Recently dota 2 a steam game had an update with battle pass, somehow the game started to spike its CPU process. Before, I can still browse chrome with multiple tabs, open Adobe apps and play. I tried troubleshooting it myself guided by other forums and answers from users that had the same problem and had it fixed. Here are my specs: intel i3-3240 8gb of Ram GTX 750 TI My troubleshooting so far - CPU temperature is in normal condition with average of 45C in idle and not above 65C when launching apps - GPU is enabled for the game using windows apps - Checked for possible bottleneck, its compatible - Scanned my pc for potential virus, adware cleaner managed to catch one - Minimized the video settings in-game - Tweaked the nvidia control panel (VSync off) and other stuff - Most recently used the 2 cores from msconfig setting - Played without any app running on the background, but it still uses 100% CPU as seen in the screenshot I really tried to sort this thing out using the internet, I hope someone with better knowledge can help me out. Thanks P.S. I know someone already posted something similar here, however that post didn't helped me that much

Logitech G402 hyperion fury has great reviews and a quite good sensor(AM010) but G403 has similar reviews but an excellent sensor(PWM3360) and is a little costly. I like the design of G402 but the design of G403 aint bad either So i dont know which one to buy but it will mostly depend on accuracy in gaming for CSGO etc Pls help me make reach a decision. I am open to other suggestions as well.

I recently moved out to a new place and ever since I moved this weird problem been happening. When I play DOTA 2, once every two or games or so I get connection problem and disconnection in 20 seconds. It goes away after like 7 seconds but then the game freezes, nothing out of it position. The heroes still have their moving animation and I can still hear sounds of things happening. Sometimes I reset my PC it fixes but most of the time it doesn't. I have selected "I have low end network" in the menu and checked display network information. It says I have 120 fps, <100 ping, loss out 0. 'Loss in' is frozen at which ever the frame that all heroes stop at, which varies from 9 to 900. There is one time though that the connection problem actually ticked all the way down to 0 and disconnected me from the game and this is what it said. (picture 1) So I play DOTA 2 along side with other games like PUGB, ARK, Paladins. But this problem only occur when I play DOTA 2. YouTube videos still loads, skype and discord calls still function perfectly fine. I tried to 'Verify integrity of game files', reinstalling and reinstalling to a newer hard drive. My friends are telling me to change my internet provider but I don't know if that is possible because the place I am renting now has internet pre installed and comes with the bundle of monthly rent fee. Is there anything I can do at this point?

Sorry for long post, but I am desperate for a solution to an issue I know from experience to be very time-consuming. I replaced all but the case and GPU in my PC and made fresh Windows 10 installation on new SSD. The aforementioned crashes ONLY happen in Dota 2 (granted the only other game I've played on here is WoW Classic), and make the game unplayable, because it is an online competitive action-RTS game (also, I hate to admit, a huge part of my life), for those who aren't familiar. And time lost is game-losing. Anyway, I encountered my first problems when I installed the latest AMD driver and software. Halfway through the cursor disappeared, the screen froze, and the GPU fan went to max RPM, followed by black screen. Upon rebooting, all seemed well as Windows update appeared to fill in the blanks in drivers (I had not yet connected to my internet when I attempted to install video drivers), and I got the AMD software by running setup from the C:\AMD directory. The Dota 2 client recommended that I set it to use DX11, so that is what I still have it on. I encountered problems in my first game with a bit of strange stuttering, and then the first blue screen. In subsequent Dota matches I have had 1-4 game crashes per game where the process quits with no warning. As far as the Windows blue screens, I have had 3 of them so far (they occur while Dota 2 is running), and they are always a different stop code (I wish I had recorded them), but a couple remind me of video driver issues I've had before on other systems. I am quite hesitant to uninstall/reinstall the driver as doing so in past AMD driver issues on a certain other system has always led to me having to reinstall Windows with still at best a partial fix on the original issue (at worst the card becomes entirely unusable), so I would like to receive input from others before I try anything. Here is driver and software info from the application: Radeon Settings Version - 2019.0903.1407.25433 View Release Notes - https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-19-9-1 Driver Packaging Version - 19.30.01.50-190903a-346453E-RadeonSoftwareAdrenalin2019 Provider - Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. 2D Driver Version - 8.1.1.1634 Direct3D® Version - 9.14.10.01410 OpenGL® Version - 26.20.11000.13571 AMD Audio Driver Version - 10.0.1.6 Vulkan™ Driver Version - 2.0.106 Vulkan™ API Version - 1.1.119 And here is my system: MSI B450 Tomahawk mobo Ryzen 2600X Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3466Mhz 16-18-18-36(?) AMD RX 470 4GB A good NVMe M.2 SSD Also please note I have the XMP memory profile on as well as "game boost" from BIOS (CPU multiplier up such that freq is 4.05Ghz). And temps have been fine, no more than 70C on anything under load. My PC otherwise runs flawlessly. Any suggestions that could help me at all are greatly appreciated! Thanks so so much for your time.

