I've seen people with this problem on the internet for research to fix mine but it still doesn't work. My problem occurs when I need to change my PC power cable outlet, so I shut down my computer, unplugged my power cable and plugged it into another outlet, then I startup my PC. But after I logged in, my G430 headset is displayed on the audio section as "USB Advanced Audio Device". I've tried many fixes to solve this problem and nothing works for me. I've tried changing back from LGHUB to LGSoftware, updating from device manager (It doesn't detect new drivers from logitech and keeps using the usb advanced audio thing), and I've tried the solution that fixes all the other peoples problem which is to download the firmware, but after I've installed the firmware it says to "Connect your device to continue" WHILE I'm plugging in my headset through the usb soundcard thing, I've tried changing it to the audio jack and it still doesn't work. I really really love this headset and I would really l ove a feedback from anyone to help me with this. Sorry if I make some grammar mistakes, english isn't my first language. Edit: So I think I didn't explain my problem very well, sorry. So, I wanted to change the power plug/outlet which my PC is plugged into, to another outlet to arrange the cable. So I shut it off after playing a game, turn off the Power Supply, and change the power outlet into another outlet. Then I turn the power supply back on and start the computer. After I boot up my PC, my headset is not recognized as Logitech G430, it's not giving me any audio in and or out, and it's not showing up on the LGHUB and LGSoftware. It is however recognized as "USB Advanced Audio Device" just like the photo above I Posted. I've tried many "solutions" from the internet where people has the same problem as me but it didn't work. TL;DR 1. I wanted to arrange my PC cable 2. Shuted down my computer after playing for awhile 3. Turned off the switch on the power supply 4. Changed the power outlet which my PC was plugged to another outlet. 5. Turned on the power supply and start my PC up. 6. My headset is not recognized as "Logitech G430" and I'm not getting any audio in or out. 7. It's recognized as "USB Advanced Audio Device". 8. Tried many solutions from the internet, still not working. 9. Tried the solutions which solves almost everyone with the same problem which is to download and install the G430 firmware. I did that, but the firmware doesn't recognized my headset like the picture below 10. Tried updating the driver, no logitech driver is detected on my computer. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!! AMA! sorry for bad english/grammar I'm in a lot of stress rn bcs of this thing.

Are Logitech G Pro X gaming headset comfortable for medium/big(large) ears? And are they larger than Logitech G430 (ear pads)

The left ear of my headset snapped.. After so many years of usage, guessing the minor rust it had finally tore the thing apart, currently using it with panzer tape (silver tape?) but seeking a new replacement.. Maybe one of them newer Logitech headsets? Any suggestions?

When I first started my build I didn't put a whole lot of thought into peripherals. It was all about the main rig and all the parts for the build. I ended up with a pretty good monitor upgrade afterwards and then started considering an upgrade from my basic keyboard, mouse, and headphone setup. The easiest choice for me was a Logitech headset once I found the mouse and keyboard combo from them as well. Long story short I sold the Logitech setup and ended up with Corsair upgrades on both keyboard and mouse. After the change I didn't want to keep the mismatched Logitech headset. I looked at a matching Corsair VOID headset but the reviews were not good and actually seeing the biggest complaint first hand (Best Buy display model was in pieces) I decided against it. From there I started digging into online reviews, this forum, and YouTube videos to figure out which direction to go. I wanted a good quality headset with good sound (obviously), worked with the simulated surround sound for FPS, and were aesthetically pleasing. The biggest recommendation was the Cloud series from HyperX. I picked up a set of the newer Cloud 2's that actually matched my case color (the gray metal). I really enjoyed this headset but I usually end up wondering if I got the best for the money. I wasn't completely happy with them. A friend was recommending the Sennheiser GAME ONE headset and kept telling me how much he liked his. This got me thinking that for a bit more maybe I can get a better headset. Its a dangerous road to go down since it could be a never ending search and more money spent. I took a look at a higher price headset group and came across the new SteelSeries Arctis series. The SteelSeries Arctis seem to be relatively new and I couldn't find many reviews on them. With the reviews that were available it seemed they were worth a look. After a quick swoop down to Best Buy I figured I could try them out and see how they compare to my HyperX Cloud 2's. I think I'm keeping the Arctis 5 headset. Logitech G430: For being my first real headset for PC I really liked it. The sound was good for me and the software helped with the 7.1 and overall sound quality. I found the braided cable to be easy to work with and the inline controls work well. I didn't have any complaints about the headset and never ran into any issues. The real reason I upgraded was for the color option. My case and peripherals were multicolor or red and the headset was blue. No need to upgrade but I had the bug and decided to look into something new. HyperX Cloud 2: The fit on this headset is fantastic. It has the perfect amount of pressure and the faux leather ear cups feel great over my ears. Sound is better than the G430's and the microphone is more clear as well. I found that the inline sound card was great for toggling on the 7.1 and controlling the sound and mic volume. It seems that this headset gets an extra boost of sound as its a lot louder and I can use the headset at about 60% system volume. This a really good headset. SteelSeries Arctis 5: This headset caught my eye from the start. I'm not big into the flashy plastics and colored cups that make it look like a Transformer on my head. I see the gaming headsets as being overly dressed up and a bit too much for what they need to be. Its personal preference but I'm more into the subtle look rather than an in your face with colors. The RGB lighting was an awesome touch with these. Beside the fact that I rarely see it since they're on my head, when I do they look amazing. The colors over the matte black body really pop. The microphone has a red LED on it as well that lights up when the headset is muted. The reviews online say its distracting but I rather like knowing when its muted and I'm not mumbling stupid stuff in game without knowing. It comes with an inline USB sound mixer for chat and game volume but I didnt find it too useful. Its required to use it in order to get the RGB lighting, however. Custom lighting is easy to control and the app is nice enough to set it and not need to mess with it afterwards. The whole reason I considered these was because of the RGB lighting, subtle looks, and the sound quality the few reviews rated well. Sound quality is great and the simulated surround does very well in game. Music sounds great as well as movies. In comparison to the Cloud 2's I would say it has an overall better sound but not as good bass. The fit of the headset is more loose and doesn't create a tight cup around the ears like the Clouds. This might be because of the different ear pads as these are the foam and not the faux leather but it feels mostly like there isn't enough pressure on the headset against my head. I'm keeping the SteelSeries because I just cant get myself to switch back. I think I'll miss the Clouds but it doesn't bother me too much not having them around.

