My computer started having this issue where when I opened certain intensive games, I would get visual glitches and coil whining. Now, depending on the game only one happens, or the other or both. Also, the coil whining goes through my headphones. At least, I think it is coil whining. Its basically a screeching sound that keeps going until after a few seconds it'll mute all audio, showing back up a few seconds later. If I mute the applications audio it still screeches, sometimes it'll blast my audio so loud that its deafening. The audio also makes noises outside of games, like when I'm watching Netflix or YouTube, it'll do an occasionally popcorn crunch sound. I've tried a DDU, fresh install of drivers, reseating the GPU and that's all. I'd like to mention that I use HDMI audio and graphics. I also have a Bluetooth USB that I use to connect my wireless headphones, where I hear the "coil whining" from. Honestly, I would just like some pointers to which part I should replace. From the research I've done online, it seems like a replacement is in order. I just don't know whether or not this is a graphics card issue, a PSU or motherboard. If anybody knows how I could deduce the issue I would be willing to try, but really I just want to replace parts and be done with it.

NZXT Cam is the only program on my PC that I have seen do this. I have not found much info online and I made sure it is up to date. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled nzxt cam. Not sure what else to do and figured I'd post on here for an answer. Thanks! nzxt glitch.MOV

I have an issue while playing a handful of titles on my PC. I seem to have an issue where my screen experiences some sort of vertical line pixelation or screen door effect in some games. The strange thing is, it only tends to happen while outdoors and near foliage such as grass or trees. If I look towards the ground, it fixes itself until I look back at the foliage. Any ideas on what's causing it or what I can try to fix it? I have an Nvidia RTX 4060 from MSI and 32 gigs of ram, and no it's not the monitor's fault as far as I know.

So i sent my GPU in via warranty/RMA to MSI this morning. I thought that this particular graphical glitch I was getting could've been from my GPU since it's almost 3 years old. I just rebooted about 10 minutes ago and got the same glitch on my spare gpu. It's a sheet of purple vertical bars that I can't make any pictures out of. I unplugged my HDMI cord from the back of the GPU and it got better. I'm afraid it's something wrong with the monitor as I'm not sure if I have the warranty on it to send it in. Could it be my hdmi cord? It goes away almost instnatly once I un/replug the cord. Any help is appreciated.

Hello all! I am posting this on behalf of my GF. She has had this computer for almost a year. Recently, it has been having some odd visual glitches. Sometimes it wont glitch at all, and sometimes it will. It USUALLY starts doing it roughly 30 mins after a boot. It almost always does it after waking from a "sleep". I will try to describe it as i dont have any pics/vids of it. I will get some and upload them here next time it bugs out. When it happens, the desktop picture will either: 1. go 100% black. 2. It wont go black, but if you hold left click to select an area, like for apps etc, the inside of whatever you selected will turn black. 3. Apps will "turn ghost". Sometimes the computer will freeze where you can move the mouse but cannot click anything. When it freezes you have to hold the power button to shut it down, which we don't like to do for obvious reasons. Upon reboot, it will be fine until it happens again. She is also running 2 monitors, and it will happen to both monitors when it bugs out. I have attached a pic of the system information. Things we have tried: 1. I have personally updated all drivers. Through both the AMD app for AMD drivers and through device manager. 2. We updated the bios to the latest version. Which made it less frequent but still hasnt fixed it 100%. 3. Checked the dumb things, such as: Loose HDMI/display port cables. loose cables inside the case, etc, etc. 4. Updating windows. It is on the latest build of win 11. (10.0.22631) 5. Ran CCleaner multiple times to fix any registry issues that are there. This is the PC she has: https://www.microcenter.com/product/643370/powerspec-g167-gaming-pc Only thing changed from the specs is she added an additional 2TB SSD and installed an additional fan on the rear of the case. PS: Happy thanksgiving!!

Only seems to happen on lighter colors like skyes, skins etc. Hdmi has been taken out of pc and monitor and put back with no change. Gpu has been updated. Anyone have an idea what it is or a fix?