Hello! I recently just assembled a budget gaming pc composing of these specs: -Intel Core I5-3470 CPU (Stock Cooler) -Kingston 1x8GB 1866MHz RAM -Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 MOBO (Limits the RAM to 1333mHz) -Palit NVIDIA GTX 1050 GPU -Western Digital Green 2TB HDD -SilverStone Strider Essential 500W PSU -Unactivated Windows 10 I have recently just built this PC and have only installed the GPU Drivers and Malwarebytes and as well as Steam and my games. Now, I am particularly a fan of Dota 2, and I'm very sad to see that in 1080p Ultra (or even just High) settings, my average FPS is only around 65-70 and drops heavily down to 50 or even as low as 45 during intensive clashes. This is a real letdown for me since I upgraded from a I3-3220 to an I5-3470 just for this game (because it is more CPU intensive, and the i3-3220 only has 2 cores). Even worse is that I chose the i5-3470 because reviews on YouTube (specially one by TechYESCity) because lots of benchmarks on there showed Dota 2 with the same CPU having averaging 100+ fps and dipping only to 90fps during heavy clashes. TechYESCity's video also compared it to the Ryzen 3 2200G in several games, and it seemed to be on par with it and was actually usable in 2019. Running statistics on RivaTuner, I see that my CPU is indeed using 100% (I ran a benchmark lasting 5 mins at a lategame replay in Dota, where fights become more chaotic) and is running at 55°C - 60°C at 3.2GHz, which confuses me because it says it can Turbo to 3.6GHz and other benchmarks show their i5-3470s at least getting 3.4GHz I'm not an expert or anythig, so the only thing I can say is it's maybe either because the MoBo is old and I haven't updated the BIOS or Chipset or whatever it's called, or maybe because I have an Unactivated Windows 10 (will buy soon). I don't think it's because of Malware because I've only just built this PC with nothing else but games and movies, and I have malwarebytes installed and have run it and cleared any threats. I want to run this game on High FPS even just at 90fps so that I can use my monitor's 75Hz refresh rate (This is also recent and I have wanted to try this, but so far, has only been achieved on medium-low settings on Dota 2). Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated!

Can I build a system with a Ryzen 2400g CPU and a discreet graphics card for gaming and streaming at 720p or possibly even 1080p? It's for exports title mainly Dota 2. If not can anyone recommend a good cpu or even a whole build for a low budget 720p gaming and streaming Dota2.

Hi! How is everybody? Right now I have a PC with ASUS Z270f board, a GTX 1050 Ti, 32 GB Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz RAM and a dual core CPU, not to mention SSDs and hard drives. I know that spending on a 7700K is not worth it today since Ryzen 3300X exists. However I already have a working motherboard with slow 2400 MHz Ram sticks which are not ideal for a Ryzen build. I normally play CSGo, Dota 2 and some indie games. But I might decide to start playing Red dead redemption 2 and GTA VI at 1080p 72Hz in the near future. So, what do I do? I don't really want the transition to a AM4 motherboard. Do you think I should go for the i5 7500? Thanks
