Two years ago I made a decision to get a Prebuilt. I didn't want to have the headache to build myself a pc or invest the time to search for PC parts, so I went for the easy way and bought an HP Pavilion TG01-0039ns. At first the computer was running great, it ran almost all games and I could edit with Photoshop and Premier. But after some heavy use over the months the pc started to go way slower. So I opened it up and check what it could be. And I found out that with Ryzen cpu's single channel memory could restrict the performance of CPU. And I started saving for some RAM, but mean while the performance was going from bad to worst. And after some months i changed the RAM, and i started to go a bit Better for a few months, and finally HP did a Bios Update that killed my pc. Games started to go very slowly, Premier started to crash A LOT and Photoshop too (I study and work from this PC so it is essential that my PC works). So I finally called tech support. And then said to reinstall windows (Making me delete all my files), and formating my PC twice. And they said that we will do one last test and if doesn't work we will send it to the repair center. So after one week I call to do the last test and they say that they cannot do anything because I modified the PC by putting new RAM. So now I am broke, with a PC that works only with half the performance that it used to work.

Does anyone here know how I can get WiFi print to work on my Epson L6190 to work on the crappy and proprietary ( un-upgradable e-waste) that jiofiber calls a router and forces you to use (don’t quote me on that there may be a way to get my own router there without using jios crap I don’t know about yet) edit: mods I just realised I posted this in the wrong subforum, pls move it to the right one

Worst piece of shit that I have ever seen. Whoever designed this case, needs to be executed. A no name 10$ case is build better and with better materials than this garbage. Antec says the case can fit an ATX mobo. While that's true, it's barely true. Since the mobo barely fits in. The cable management? Atrocious. It's basically non existing. In the left corner you'll find the cut out for the 4/8 pin power connector which is unusable. Since the mobo covers it up when installed. Sure you do some trickery with cables by forcing the cables as flat as possible by pushing the mobo on them but that's just insanely stupid. The hdd tool-less mounting mechanism is the worst tool-less design ever. While it locks the hdd in, the hdd can still move freely up and down no problem, even securing it with screws doesn't fix the issue, Another thing regarding the hdd mounting, the sata power cables you have to jam them in such a way that when you close the side panel it might break the connect from the hard drive. The case also has a 2.5 inch ssd/hard drive mount place. You have to slide it in at an angle then push it down and then lock it with screws. While this is ok, the problem occurs once again with the cables. The sata power cable barely fits in, and once wrong move and you'll break the connector on the ssd/hdd. Moving on to the 5.25 bay, the top one is useless. The metal is bend in such a way that it just doesn't fit the optical drive. It's not a 5.25 inch bay, it's more like 5.24. Just small enough so it won't fit. You can only use the second one. But once again the tool-less design is crap, because it just don't hold the drive in place. Luckily there are holes so you can screw it in. Honestly I have more to say, but I think that's enough for now. I've had Antec products before, they were crap. Each one of them had some issue. And I promised myself to never buy an Antec product ever again. But I wanted a new case since I'm planning on upgrading my rig and the gpu that I wanted wouldn't fit in my current case. And I don't have that much money plus I didn't want to spend a lot on the case. So I saw the Antec one and read some reviews on it and some YouTube videos and it looked like a great deal. Boy was I wrong. What I've learned is never to trust reviewers and videos on YouTube when it comes to cases. Unless you have in hands, so you can actually see what's what, you can't make a proper call if it's good or not. I've said I'll never buy an Antec product ever again, but a case is a case. So I said to myself, what could possibly go wrong? In my life I've bought a lot of things, some of of them turned out to be crap. But this is truly the worst piece of shit I have ever bought. And now I swear I'll never buy an Antec product ever again. Even if it's something that only Antec makes. I would rather not own whatever that product might be than dealing with an Antec product.