My laptop doesnt display an image on the internal display sometimes. Sometime it displays, other times it's a glitched image, sometimes it's a blank white image with a black bar, connecting to external display it works fine. Reinstalled windows once didn't help. Specs: acer nitro 5 I7 12650h Rtx3070ti 16gb ram 1tb ssd The internal display is a 1440p 165hz. The issue happened 2 days after I got it. The service center has told me it's a motherboard issue but it has been more 1 month they're still searching for the part. (Pic of white screen below other wise it's blank black) (edit: it does show the bios screen)

So recently i have noticed that while i close discord sometimes maybe once every 10 times i'd see black squares appear on the discord window (NOT DESKTOP OR ANYWHERE ELSE) somewhere while it's closing but no where else once its closed and if i try to open and close it again it happens. I didn't care about it much but now it's concerning since i saw steam doing it too but i noticed that if i leave the window open for too long for example discord and close it it will cause that. Should i be concerned about my GPU or is that just a windows 10 glitch ? my gpu is rtx 3070 asus tuf i5 11400 16gb ram and h510M motherboard powersupply is a B tier too.

Note: I have a dell inspiron 3670 I am a windows 10 user 3200 mhz 16 GB ram (That I think is causing the problem) intel i3-8100 CPU that supports up to 2666mhz Integrated graphics I am not big into computers, but I just want to know if the MHZ is causing the problem. This has happened ever since I have installed my new ram, and the old ram doesn't do this. Would 3200 MHZ on a 2400 - 2666 MHZ i3-8100 cpu be causing this glitching problem? Please let me know, thanks!

Lenovo Slim i7, 14AP7, model 82SX0002US (Intel i7-1260P, Iris XE 96EU). 2.8K (2880x1800) 90Hz. Recently I've noticed an odd artefact on my screen: sometimes I see these reddish-greenish lines near random objects on my screen. It's especially noticeable between the words either in documents or movies. Once I move the cursor near those lines, some of them disappear. And reappear when I move the cursor away. The problem doesn't occur all the time: when I browse or type something in Google Docs, it seems perfectly alright (apart from comments in Google Docs -- for some reason, they're also sometimes affected); It mostly happens when I play or watch videos (both youtube and media player). As far as I understand, it doesn't appear on the entire screen, but on the middle, central third of the screen. Idk, hope somebody knows what's going on. The problem remains while in BIOS and disappears on the external monitor. Photo of the screen (you can see it clearly after "say" and "all") PS Sorry for the pic. The screenshot appears normal so I had to capture it with a camera. PPS I know it's a sound idea to claim a warranty case; alas, I have the Allstate one and live outside the US (so they won't be able to help)

I just noticed a serious privacy issue with Facebook. When just viewing someone profile on Android app it's automatically sent requests to them. At first I thought it was a human error then I couldn't locate the "friend request" or the message to cancel it. Other users on reddit have reported the issue. Now I have all these unsavoury friend suggestions. Check your Facebook hasn't been affected, hope this information helps. Windows 10 Task Manager takes about 5 seconds to close. After clicking the x it goes white and just shows Task manager and File Options and View Tabs and all white in the box below them. Its not debilitating, as my system still runs good, its just an annoying very minor glitch/bug i'd like to fix if possible. I did chkdsk and sfcscannow and nothing of note. I'd show a pic of what i mean but everytime i print screen and put it on paint it doesnt show the task manager glitching for some reason. Hello, i have been noticing some strange flickering and visual glitches in most games that i play and even youtube videos, i will be posting a link to a minecraft video where it is quite clear what's glitching. I have tried multiple monitors, and also the integrated graphics on my CPU to see if the problem is GPU related, but i had the same problem. If anyone could help me out, that would be great! Hi everyone, having a little problem with my new pc: Specs: 970 Evo Plus 500gb M.2 i9 9900k RTX 2080 Super 32Gbs ddr4 3200mhz CL16 RAM I am pretty sure the lag is not due to old or sub-par hardware given the above specs. The problem occurs when hitting "open" on a game in steam and then moving my mouse, it glitches across the screen and then works fine. It can also occur sometimes when dragging a window around or using my keyboard after a period of innactivity. Please let me know if this is a common problem or something I shouldn't worry about + fixes if it is an issue.

