So, just got my hands with Corsair CX 500. Put it in my system to replace the Delta unit that suppose to be dead. Well. Or is it? So, @STRMfrmXMN the fan sound went up again. I did not really pay attention to that. But it did. However it was not caused by a crash at all. I turned off PC before and booted it up fresh. (not the first time booting with the new PSU CX 500. The first time has no problem) The only thing that can cause that loud noise is my GPU or something related to that. What are the chance the newly bought CX500 is already showing signs of death? I am trying to look at error messages from Event Viewer and see what causes because last time the GPU made those sounds it was caused by a crash and showed same error message. The error messages are now different. The previous ones (mind you they gave 3 errors and from the same ID too and happened twice) were caused by some applications/programs not working properly, as diagnosed by @DeadEyePsycho (this community is great). So maybe not the card issue but more like driver issue? Stupid AMD ReLive? So dear PSU wizards, which of the following PSU is better? I can either return CX500 or keep it and sell Delta PSU, it all works for me I don't really care Delta 500AB-6A (no info on it whatsoever but a lot of hype around the brand, also I have a silverish case so it would look nicer) Corsair CX 500 (green label, seems to be TIER 5) I will also try to RMA the card too. I threw away the package but still have online receipt. Though if it doesn't crash any more I will keep it, too lazy for me to do so lol, so far with new PSU nothing is wrong. Though I will also do some Furmark meanwhile later.

So yeah. I need a 6pin PCIe to 4 pin molex adapter. I bought one of the 120mm Delta 250 CFM monsters and need to power it. I have a spare rail I'm not using on my PSU and want to hook it up to that. ALSO need to know if there's such a adapter that lets you hook the PWM connector up to the board for RPM control, but it still draw power from a dedicated line. I've seen fans with the feature built in, but never a stand alone adapter.

So i ordered a centrifugal Delta fan (BFB1612) and im intrested in making a custom mounting for it, what materials should i use to make a custom mounting. The fans dimensions are 159x165x40. The goal is to focus the air straight to the rear fan and out of the pc since centrifugan fans are good for that type. P.S does anyone know if they can power a 48v fan in a pc or does it have to be custom?

I am starting a project to make an electric bike, so i stared to print the gears for it, but i noticed on the teeth for the belt the quality is just crap, every where else is nice and smooth for the most part, but the only part that matters does not look good. It is going about 35 mm/s when it goes to the teeth. What could i do to make this not as bad as it looks, because im afraid if it will even sit with the belt right now.

Its my first time watercooling, so just wanted the advice of someone more experienced. This is my system: Ryzen 5 2600x with EK Supremacy Evo block (not OC'ed) Strix 2060 OC with Bitspower Brizo full cover block (OC'ed sustaining 2070MHz under full load, no voltage increase) EK Coolstream PE360 with three Vardar fans in push EK D5 pump/res combo. Loop order: Res -> Pump -> Rad -> CPU -> GPU I measure water temperature after the radiator with an inline temp sensor fitting. I know, i know: "Why would You watercool a 2060... etc etc". Because I thoroughly enjoy it and because i like a silent computer. Anyways... The GPU block is the latest addition. And while my chip temperatures are great compared with the aircooler, i'm afraid the block might not be mounted as well as it could be. Several places I can read that the delta between the GPU and the water should really be less than 10C, and for a decent block probably more like 5C. And given that this is for higher powered GPUs than my measly 2060 I would expect my delta to be probably more like the latter. But I am typically seeing my GPU temperature at around 50C with a water temperature of 36C or so under load. My question is this: My temps are just fine for all practical purposes, but it annoys me to know that I might be missing out on 5-10C lower temps. Are the 5C deltas I read about online just bragging or is this really what i SHOULD be seeing? I don't want to reseat the block for no reason.

so I have 3 vega 64s for 3D rendering work. due to thermal throttling caused by having them stacked together I decided to strap a more powerful delta fan onto the coolers. (PFR0912XHE) Its a 4 wire fan. due to its power I cant use the 64s fan header, or even a mobo header for the power wires. so I have the red and black wired up to a molex 12v. and then the blue and yellow wires onto the 64s fan header to control the speed. but when I turn the pc on the fan spins at 100% as if the blue and yellow are detached. and Radeon software shows 0rpm on the fan as if it isn't connected. anyone have tips for fixing this?