so i recently sold my lenovo y50-70 to buy a nintendo switch and a lesser laptop wich i stumpled uppon a Dell inspiron 15 5547 with the following specs, Core i7 4510U, 8gb of ram, 1tb hard drive and RAdeon R7 265M 2gb gpu, the laptop is in great shape with the battery @ 89% of its life i mostly only use my laptop to play some games at lan parties with my friends such as league, cs go, rocket league, world of wacraft, diablo etc etc, not very demanding titles, wich the Lenovo was clearly overkill for (but well i got it for 400$ what can i complain), so after i got the laptop i did a clean install updated everything, and found out it has the horrid and infamous Switchable graphics wich are always a pain to get working, but i did, and decided to fire some benchmarks and games to see how well the i7 4510u and the 265m will fare, to my surprize, i expected the 265m to fare similar to a GT 555m i had on a previous alienware, and the i7 similar to a mobile i3, but the Games dont work at all! they keep stuttering, takeing Eons to load, and in leagues case (wiich was one of the worst) it will stutter so bad it will drop to 1 fps from having 90 at max graphics now, temps are fine, maxing out @ 70c and the gpu is being used, after 5 minutes of being in match it starts to normalize and it gives me 60-90 fps all the time without the stutter, but it is unplayable for the first 5, and sometimes takes so much to load, as in the loading screen is not doin anything at all that kicks me out of the game TL;DR Laptop has greats specs and is performing poorly Might be the slow ass 1TB 5400RPM hdd im currently testing with a 60gb SSD to see how it fares and with a 1tb 7200rpm the laptop works great @ everything else, media consumption and multi tasking (photoshop, youtube, spotify and all the usual crap)| Cpu isnt capped @ 100% while gaming, maxes out @ 60% hdd isnt capped at all while gaming Switchable Graphics are performing as expected (when it works 10% of the time) Thermals are not a problem, fan is kicking in accordinly to load? Turbo Boost works perfectly (ThrottleStop doesnt work) Ive heard that diferent from nvidia optimus the Video signal from the gpu has to pass through the igpu so the igpu cant be disabled at all and might result in some issues (first time ive read this) The laptop was 300$, warranty wont be issued by the seller, as "not being able to game" isnt on the "working as intented" part, i can sell it for 400-500 to some designers and illustrator profesionals (people that dont game) suggestions and Help?

Hi, I recently had a very bad experience, which justifies the title of this topic. I bought an ASUS ROG GL503GS Gaming laptop, about a year ago. In that time period, I did experience quite a few shortcomings of the device. The fans would automatically ramp up their RPM, when it wasn’t even needed. I did initially put them on the overboost mode, but the fan themselves stay quiet during overboost, when the system isn’t being exerted. I later found out this was a bug in the system, but my machine had a full fledged, activated Anti-Virus system. It still surprises me how this issue could’ve happened while the activated NPAV was protecting the machine. I have used NPAV on all my previous machines, and no such thing has ever happened to those laptops. My GL503 also costed $1000 for a basic i5-8300H and a measly GTX 1050 4GB. Adding to that, it is virtually impossible to get access to the internals of the machine. I decided, one day, to clean the fan and heat sinks and give it a proper dusting, but I spent about 45 minutes trying to get to the motherboard on the damn machine. At the end of those 45 minutes, I still couldn’t get access. The keyboard, too, began malfunctioning after short time of the purchase. The Aura Core RGB software controlling my keyboard’s RGB became unresponsive, and later crashed. I am now restricted to only the Rainbow effect, which is fine, but I would’ve liked some customisation. The biggest problem, though happened around 3 weeks back. I sat down for a quick CS:GO session, and suddenly, my laptop shut itself down automatically. This happened a couple of times. I then called the retailer from whom I had purchased the laptop. He asked me to take it to a service center. So I did that. The next day, I get a call saying that the motherboard and the fan motor on my laptop experienced a shot-circuit, causing the capacitors and motherboard to fail. Luckily, my warranty was yet to expire, so I quickly asked the center to order new parts for the machine. 12 days later, I called the center again for a status update. They said that due to heavy rains ( I live in India, and it’s raining heavily here), the parts have been delayed. When I asked where were they coming from, I was told they were coming from Taiwan! It is disappointing to see a brand like ASUS, have such flaws in their working, and their products. Throughout this experience, I have been enraged and disturbed. A $1000 machine shouldn’t experience such an issue so early. I am most certain that I will not purchase another ASUS product henceforth. I owned an HP and a Dell prior to making this purchase, and never have I experienced such a flaw. Please feel free to share your thoughts.

This is something that the Fractal fanboys will roast me for it, but I need to say this. So in my quest to find the balance between good temps and low noise in my Fractal Design R6 case, I realized that I never did one test to actually determine the correct settings. So last week I decided to set the case fans at 100% all the time to see just what difference that would make on the temps for the CPU, VRM and GPU. Because before that what I did was set the fans to run all the time at the lowest rpm that they would run at and through the bios set a fan curve so they can ramp up when temps get too high. I was trying to find the balance between noise and temps. That's why I even bought this case because I wanted silence. I even bought an a completely unnecessary overpowered power supply just to make sure I have silence so the fan won't turn on at idle. Anyway the fans that come with the case are the Dyncamics X2-GP14. So I decided to set the fans at 100% because I realized I never tested what would the best temps be if the fans of the case run at 100%. So I did and what I discovered blow me away pun intended. It made basically no difference at all. I saw a 2 degree difference, that's it. So I opened the panel and decided to put my hand behind the fan to see how much air they push. I felt nothing. They are completely pointless. The fans were running at 1000rpm and they might've been turned off and it would've been the same. It would've been better if I took them off and stuck my head in the front of the case and blow that would actually lower the temps. Not even blowing is required, just a breathing. Even the act of breathing would push more air than those fans. I know very well Fractal fans are going to attack me, I don't care so far I've had too many issues with my purchase and it pissed me off. I was a fan of this company, but not anymore. The more time I spent with my R6, the more I find things about it that are crap. I've spent 170$ with tax on it and regret every single dollar.

