So I’ve recently gotten a gaming laptop (Can you guess which one tho?) and got a desk with a monitor some LED lights with a mic mouse and keyboard (Can you guess what ones they are). Since this is my first sort of gaming set up what’s your opinions on it? What could I do better? (Sadly cable management is something that doesn’t exist in this set up)IMG_8121.heic

So I'm new to building PC's and I wanna see if there is any kind of updates or changes I should make before ordering the parts. I plan on using it for games like Battlefield 1 and others like that at Max settings. Not 4k though. I would be ordering from the south where I live. My price range is about $1000-$1500 Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor Corsair H60 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ASRock Z270 Pro4 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Seagate 500GB 2.5" 5400RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual Series Video Card NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case The OS is Windows 10 pro and I was going for a white/red color scheme. Any comments would be appreciated

As the title says, what are some peripherals that is a 'must' in a setup for you? For me it's such as Some nice lamps to lighed up the mood around the monitors, I do like RGB wires aswell such as behind the table for some more lighting, I also like having plants / Fake grass to get some green in to the setup. What about you? Edit: I mean stuff that isn't keyboard, mouse, headphones, monitors?

Hey Guys, I need to replace my old and potentially dying i7 3770 but I don't have a lot of amount of money to spend (~400 at a time is pushing it). Generally speaking and assuming only those 2 could bottleneck, would a Pentium G4620 bottleneck before my 960 does while gaming? Quick edit, minecraft isn't really on my to play list, I just can't be bothered finding a new picture.

hey guys, hows it going? first of all, i dont know if this post was suppose to be post here. i thought i should put it in graphic card or monitor but oh well, thinking how quite new i am in this community. so my rig is rocking i5 3570k non overclock (and will never be overclock because i was a noob at buying a motherboard), 1080p monitor 60hz, soon ill get a gtx 1070 quicksilver. the point of this question is to ask you guys what to do to decrease my bottleneck if im planning to upgrade or something like that. i see 2 ways to tackle this thing: - upgrading my monitor to 1440p ultrawide monitor. if i do this, ill stuck with the same cpu and motherboard but ill get true performance out of my rig (im not gonna do professional editing or anything, maybe light editing images and videos) - upgrading my mobo and cpu. if i do this, i wont bottleneck my system, but at the same time, will stuck with 1080p resolution. i need to know this so i know what ill do in the future in the time of upgrading. i cant afford both because i dont have millions of dollars on my back pocket, so yeah, i guess that explains a lot. when it comes to price, in my opinion, i think both ways would cost the same roughly depends if what cpu + motherboard are you talking about or what monitor are you talking about. (the price wont be the same if you suggest that $4000 cpu or that newest, ultrawidest, clearest, bestest ultrawide monitor (that english)) please share me your opinion on this one if you got the good opinion, if you dont, just share it i mean you just need to type a couple of words and continue scrolling down. thank you for answering and coming here. have a nice day (i live in australia in case you want to know)

Today I have 3x22" 60 hz, 1440p, 16/10, > 5 ms monitors. This is fine for my current runing when I play Project cars or simular. My problem is that when playing FPS like battelfield 5 I would like to upgrade to a min 1440 144hz 1ms display. I like playing with 3 screens in BF5 to. I have an Aorus 1080TI WB Easy solution was to get 3 identical displays, but then the cost add up to much. Get one. And accept to play on one screen when playing BF5. And exchange the screens to play PCars Get an ultra wide screen? Get an ultra wide and use the 2 of the existing to have as "side windows" Is it posible to get some screens to fit with the existing in the higth ... Any surgestions or test I need to se? Buget is: I can pay for quality but 80% quality is good for me, if the last quality comes for a premium price.

Similarly to the all Monoprice or Amazon Basics gaming setup video about a year ago, a next step in following suit would be Xiaomi in my opinion just because of the pure range of random electronics they sell. A lot of the stuff ranging from lighbulbs to monitors to little humidifiers. I think the idea would be very easily doable just because of all the branches the company has like mija, selling lifestyle items, and then monitors and keyboards in their mainstream, and almost everything your looking for can be found on aliexpress Sorry if this has already been posted before, couldn't find anything too similar

Hey there! So as of now i have a medicore setup and i want to improve it. I have a basic 24inch samsung monitor a dark blue desk and thats about it. Not to mention my room is kinda messy. I have some ideas but am a bit confused.(I REMOVED THE MONITOR ON THE LEFT AS IT DID NOT SERVE ANY PURPOSE SO THERES ONLY ONE MAIN MONITOR IN THE MIDDLE) 1. Would white vinyl wrap on only the top of the desk look good? (see picture below) 2. I want to switch out the main keys on my keyboard with white keys. Do you know anywhere to just buy standard white keys? And 3, any cheap but nice looking desk decorations? Thanks! (BTW im going for a red white blackish theme)

Hi all, I have plans for a gaming desk build and I thought I would share to give others idea's. I have made my setup in sketchup. there is some items in the photos that are not apart of the build, off to the side.** White and copper theme I just moved into this room a few months ago, smaller (9'X9.5') then my already small (10'X10') room. I already had issue with my desk being small, and didn't really have a good option to put the existing desk in the room itself and still have good room layout function. The bed I had was just a footon, the frame blocked most use of storage below. and being that I didn't have a closet anymore, I made a platform bed, and my dresser under it as well, worked out great. There is about 35cft of storage under the bed. back wall of the closet is pallet wood. copper pipe used for drawer handles, standoffs, and shelf units. drawer unit will be custom, designed after ikea ALEX units, only problem being the depth of ALEX is only 18", as to mine will be 26" deep. also the unit has a open spot to accommodate my 7 channel and 2 channel stereo's. 40" TV and 2X 24" Asus monitors. Hifi stereo speakers 7X. desk is made from cabinet grade plywood as a base layer, topped with project panel pine butcher-block. Monitor riser is also the pine, possible that I might go get a piece of 8/4 hardwood with live edge. Black & decker coffee maker... probably the most important part of the build! haha, hey it makes sense to me.... getting coffee lake soon!

So I'm getting this insane PC and want to get 2 GTX 1080s and at least 6 cores for gaming and game development and creation so I need serious horsepower. I have a build and would like insight onto which parts are better and worse. I need to water cool (custom loop) so I need a proof check by you water cooling veterans out there. I'm spending so much money because I want the system to last me a long time, I'm a teen so you know that even the LARGE budget I have, is strict. I can't pay more than $4,800, thanks! Since I am planning on buying components at the end of summer, I would like suggestions on my parts list. I made sure that you guys could comment on the sheet. I'd like to know if it can run games like League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Rust, Day Z, and other games that are not Triple A, while streaming. I have my networking issue solved but that build seems kind of iffy to me, so I'd like some experts opinions, thanks! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hsH3MDCoOBCHc8G97Ya7Te-R-0fJ4FokReFRu-L2jeQ/edit?usp=sharing