Hi everyone. is this a good PSU? My friend gave it to me, and im thinking to replace it with my old one My current psu: Seasonic s12ii-620 i will use i7 990x 4ghz + r9 290x oced.

Yayy, test time. How much does the airflow through a radiator really matter?? I got 4x PFC1212DE-PWM high speed "server" fans for fun, decided to try them on my 480 mm radiator and do a comparison against regular Noctuas on a 360 mm. Test setup: Procedure - Main heat load produced with CPU running Prime95 small FFT AVX - Tested both idle and load, with only 3x Noctuas and with only 4x Deltas - other radiator fans off, pumps max. - Monitored: ambient temp (in the video both in and out are in the room), water temp (inline sensor), CPU cores temp, PSU power output (Delta fans ran from a different PSU and were not included in the measurement). System CPU: i7 3970X, load @ 4.7 GHz, 1.40 V GPU: HD 7850 idling PSU: Corsair AX860i (core temps & power monitoring 1/sec) Water loop Rad1: Alphacool UT60 360 mm (with 3x Noctua) Rad2: Alphacool UT60 480 mm (with 4x Delta) Rad3: Phobya Xtreme Nova 1080 mm (with 9x Corsair ML, off all the time) Pumps: 3x Laing D5 vario in series 1x Alphacool CPU block 1x Alphacool universal block Fans - 3x Noctuas (2x NF-F12 PWM + 1x NF-P12 PWM) - 4x Delta PFC1212DE-PWM Note: Deltas were mounted with shrouds made diy-style from some 120 mm fan rims in hopes of reducing the large dead spot in the center. All runs (1-4. 1st day, 5-7. 2nd day) 1. Idle - Noctuas idle, Deltas off, pumps min 2. Idle - Noctuas idle, Deltas off, pumps max 3. Idle - Noctuas max, Deltas off, pumps max 4. Idle - Noctuas off, Deltas max, pumps max 5. Idle - Noctuas max, Deltas off, pumps max 6. Load - Noctuas max, Deltas off, pumps max 7. Load - Noctuas off, Deltas max, pumps max Note: During run 6. water temp rising from idle, during run 7. water temp cooling from run 6 end. Ambient slowly rising as the room warms up (no A/C). Results Note: Ambient and water temp taken at the end of the runs. CPU cores temp is all cores average taken over a small time period at the end of run. Power is the whole average output during the run. Idle includes the open programs and logging. Accuracy is what it is. At small differences accuracy suffers, but gives the overall idea. Rad size compensated values calculated by increasing the ambient-water ∆ proportionally to rad size difference (marked with red). Video runs 5-7 Some observations - At load Deltas lowered water ∆ from 11.5C to 4.3C when comparing rad size compensated values (167% more powerful cooling) - Changing pumps from setting 1 (min) to 5 (max) increased power draw by ~40 W - Idle to full CPU load increased the system power draw by about 320 W. - When on, the Delta fans themselves should warm the room air with about 200 W of heat output Bonus clip for whoever made it down here Happy water cooling! I will be running with the Deltas at full blast from now on.

So i have already done this but of course i didnt bother seeing if itd be ok. So on the stock intel cooler they have latches to take off the (what i think is) aluminum heat sink and washed it off with warm water and a towel. Obviously its just aluminum but i was wondering if cleaning it with water is okay and if i needed to do it in the first place. I already put it back on to the fan and onto the MOBO.