I was wondering if I should use my leftover usb sound card from by G430s for a pair of HD 598 CS or would it just be better to use my on board audio? Also I will not be purchasing a dac or amp because the CS model of the 598s are rated at 23 ohms.

Hello guys, I'm having a serious issue with my Logitech G430 gaming headset. A couple of days ago, my friends told me over skype that my mic was cutting out, and I was able to fix it by restarting my PC. Two days later, my microphone is so spotty that I had to switch it to an USB dongle, by plugging the jacks into the USB, and plugging it into my PC. It's a little bit better now, but I fear either something is wrong with my headset, or the microphone port on my motherboard. I'd be very grateful if you guys could offer some advice. I have an MSI Z170A GAMING M3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard. All help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

I am having problems with my mic. I've had the mic and pc for a long time but recently reinstalled windows. Microphone is picked up as a source by audio settings. But it is not working in my programs (discord, games.) Now in the Sound settings, there's a option to play the mic audio through the speakers, and that works, (I can hear myself talking). Setup is windows 10 Mic is Logitech G430 headset 3.5 green/pink > USB adaptor I have tried plugging the mic in to the back 3.5mm on both back and front of the computer, and I don't get any registration of its existence. 3.5mm on back goes to my stereo, works fine. Not muted, defiantly checked that. so m mic just started working, now mt whu ke is not working.

Hello everyone. So i want to buy a new pair of headphones for my PC and i was searching quite a bit so i finally came down to either of these 2 models . I have read in most reviews that the Logitech G430 are better than the Razer Kraken Pro V2 in almost every aspect but one critical point the are suffering is the Noise reduction from the enviroment around you which is one of the most important things for me since the place where my pc is located is quite close to the living room and the tv there and i really want to feel isolated from those sounds as much as possible. In this aspect i read that the Razer ones are better... So my question is what do i do ? Do i go for the worse sound but the better noise reduction or vice versa ? And if you know any better could you tell how much of a difference in noise reduction are we talking about between those 2 models ? I am also open to anyone suggesting any other headset that might be better in this price range or a little above and that most of all ensures great noise reduction. Thanks in advance !

I have been using a set of logitech G430 headphones for a little while now, ever since I got them I've experienced a few bugs or glitches. The main problem is that whenever i unplug them, the software crashes, and it also crashes whenever i wake my computer from sleep, which i do a lot, to make it more irritating, after restarting the logitech gaming software, some games sound doesn't return without restarting the game completely. I am also using a logitech G502, unplugging that does nothing. and seems to have no effect. The headset is plugged in via usb. Sorry if I missed any important info, most of my specs are on my profile. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

First off, hardware specs: Intel i7 4770(non k) MSI R9 280X 3GB Edition MSI H81M-P33 Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB HyperX Fury Black DDR3 1x8GB @1600Mhz Peripherals: Shitty nonamer brand mouse and keyboard Logitech G430 Headset So, the thing is, I have been getting this BSOD at random times, not necessarily while gaming. It has happened on windows 8.1 before, not happening on windows 10. The error code is 3b, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION(ladfGSRamd64.sys). It appears to be a Logitech driver. I have contacted Logitech support but got a most probably automatic message sayingn the BSOD wasn't because of the driver, and there may be something wrong with my motherboard drivers. Can anyone here help? I can provide any further information needed. All responses appreciated.

