Hey guys, currently running a Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 gaming, love the card no problems runs everything awesomely. Anyway, I came across the EVGA hybrid water cooler for 1080's/1070's (yes I know the brands are different) does anyone know if I would be able to fit it to the Gigabyte 1070 or if there are any other all in one coolers on the market for GPU's? Cheers

Hi everyone, I recently decided to try to overclock my G1 Gaming 980 Ti a bit more by tweaking the voltage (I kept it at 1440MHz which was the most stable I could do with stock voltage, and I was satisifed with that), but I ran into something weird. I was at roughly 1.18V without any overvoltage, but when trying to increase the said voltage, I couldn't go past 1.205V even with +0.087V (tested on OC Guru, Afterburner and Precision X). I set the power target to 130% every time but it didn't change anything. Impossible to go past 1460MHz without throttling. From HardOCP, this GPU can easily go to 1.24V without any VBIOS tweak, so I don't understand what's happening here. Any ideas ? I don't know if this could be hardware related (defective VRMs ?) or software related...

PC Specs: CPU: i7 6700 GFX Card: Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1080 (running using the XTREME Gaming OC software @ recommended OC setting) Memory: 32GB RAM Monitor: Asus PG279Q G-Sync 144Hz Monitor Newly built PC, about 2 months old. 2 weeks ago, I noticed that my games, particularly Overwatch, would microstutter in certain parts of the game. Example of stutter captured HERE. This problem would happen on other games too, just not as often. The problem would also persist on desktop especially right after quitting a game. Around this time, I also noticed that when playing back videos (like on YouTube) on Chrome, I would see artifacts and patterns at the beginning that would disappear after I pause/play or rewind the video. I first tried reverting back to the factory core clock settings of my gfx card. It fixed the video artifacts issue, but the microstutter happening in-game still persisted. I also tried rolling back the Nvidia drivers but the same issues are present. I just deleted the Gigabyte XTREME gaming OC software completely, and also completely uninstalled/re-installed the Nvidia drivers. Will monitor what happens next. Hope I can get more info on this issue! Hope it's not a hardware problem. Thanks!

Hi all, Relevant specs: MOBO: Aorus B450 Elite GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6G RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 3200Mhz 2x8. As per description Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0 is not detecting my gigabyte gpu, It is detecting mobo and corsair ram fine though! It seems many users do have this problem and no one found a fix yet. I tried numerous suggestions like: removing drivers with DDU, installing egb fusion, gigabyte app manager and xtremem engine in some specific order. As it seems though I might have just found an important clue. I have noticed that the installer sometimes prompts me to install Visual Studio 2015 and it fails. I have installed it manually but that did not help. I have started playing with all redist installations 2012, 2013, 2015 and later ones aswell, and I have noticed that when unistalling one of those, my ram will not be detected yet my mobo is still detected fine. That suggests that parts of software were coded using different Visual studio libraries from different "ages" and mashed toegether. So I really hope that some awkward variation of different Visual studio packages will work eventually! If someone has any idea how to make it run, please let me know!

Hi, Topic pretty much covers the main question, does GIGABYTE GTX1060 G1 Gaming 6GB has any way to sync RGB with other components?

Hello there first time posting oke so during the day my fan (third one furthest away from the IO plate) broke off so the "mount" where the fan is fixed on is still working so its spinning. went to the shop they told me in two mins they couldn't fix it gave it back and where like "GL" Looking at the specific fan it doesn't seem to be like "buy a random new fan and continue" Now I think I would need to replace the entire shroud (the windforce one) with a new one or is there any other solution? atm i'm using it with 2 of the fans working but yeah my card is already at 62°c on 0 load while writing this and I bet my card isn't going to see the end of 2018 like this. is there anyone here that could help me further (has a idea where I could buy such parts and fix it my self it doesn't look hard just 4 little screws) I been looking around on the internet but can't seem to find any place that sells these kind of things I'm from belgium so if you know any place in EU i could buy stuff off that be great I'm also not a pro at building pcs. I'm trying my best to find it myself and so but I need some help and like advice (putting glue on it probs isn't a good idea ) ...just want to fix this myself since the shop "can't" help even tho even I know there are aftermarket fans that they could of looked into If I missed any information i'm sorry i'll try to add it when needed Thanks for reading Saro