I'm working on a build that I plan to keep in a closet. Motherboard is Asus Z270E. I bought a Delta Fan and it states that it is 3.3 amp. H_AMP fan connector runs up to 3amp. Do I get a different fan? Do I adjust the fan curve to max out at ~85% or so? Personally I plan to test it by throttling the fan speed to less than the max. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007WLPNPW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.asus.com/us/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-STRIX-Z270E-GAMING/specifications/

Hello everybody, I just recently installed an ASUS Strix gtx 970 in my computer. However, after an upgrade I noticed my power supply gave off a little whistle from the back. This mostly happens when the card is under load. I got a 500watt Delta Electronics PSU carrying 45 amps on the 12v rails. Before the 970, i had an OEM gtx 760 which was underclocked to 823mhz from the factory and TDP being 130w. As 970 has a tdp of 145w ( im not overclocking at all ), only with 15 watt gain, PSU gives off such scary noise. When I had the 760 installed, PSU was still giving out noise like its working (almost like hdd load sound). Is there anything that i could do to stop this besides getting a new psu? (just blew all my cash on the card bc i saw i could run it watt-wise and amp-wise ). I really don't want to fry this computer as i got literally no money to build another one in the nearest future,

So, 13 delta fans, if the 50mm variety (about) are loud. Like super loud. At full load you can almost make out each fans slightly different ton. During boot it sounds like Delta tried to summon Satan with fan calls and that the sound I hear is Satan himself ear fucking me with his deamonic manhood. Let us all take a moment to pray for my hearing, which will be dead why time I wake up, not that I can actually sleep with 13 tiny delta fans, no whirinh away but grinding in the air and bouncing around inside the tiny case.

I need a replacement charger for my laptop and the cheapest I've found is ~$70. Does anyone know where I can get a cheaper one in the US? http://www.adapter.cc/products/Delta-20V-2.25A-ADP%252d45BE-AA-AC-Adapter.html I need the one with the round plug:

With a swiftech quad 120mm radiator, would the delta 5500rpm fans be the most effecient choice for a push pull configuration? Also, thoughts on that vs a triiple 140mm radiator using industrial 158cfm noctua fans? NOISE NOT AN ISSUE (obviously)

So if got a 120*38mm thick Delta to replace the 120*25mm thick SP120PE that i have in push/pull on my H80i. The Delta will be push only. But the problem is that the H80i screws are too short. The radiator screws for the H80i are: 6 -32 x 1 1/4". So i need replacement screws.

Hello everyone! Don't think this has been posted here before, but... This is a batch file I found and use to remove the toolbars, bloatware, general crap from computers (and also some of the preinstalled packages that come on dell and HP machines). It doesn't check to confirm if the program is installed, just runs a quick uninstall command, if its not installed then it doesn't really matter and it just keeps going. *** Each program removal is covered by an ECHO command above it so you can see what's being removed and were in the script it happens, if you do not want to remove any of the programs, just remove the ECHO and any lines below it until the next ECHO Also it's fairly easy to add your own uninstallers, should be fairly self explanitory when you see the code! If you're not familiar with batch files, just copy the following code into notepad++ (normal notepad will do.....) and save it as something.bat with the file type set to 'all files' Source: I've been running a 500W OEM PSU from Delta for about a year now, both in the pre-built it came in and my current custom rig using most of the parts from said pre-built. It's always been a bit on the loud side just in terms of fan noise, and has recently also developed some slightly annoying coil whine. Today I booted up my PC and noticed a slight sort of clicking noise coming from it. It went away after booting but came back under load during games. I'm not sure if it's even the PSU (could be anything really) but it's just something to note. So I've been looking to upgrade my GTX 760 to a 960 or 970 and with that I would probably buy a new PSU. So my question is, how urgent is it that I upgrade/ how likely is it this thing will blow up the whole rig? Also what PSU's would you recommend for an upgrade? I was thinking something like a Supernova 750 B2 from EVGA but maybe you guys would recommend otherwise? Specs: i5 4460 ASRock Z97 Extreme4 OEM Asus GTX 760 16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1TB WD Blue Total max system power draw is around 450W. Thanks!

Case just arrived from newegg. 10$AR Thoughts? Suggestions? This is a build for my parents, they don't play games so gpu isn't important. Recapped Delta 400w power supply Intel pentium e5300 oced to 4.3 @1.4v for the luls, 3.4 daily. 2x2gb Geil 1333 RAM 320GB WD Black 2.5" MSI G41M-E43 Here's the front of the case. And the innards. I'm personally pretty happy with it, looks nice and didn't hurt myself building it :P edit: idk if this is the right section, move it to builds if it's more suitable. The only new part in this build is the case lol.