Hey all, I have a Logitech G430 headset and it was fine 2 hours ago, but suddenly it has decided to stop working. The mike works fine, my friends can hear me over skype, but the audio does not work. I can't hear people on skype, can't hear in-game volume etc. I tried switching to another pair of headphones but with the same result. This is obviously a software problem, and I need help! Thanks! Edit: I can hear myself talking through the mike in the headset

Hi there LTT forum dwellers, I have an issue and i'm unsure as to how to solve it. First of all, I called a friend on Skype, and the headset was working fine, the side-tone was working as it should and I could here Skype sounds and my friend fine, however Skype wasn't picking up my microphone. So I tried to fix this by going into Recording devices in windows and seeing if there was an issue there, to which i found none. I clicked on the restore default button for the device, and the side-tone stopped working. I then thought maybe reinstalling the headset all together might work, so i unplugged the headset (USB connection) and uninstalled the Logitech driver software, then plugged the headset back into the same USB port (on the motherboard) and nothing changed, Skype and windows found the device but my microphone still wasn't working, I tried restarting my PC, with no progress, and i've tried plugging the headset into a different USB port, so that the drivers would install again, however now the Logitech driver software cannot detect my headset. However the side-tone is now working (however it's very quiet) and my friend says that i'm quiet on Skype. So i'm a bit confused as to what to do. Just wondering if I could get any advice on the situation, thanks

I have been looking at the hyperX cloud, G430 and the GameCom 788. but i don't know what is best or if there is something i am missing. I would like a mic on the headset unless somebody can point me in the direction of a mic as well. Thanks

So my Razer Taimat 2.2's died or something a little while ago. (could never figure out the problem but i think something happened to the cord because the sound would only be normal if it was held a certain way) Now i am in need of a new gaming headset because i am now sick of my samsung earbuds and want some nicer quality ones. i have narrowed down my decision to two headsets, but i am still open for other suggestions. 1. HyperX clouds - $120 AUD http://www.ple.com.au/ViewItem.aspx?InventoryItemId=615732 2. Logitech G430 - $100 AUD at Jb-Hi-Fi (i have a $200 gift card from Christmas for this store so thats why i'm getting it there) https://www.jbhifi.com.au/games-consoles/platforms/gaming-headset/logitech-g430-digital-gaming-headset/319316/ I don't really want to spend much more than this because i will be buying my gaming PC soon. The HyperX's are very highly regarded across the internet and they do seem very nice but they lack surround sound which is meant to be important for gaming and make "a better experience" and such. The g430's have got 7.1 surround sound though and are less expensive but they don't seem to be as high quality in the feel/ergonomics side of things. could i get some opinions please?

Hello, Greetings, I have heard that the included soundcard in the g430 headset does not do it justice. If this is true please reccomend an external soundcard that will allow me to use the g430 to it's fullest,if external soundcards won't do the trick then I am ok with internal ones as well. And please make sure that the soundcard is 7.1. Thank you.

When I first started using my g430 headset the noise cancelling feature on the microphone was working perfectly as in only picking up when it was near my face and snapping behind it and other noises like clicking were not audible, I've tried searching the internet and found on a support forum recently that other users had said logitech put out a firmware update taking out the noise cancelling because people were complaining about having a hard time being heard. Has anyone on here heard about this or know anything about a possible fix? Its the only thing about my headset that isnt functioning properly and Its hard to get resolved. I have tried multiple usb ports and done a plethora of things like reinstalling drivers and such. Any help is appreciated.

Are the Logitech gaming headsets any good? Is the G35 , G430 worth it in your opinions? I personally own a G35 but it broke and logitech sent me a replacement. I am asking because my brother wants a headset and he purchased a G430 and I hes wondering if he should take it back because it seems a bit flimsy. What is your opinion?

Hello, I am deciding on whether to get a Logitech G430 @ $55. I am a bit skeptical as Hardware Cannucks reviewed the headset and it didn't go so well. I've searched up on some issues regarding the G430 and they all make me worry if I get this pair of headset. I don't have a sound card and use on-board audio, my motherboard is about 4-6 years old and I am not sure if I should get a sound card or not as I plan to build a new computer within 3 years. The main reason for getting this headset is to listen to music and play some casual games such as BF3 and Starcraft 2. The surround wouldn't be useful to me unless it helps my music experience. I would most likely use the USB sound card as my on-board audio is ancient. Would this be a good buying decision or should I save the money to spend on my future computer build?