Helle everyone. My rig is not the newest but it still performs very well, and I will not make any big changes in the near future. But I have been thinking about updating my GPU Bios after having read there would be some upsides. 0 rpm fan mode being one. As far as I understand this requires a Bios update, since my version is F2 - and there are like up to F50+ I will have to make several updates in a specific order. I have found the next version to update to, but now I am kinda stuck since none of the methods I have found to do the Bios flash seem to be working. Gigabytes own VGA@Bios tool doesn't acknowledge my card since my MOBO is not a Gigabyte. Which apparently is a must!? Nvflash and some other tools have also been on my radar, but they either dont work, or I dont feel comfortable trying them for different reasons. The tutorials found on youtube weren't much help so Im asking the forum here. I need some advice, tips, hints or what you might have to make this happen - even reasons why I shouldn't do this. Thank you Simon

I can't find any info on the gigabyte website but was wondering how hot can the g1 gaming gtx 1070 run until it isn't safe anymore? I've set the fan configuration on the gigabyte overclocking tool to the silent option but haven't done any overclocking to it and the temps i get are the following. 1080p: anywhere between 70 and 75 as maximum. 4k: anywhere between 75 and 78 as maximum. Never seen it go past 80 degrees.

I know it sounds weird. Here is the thing. I tried to to change my LED from my gtx1060 g1 gaming with RGBfusion and it got stuck on one color. Now this happened before and I fixed it by formatting my pc and I am not going to do that again. I always thought it was just the LED and it couldnt hurt my performance, but back then I saw my fps going from 230+ to just 150 or less. At the worst times it would drop to 70 and that is kinda annoying with a 144hz monitor, especially playing ranked games. It does the same again now and it really bothers me. The Fan Stop LED is always on, even though my fans are spinning while gaming. My GPU also stays around 55 or less degrees (even went down to 49). Normally it would be around 59-64 degrees (Overwatch). Everything worked fine untill I wanted to change my LED. Thing i've tried: - reinstalling appcenter with all utilies - reinstalling aorus graphic engine - reinstalling xtreme gaming engine - clearing cmos - reinstalling nvidia drivers - reinstalling overwatch i've installed them all 1 by 1. Gigabyte's support is the worst thing out there. I tried to send them a message but all I got was something with "servers are busy, try again later". I've tried it multiple times. Had the same error like a month ago before i formatted my pc. Pc specs, dont know if it matters: i7-6700k stock speed gigabyte g1 gaming gtx1060 rev1.0 z270x ultra gaming nzxt kraken x62

I was overclocking my card and had an overclock of about 135mhz on the core and 500mhz on the memory with a +.025 voltage but it was still slightly unstable. I brought it down a little and ran Firestrike to check performance and it was all of a sudden halved. For reference, I was getting a score of 15,100 with stock settings, but now I only get 8,200 on stock. GPU load is 100%, temps weren't going as high as they were only 41*C when they were getting up to around 60 so I suspect something isn't being fully utilised. I have no idea what to do. Specs are: Gigabyte GTX 980 ti G1 Gaming 6GB, i7 4970k, 16gb ram, MSI Z97 Guard-Pro MB, CoolerMaster G750M PSU. Using Gigabyte's OC Guru to overclock.