Hi, I've been experiencing a similar monitor glitch as colton's monitor in his Intel 5000$ tech upgrade, see 2:58 timestamp of the video. Does anyone know what the possible cause is of such a problem and if there are any ways it could be fixed? (see attached images for reference) I'm wondering if it's just a loose cable inside. Otherwise i'll have to try and make use of my warranty. Thanks for taking a look!

I noticed something when I look at some videos. Instead of saying, “1 week ago,” it says, “8 days ago.” I was confused on what is going on. I checked out another video, but this one said, “2 weeks ago.” So, is it a glitch on my end, or have other people experienced this?

(Laptop specs at the very bottom of the post) Hello everyone. I am about to cry my ass out. I bought this laptop for graphic design about a week ago. Spend the first few days benchmarking and stress testing (good old Aida and Heaven). It worked very well, temps are solid. But on the last day of benchmarking it started to show some artifacts on screen. I changed the refresh rate and it stopped doing it. I reinstalled windows 11 to get rid of Dell bloatware and installed all the drivers, BIOS update and VCard BIOS updates as well. On the first day of using it professionally, it started to do this crazy thing on the internal monitor while the external monitor works stays normal. The external monitor can only go up to 60hertz and the laptop monitor is 120hz. I am using it at 120. What I know: - When I take a screenshot the image comes clean, no stutters or artifacts. - All the drivers are up to date and I am using nvidia's studio driver. - The external monitor is hooked to the HDMI port, which is the direct output of the RTX 3050. - All the times it happened I was using at least some variation of chorme (Edge, Brave, Chrome itself). - Doesn't happen while gaming and/or streaming. (Tested on Forza Horizon 4 and The Witcher 3) - Doenst happen on Heaven. Or Aida. - The computer is not overheating and the fan profile and actually very very silent and keeps the thing cool. - My overall first experience with windows 11 has been horrible. It freezes all the time. Translation to my native language is as broken as my English. Thank you so much for your time. I really hope someone can help me out on this one. This machine is my workhorse and I need to work :( THE SPECS: - Core i5 11400H - RTX 3050 4GB - 8GB DDR4 3200MHZ - 512 GB SSD. - 120 HZ DISPLAY 20211208_032907_1.mp4

I have no idea which part of my build is giving me these graphical glitches... I've read online that when purple/green appears it's an indicator of a bad GPU...? My exhaust case fan on the back is spoilt so I manually spin it with a stick everytime I boot up my PC (thankfully it continues spinning after that) so could it be a case of GPU being thermally throttled? Here are some screenshots for reference. Since I bought my pre-built system from a vendor I can't RMA my GPU directly from the manufacturer, and my 3-year warranty with the vendor has expired. My shadows just don't appear smooth, and most of the time I can deal with it but the shadows stop blending on occasion and look like This. [Be warned the image is a location spoiler to Final Fantasy XIV's new expansion Endwalker] The shadows on the blimp do not blend at all and look really bad. Is this GPU going bad? This happens regardless of OS, and only happens sometimes when the refresh rate is set to 360Hz. It doesn't happen when using Lubuntu's "Safe Graphics" mode on 360Hz. The Intel graphics have been disabled in the BIOS. I had my laptop serviced about a month ago for this very same issue and they replaced the motherboard since they said the GPU failed, so I'm thinking it might be a driver issue, being that it only happens sometimes and that they swapped the entire motherboard. Or I'm just really unlucky when it comes to the silicon lottery. Oddly enough when running both Unigine Heaven and Superposition this issue did not manifest in the slightest and there were no other issues. It manifests itself in the form of visual glitches that last for a split second but frequently occur. Here's an example:
