Recently people discovered that a screw can cause a short with the PCB of the PCIe riser that is included with NZXT H1 cases. Gamers Nexus did two videos on this thoroughly testing this issue and they have found that is a certain fire hazard. Instead of me trying to explain, I will link the two videos: - Unsafe Computer Catches Fire: NZXT H1 Case & BLD Serious Problems - YouTube - NZXT is Irresponsible & Dangerous: H1 Riser Fire Hazard Should Be Recalled - YouTube Now, I've searched out of curiosity to see if any other youtubers have made a video on this issue and I found this video from ShortCircuit that actually showcases one of the H1 cases: - Don't wait for the Xbox Series X! - NZXT BLD H1 Gaming System - YouTube I went into the comment section and I've seen people say that they have bought this case so that means they are at risk if not made aware of the issue. I replied to the ones that I saw, but as you can imagine not everyone that bought that case commented on the video. Let's try to make someone from LTT aware of this so that they at least pin a comment on their video informing people of this issue. I have also sent an e-mail to info@linusmediagroup.com if it's of any importance.

Help! My computer after being put on sleep mode (pressing Sleep) will not go to sleep. Instead it makes the fans run at max RPM, the computer becomes unresponsive and I can’t literally do anything. Does anyone know what’s going on?

This feature of drag and dropping files to task bar is removed from windows 11. People are really frustrated by this and it has been around 6 months since windows 11 has released. And there is still response or anything from MS about re adding this feature. LMG is the only platform that i think can raise this issue and be heard by MS. -A frustrated Windows11 user who can't go back to windows10 because will have to reconfigure entire laptop again

Felt like sharing this video(not mine!) on the topic of tech and green activism as whole. I feel like this is very important discussion among us enthusiasts and others who have desktop or even laptop for that matter. Precisely when it comes to reducing the e-waste and repurposing old desktops or old laptops. Very curious to know your opinions on this, because I personally think we should this kind of discussions on things like this that have massive amounts of impact on things we care about. P.S. I do also hope if Linus picks up on this and makes a discussion video about this topic.

Today I went to my tough book, I log on at least every day. But today something happened, I turned it on and it said configuring updates. so I sat there for about 30 minutes watching the screen, when it said it was done it loaded genuine windows 7 professional, the OS I use every day. But when it booted it showed a blue screen saying my PC was out of date and no longer supported, I know it was discontinued but, still. So I then checked the specs of my PC to see if I could upgrade to windows 10, but the requirements are to much for my pc, so I cant upgrade or it could damage my laptop. I need help asap!

PSU: Corsair RM850i I was looking at my F_USB connections when I realized a cable that goes from there to my PSU. It's quite literally this cable as listed on the manual Do I need it for anything essential or can I simply unplug it? I need a free F_USB slot.

What I was doing when this happened was I was trying to get the DRAM Refresh Failure (SIngle short Beep) to stop happening. I first took one RAM stick out and left the other in still a beep, then I put it in my only other slot and it stopped the beep which I thought fixed it. Then when I put the other in the other one back it stopped picking up my displays (No short image blip, just straight up couldn't detect a single of the 3 I had on/stanby), keyboard and mouse didn't light up or anything. So here I am, a expensive PC that I can't be sure of whata the issue is. I found some info indicating it might be a PSU issue (which I can't believe would cause this), motherboard (which is more likely) or maybe my RTX 2080 GPU. That's my guess. (Maybe I should mention that for months and months when I power up my PC, even at the Lock/Login screen my PC essenntially froze and kept freezing for up to five minutes after the boot up. I tried to find a fix but nothing) I will try to disconnect my Grahics card and let the inigrated graphics try and display something using only one display and see if it's my graphics card then. Last thing, I purchased it Pre-Built on amazon last June. This is the PC: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07JHSNWSP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Update: The HDMI and DVI slots do not work plugged directly into the motherboard, so, my guess is either the Moherboard or the CPU. PLEASE HELP!

Hey, I'm looking for an external hdd to store some important files. I am not going to use it often, so speed is no problem, but longevity is a serious one. I've seen reviews on almost all of the eHDDs I've seen saying they failed... What are some things I should keep an eye for and do you have any suggestions for some long-lasting hdds? Thanks!

