taller, I wouldn't be able to use it fully. 49" wider ultrawide because that makes my side monitors unusable, and its height is only 1440px. I'd prefer upgrading to 1600px or 2160px height to make code easier to read. TN or VA panel. In terms of VA panels, the last time I saw one in ultrawide, it was a Samsung, and it was visibly pink or blue depending on which side I looked at. Maybe that's a non-issue now though.

Hello guys, I am looking for a budget WIFI PCIe Card. Yes I know I should use Ethernet because it's faster and more reliable but I can't and I have my reasons for it, it would be too complicated to explain. I would like to spend around 20-40€. I haven't found a good comparison source yet. I would be very thankful if someone could recommend something good and reliable. I would use it for gaming and normal daily use.

I'm looking for a gaming keyboard with cherry mx red switches and no number pad (10 key less). I would like it to be black with white LEDs if that is possible. I was looking at the "Cooler Master CM Storm QuickFire Rapid-i", very nice keyboard but the cherry mx red variant has really ugly red LED back lighting. If you can find something that meets my criteria, then please tell me! Any suggestions are much appreciated! Edit: price range is 0 - ~110 USD.

Hello, I'm a college student approaching graduation and I'm looking to finally replace my gaming PC. Between school and gaining different interests, I find myself not gaming much anymore, and when I do, it's usually less intensive games like Rocket League or Dota 2. I'm finding it harder and harder to justify keeping my PC when I could have something much more portable and power efficient that will do what I need it to do. Budget Based on some quick research, I think I could get $800-$1000 by selling my PC, monitor, and current (cheap) laptop. (Side note: would it be better to sell my PC in parts or as a pre-built?) I'm willing to pay around $200 out of pocket to supplement this but would prefer to keep that to a minimum. So, that's the price range I'm working in. What I Need Good Keyboard: I'm not completely sure what I'll be doing for a living, but there's a good chance it will involve a lot of writing, so I want a good keyboard that I can use for long periods of time without trouble. I have a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Browns right now, which I don't really like that much. I find myself regularly hitting multiple keys and it's a little tricky to feel where the key actually activates. Photo Editing: I do some graphic work right now, so I want to be able to use Photoshop and Illustrator without much trouble. It doesn't have to be lightning fast, but I need it to work. Longevity: I would like to be able to use this laptop for at least 5 years if not longer to justify the cost. I'm not the kind of person that needs the newest technology all the time. What I Would Like Upgradeability: To help with the longevity, being able to upgrade some components myself would be nice. If the laptop is good enough, this might not be necessary. Some Gaming Capability: The built-in GPU should be able to handle some games. Specifically Rocket League, Dota 2, Overwatch, Fortnite, etc. Medium settings is fine as long as the FPS is good enough. This could also be fulfilled by being compatible with an external GPU that I could purchase at a later date. Portability: I would want to be able to take this with me so I can do work on the go. A thin-and-light would be nice, but as long as it's not really chunky I'm okay. What I have so far The strongest contender for me right now is the LG Gram. I've heard great things about the keyboard as well as its upgradeability. It is on the high end of my price range, but I think it might be worth it. I was also looking at the Surface lineup, mostly because of the keyboard. I am worried I wouldn't be able to afford a model that would have the specs I want. I have also read some good reviews of the Dell XPS 13, but don't know much about them. Any advice on what to buy, how to sell my gaming PC, or if I should wait for new computers to be released is appreciated. Thanks!

Hello! I am searching for a new laptop to buy right now. My budget is around a 1000 euro's. I know this is not a european forum but I feel like people here would know alot of laptops, and can help me make the final choice. I am searching for these things - 8th gen i5 or i7 - 8GB RAM - 256GB SSD - NO GPU !!! The most important thing i'm looking for is build quality. I'm a student and Im going to be taking the laptop everywhere. !!! + I'm looking for a laptop without a GPU. I have a good desktop on which I play games + I'm going to be using this laptop for programming, taking notes, light photo-editing and normal daily use. + It should have a nice screen and an OK keyboard. + The trackpad is less of a priority as I normally use a wireless mouse. + I'd rather have a normal clamshell instead of a 2in1, but if its a good deal I won't skip it. + I will NOT buy used products + No Apple (They're out of my budget anyway) Remember that im in EUROPE, the Netherlands specificly, this changes some prices. For instance, the Dell XPS 13 is a good for what I need, but its 1400 euro's for the base model in Europe, while its 1000USD. Now i've been looking for weeks and just can't decide. The HP ENVY 13 looks the best, but i've heard bad things about HP's build quality. the Thinkpad series is known for its build quality but its just so damn ugly. The Ideapad looks good on paper, but I heard the screen and battery are less then desirable, maybe some of you can confirm or deny this? The Yoga looks good, but im not that much into 2 in 1's, and don't want to spend extra money on something im not going to use that much. Dell doesn't really have a laptop that fits my requirements (or do they? Let me know) Acer is at the bottom of my list as I had acer laptop and it broke after a year. Even though it was a cheaper model, I don't really trust them. If there is a good model with good feedback I will ofcourse be open to it. I hope you have some suggestions for me and that we can have a little discussion about it!