I'm working on doing a big upgrade to my pc: I'm currently using a fractal define r5 with an evga gtx 970, i5-4690k, as well as other stuff, but most of it will be replaced in this update. I want to go mITX and I'm planning on getting the Phanteks evolv itx. For mobo and graphics card, I'm looking at the evga z170 stinger (I'm planning on getting a 6600k or 6700k) and a gigabyte g1 gaming 1070. I want the stinger mobo because it just looks good and has good reviews, and I like that io cover. I don't really care that it doesn't have an M.2 slot because I already have a 250gb 850 evo and getting a more expensive M.2 for even better speeds aren't really worth it to me. I'm thinking the g1 gaming 1070 because it's one of the cheaper 1070's, and it also has rgb lighting, which is a big feature for me, especially because the evolv itx has a window, unlike my R5. I've heard that there can be some clearance issues with the io cover on the front of the motherboard (if you don't know what I'm talking about here's a picture) and backplates on gpus. I was wondering if before I drop $430 on that 1070 if anyone could tell me if that specific gpu or another gpu with a backplate fits, and by how much. Any help or suggestions are great, thanks!

Just bought a Gigabyte 1070 G1 Gaming, my motherboard is a GA-Z97X-UD7 with a 4790k running windows 10 pro 64bit, as soon as i installed the card I instarted getting random crashing black screen and buzzing from speakers while browsing watching YouTube, just normal usage. I installed back my , GTX 770 and everything went back to normal, so my first thought was i had a bad video card. So i tested the card in another computer i have with an Asus board and a 2500k cpu it has a PCIe 2.0 and windows 10 64 bit fresh install. It never crashed, tested gaming too, no problem. Just to be sure i tested the card in a friends computer, similar rig to mine. Tested gaming, stress benchmarks and watching a lot of videos, Autocad and photoshop, worked perfectly. I tried again in my computer but in a different pci slot PCIeX8, the computer doesnt crash but display artifacts in mp4 videos, weird behaviour. I put back the card to the PCIex16 and crashes again, then i tested the card in my PCIex4 slot and the card was stable, just ocassinaly some blocks in the videos. If i uninstall the driver and use generic windows driver crashes wont happen. This is list of things i have tried without succes:- Tried 3 different drivers using UDD first- Updating Motherboard Bios- Bios default settings- Fresh Windows 10 reinstall- Switch PSU with my other rig 650 and 700W coolermaster. - Bought a corsair 750 psu (other forums insisted in a psu)- Tried another monitor- Tried another output int he card (dvi, hdmi)- Disconect all extra hard disks and extra stuff.- Disable onboard audio- Link state power managment off in power settings- Look all over the internet for solutionsAt this point in losing my mind. I hope someone can shed some light on the issue.

I am worried abour screen tearing. Is 60Hz good enough for that video card (i have a i5-6600k)? What monitors would you recommend?

Hey guys, I've got a quick little question. Does anyone know the exact length of the pcb of the Gigabyte gtx 970 G1 Gaming? I know the aircooler extends the length of the card and I can't find the length of the pcb itself anywhere. Just the length with the cooler attached to it. Does anyone know the lengthof the pcb only? If you know the length, please post in mm. Thanks in advance!

So I kinda have a problem, And its with overclocking my gpu. So I dedicated my entire day yesterday, to find how far I could push my card. However once I thought I had reached its "sweet Spot" and stress tested it for a while, I would double check it by running another stress test. The problem Is that the overclock would normally reset on the second test, even though it had not reset on the long first one. I stayed patient and dialed it down some, and tried again, and this time after stress testing all day, the overclock stuck with no other problems either. Then I went to bed, and after I woke up and tried to play a game, it reset. Am I doing anything wrong? I will say im pretty new to doing this, but Ive read a lot of guides and such, and have good cooling, so why does it do that?

Hi. I'm going to build a gaming PC soon and I have to choose a GPU and a low profile case (for when I travel). I have narrowed my decision between Gigabyte GTX 980ti G1 Gaming OC and MSI Gtx 980ti Gaming 6G. I will be building it in a Fractal Design NODE 202 or Silverstone RVZ02B. So which GPU and case do you think will be better? Thank You.

Basically I've been on the fence about an R9 380 or a GTX 960 for ages. Both I'm looking at 4GB models. I've found an R9 380 4GB windforce 2x for £170 and a G1 Gaming 960 for the same price. Anyone know which will perform better once overclocked. Purely a gaming build with an i3-4170 and 8GB of RAM.