The motherboard im looking to get is the asus rog maximus ix code unless there's a motherboard that is better in every feature. Hey everyone. I'm new here so Hi. Now, straight to the question. First, Here's my build Intel Core i3 3220 3.3Ghz Dual Core 6Gb RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 2GB (Asus) So, I am rendering this 4 minute-ish 1080p video in Adobe Media Encoder that I made in After Effects. Both of them are CC 2017. When I started doing video editing, i used my CPU for rendering. It took somewhere around 1 hour to render the 4 minute video at 29.97 fps in 1080p. I know that my processor is just a dual core 3rd Generation processor. That's why I bought the GPU for. Now, when I start rendering in Media Encoder, the rendering still takes 1 hour. I found out that it's still using my CPU instead of my GPU even when I had Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA) selected as my renderer. The processor usage jumps to 80% running at 3.25Ghz and jumping to 3.29 at some points. I tried every possible guide on Google. Nothing worked. Also, I noticed that the GTX 1050 is not officially supported in these software. I know I can add my GPU into the list of supported GPUs but still no luck. Should I go back to CS6 ? I have an actual disk of this. Thanks !

Hello! I am looking to buy an audio solution for recording sound for my shorts. But of course, the guy recording said audio should hear what they are recording, but I am not sure at all in terms of how to let them... I am thinking about something with a splitter? But I cannot find 3.5mm splitters with female jacks only. The problem is: I need to buy those things as soon as possible for a trip, so I'd be very happy if you'd send german amazon links because I really don't have time to wait for shipping. The microphone and recorder are these, in case it might help(I know, they're really low-end...): https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01MG1EENS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3I1P4EACBI7EE&psc=1 https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0151A7Q8M/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A1SH1YU5U2H5GT&psc=1 Thanks!

Heyo! I've recently built a PC. Though when I boot it up it has the eZ Debug Light on for the CPU. I'm really not sure what the problem is, CPU, BIOS, Mobo? Who knows? If you could, please help! Hello, I recently purchase the Razer Man o War and have been loving everything about it! Well... everything except for one thing, the microphone. Whenever I'm in the game or in a discord call, people are always telling me that my mic sounds like absolute garbage. When I go to bandicam to record my voice it also sounds bad. But when I go onto razer synapse and turn on mic monitor, the sound quality of my mic is absolutely beautiful. I do not know why this is and it is really bothering me. I have my razer man o war as my default audio and microphone in my playback devices, updated all the drivers, I've looked through settings on discord and in the games, and nothing is working. Help would be extremely appreciated and at this point, I'm willing to pay someone to tell me how to fix it. So if you have any ideas shoot em off in the comments and if you fix my mic I will seriously PayPal you money because im that desperate for help.

Okay, so I posted on this forum a couple times over the past week or so and I've narrowed down my choices to four laptops. I am incredibly indecisive and I don't know which to choose. Just please tell me which one to pick. The most important factors to me are build quality (I want it to last at least 4-5 years), battery life (doesn't have to be exquisite, just not trash), and other than that, I plan on using it for internet browsing/streaming, some programming, some photoshop, microsoft office, and maybe some light gaming. If you know of any laptops other than the ones below that fit my preferences for under $700, please let me know. Oh and also, cant be to big of a screen I'd like to be able to take it on the go easily, so preferably around 13 inches (not too small either though), and no bigger than around 14 inches. So here are my options in no particular order, just pick one and tell me to buy it please: 1) Dell Inspiron 13 7000 7370 Laptop - (13.3" Touchscreen IPS FHD (1920x1080), 8th Gen Intel Quad-Core i5-8250U, 256GB SSD, 8GB DDR4, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10) 2) Dell Inspiron 13 5000 5379 2-IN-1 Laptop - 13.3" TouchScreen FHD (1920x1080), 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8550U, 256GB SSD, 8GB DDR4, Backlit, IR Webcam, Windows 10 (Certified Refurbished) 3) ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop, 13.3” Full HD, 8th gen Intel i5-8250U Processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB M.2 SSD, Backlit keyboard, Fingerprint Reader, Windows 10, Grey, UX330UA-AH55 4) ASUS VivoBook F510UA Thin and Lightweight FHD WideView Laptop, 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8250U, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 128GB SSD+1TB HDD, USB Type-C, ASUS NanoEdge Display, Fingerprint Reader, Windows 10