So im looking for a laptop but i'm kind of stuck with reviews and specs and stuff. My budget is $880 dollars including tax but might be able to flex it a little bit. I'm looking for a low profile gaming laptop that i can use for school work but also some casual gaming here and there.I would prefer to have a 1050+ and a 1tb hdd is a must but an extra bit of ssd space would be amazing. If you want games that I would probably play on it then I play rocket league, csgo, and maybe some pubg. and i want it around median settings. I have been looking myself but I'm always mixed between a few like some acer laptops like the aspire 7's and the nitro 5 spin. I have seen a few with some pretty good specs but they are laptops that just spell out gaming if you know what i mean. Any help would be appreciated as I do not understand laptops as much as PCs. List of what i want/prefer shortened~~~~ 1.1tb hdd is a must but extra ssd space would be very nice 2.prefer a 1050 gpu or equivalent but would really only go higher 3. a decent battery life so I can focus on the student side of the laptop 4.low profile, nothing that screams out gaming and that i can bring to class or a nice place to do homework or something 5.a touchscreen would be nice but the only laptop I have found close to what i want with a touchscreen is the nitro 5 spin 6.good cooling and don't have to worry about it exploding from the heat 7.generally good reviews because i have seen some nice laptops but the reviews change my mind 8.($700-$900 with tax included) I don't expect the "perfect laptop" within my price range, but as long as it has the basic idea of what i want then i should be good. also if you need anymore information just let me know in the comments.

When Ryzen 2 launches, I'm going to do a big upgrade on my computer. Right now, I have a p400s. As much as I love the case, my graphics card temperatures are high and I want to top mount my radiator. I need recommendations for a new case to help fix these issues. Criteria: *Decent airflow. Better than a p400s but doesn't need to be anything extreme *Looks good, tempered glass would be great *Support for ATX board/PSU and a large GPU (I have a strix card) *Support for a top mounted AIO (I have an h100i) *Good cable management. Some space behind the motherboard would be nice. Extra features that would be nice include: *Integrated RGB of some kind *Dedicated SSD mounts *Smaller footprint/less wasted space I don't want to spend more than 150 dollars, but if the case comes with some of those extra features I'd be willing to pay up to 200. I've been looking at the h700i, but the price is steep. It hits most of the points on the list, but I don't know if I want to spend that much I also have looked at the meshify C, but I have concerns about the radiator mixed with that graphics card, and I have no real way to test if it will work on the top with the motherboard/ram.

I am looking for a good laptop that can handle some decent load and is either a 15'' or a 13". I would also prefer a 2 in 1 but doesn't have to be. Would also like a thunderbolt 3 port. I settled on 2 different ones but can't decide which one or if I should just find something different. The first one is: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MS4EQLX/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I23D5B7PD5RDLW&colid=1YVFB20Q34U9G&psc=0. The other is: https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&v=qpVqF00TVkU&redir_token=ETErkSQl6bhpkuSIdQxFdIx_xqt8MTUxODQ2NzYxOEAxNTE4MzgxMjE4&q=http%3A%2F%2Faustin.tech%2Fx360bb. Can someone help me find something like these under $800?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a specific video from LTT channel that, if memory serves me right, went up within last 6-7 months. It was one of those "Linus going places" vlog, where he went to a Lab, I think in WA (not sure), that specializes in trying different hardware with different software and writing blogs about what works best. For example, they try Premiere with different CPU's (AMD vs Intel), and then write those recommendations. I'm not sure, but I think that place also assembles custom rigs for sale. If anybody knows which video I'm talking about and can help, I would appreciate it a lot ! Thanks!

I'm wondering if there are any Croatians on here who may be selling their stuff, after some time fooling myself I decided I'll be upgrading my existing rig instead of buying a whole new one. My current PC is Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5400 2.7 GHz, Pegatron 2A94h MBO, 4 gigs of ram, 500 gig drive, I can't tell you my GPU because there doesn't seem to be one.. Anyway, if there are any here, let me know, I'll mostly be looking for a MBO, CPU and GPU for now. If there's anyone outside Croatia willing to ship it, that would also be great.

Hello helpful people! I am looking to built an AIO-type computer that needs to have a built-in keyboard. I have been looking (with no luck at all) at pieces online that are intended for people to build/repair/customize mechanical keyboards. What i need is the PCB and key-switches. Either as a package, separately (and compatible with one another), or from a specific keyboard that is easy to dismantle. As well, it would be super helpful if they were plug-and-play, with no additional configuration required to work with windows on a software level. Thank you so much for any pointers or links!

My laptop is getting quite old and im looking for something that will run most anything i throw at it at respectable levels. Most of the time it wont be extremely punishing but once in a while I play more demanding games on my laptop so i want the power to be there if needed. My price range would be preferably around 800 but i think i could go around 1000 if I need to

Hello, from the past 5 days i'm looking at reviews, forums, youtube, even till the 9th page here and i can't find what will be suitable for me. Currently i have a LG L226W it's a 16:10 which i really hate. It's a 22 inch 1680x1050 2ms, colors when loving camera in games get washed out. I'm currently living in the US, but only for 3 months more until i get back home to Bulgaria. My problem is that i want a monitor higher than 23.8inch so it won't look smaller compared to my current one. Because i'm doing a photography and noobish video editing i use a lot of shadowplay. I wanted a IPS monitor which will be suitable for gaming too. The only competitive game i play is CS:GO but only when my friends are playing as a team which happens rarely. 60Hz will be enough. I currently have a 960 but will buy 1070 or 1080 when the prices get normal. I was thinking about a 27inch 1440p but was worried about the ~ 60% more pixels and the low fps that i will get even with a GTX 1080 because i would probably play games on highest settings. Also i'm really worried about that IPS glow people complain about. I normally don't go higher than 25-30% on the brightness. To summaries: 23.8" or higher (but higher than 24 means to get 27 with a 1440p screen) 60hz will be enough To be IPS Lowest input lag and lowest latency as possible. budged of 400$ for those money i don't think there will be any g-sync. The only problem is that it has to exist in Bulgaria. Thanks!!! EDIT: i was looking for good monitors in Bulgaria and looking for reviews with no success, so i'm gonna post them here. Dell U2417H , Dell U2414H , LG 24MP88HV , BenQ GW2765HT (which is 27 inch 1440p). and some other 23 inch which are not high enough size.