We all knew it was downgraded for no reason other than platform parity, which is not a valid reason, this video shows just how much.

Every thing is the same other then the mobo that is like 20 cheaper and a different cooler, but the same. here is the part picker you can go look at the price.http://pcpartpicker.com/p/VnGymG

Hi all, A few months ago I build a completely new computer from scratch, and at first it seemed to work very well. However, after month or two, it started acting up. Being slow, stutter, games no longer running smooth and Google Chrome taking upwards of 10 seconds before being ready to use. After failing to find a fix to this problem, I decided to re-install Windows, but it didn't change anything. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what might cause my computer to be so terrible? Computer Specs below: Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 6700K @ 4.00GHz Skylake 14nm Technology RAM 32.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown @ 1071MHz (14-14-14-35) (DDR4) Motherboard ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. *Note This is In NO WAY a good way to build your PC, this was a rushed project, and I in no intention recommend that you reproduce any of things I do here. (Except build a nostalgia machine just cause :P* Good News Everyone! This is my first build log! (Shoulda done my main rig, but I digress) and I finally scrounged up enough parts to build my nostalgia machine. I named it Draxus, just cause I thought it sounded cool, if you have a better name, please share it! I might use it! Here are the system specs: The reason I am "Dual Booting" this setup (And I use dual booting lightly, since I have to manually press F9 during startup and choose the drive I wanna use) is because having Windows XP is great, but many programs aren't using it anymore, and Ubuntu allows this system to perform modern tasks without sacrificing speed. If anyone would like too see screenshots or other things leave a reply! Also, Game recommendations are highly valued, seeing as how that is the main purpose of this build. Images? YOU WANT IMAGES?! Okay. But I warn you, they are of potato quality.

TLDR: Sony's warranty is appalling and wont admit to design faults. A bend started to appear on my Z3 3 months after carrying out the contract. This bend was not caused by myself, i believe it to be down the the high temp the phone reaches when doing 4K video and there fore has made the devices structure malleable and cause it to bend, many people have called me out on this and from my POV the phones front and back glass components would have shattered if deliberately bent, also i never have my phone in my back pockets, period. So took the phone to the contract holders shop (Will keep them nameless however they are no small company!), and they booked it in for repair however was sent back as the devices manufacture warranty would not cover such damage to the device, after receiving my phone back from the company i saw that a large portion of the screen had a back light bleed issue caused by the repair center when was cent away. (Another thing to add here was that all loan phones i had during this had previous customer details on as well as my phone when i got it back also had my details still on my device when i was promised by the company that my data would be removed to comply with the data protection act) Took my phone back to the company and they sent the phone back to repairs and was returned with the comment "We were unable to repair your device as the issue has occurred because of the bend which is not covered under manufacture warranty." I decided to take this further as there is post after post on other sites with users having the same issue with their devices from cracks to bends appearing on the device with no user input. Was shrugged off from Sony blaming the end user. If this was Apple they would have replaced the device as they would admit to their own error and have decency to keep the customer happy. Sony has left a bad taste in my mouth, the contract providers mouth and will never purchase another product from Sony again! This is a real shame as this was my first Android device and although i have tried to not let Android be the issue i now would only go to Apple for future products as I have had to go through their customer service and have no complaints. Although I have tried my hardest to keep Apple vs Android out of this rant i have re read and will admit a little bit of preference to Apple however please don't take this as a hate for Sony becuase they are not Apple, Sony's customer service is quite frankly crap and wont admit to their own product flaws! Thanks for Reading!

First of all I am shocked to see how much everything has changed since I built my last workstation in 2004. Back then CPU shopping seemed so much easier than it is now. And since then I have been mainly a Notebook user and Console touting gamer. I develop applications in VB.NET and enjoy doing it (but my day job keeps me impoverished) I have finally saved up $770 to build a new workstation and I want to buy Fallout 4 for it. Because OMG Fallout right? Now what scares me is CPU and GPU shopping. Back in my days I feel it was a lot simpler to shop on a budget but now I have too many options to narrow down anything worth while so I am reaching out. Ive done some homweork and found the following: New AMD 7300 series $99 with 6 cores, sounds great to me But then I find a Used i5 base workstation on Craigslist for $190 but I have no idea what generation these people are offering. Will I really see a huge difference to justify buying a $300 processor with my needs (or $190 used). I need to program, game, and transcode video/ audio I dont care about shaving seconds for $1,000s USD. All I care about is will it handle my needs and run my IDE responsiveness while I listen to music ETC. IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE A DECISION. Cpu boss is a slight help but I need to know the make, model, and generation. And above all else where is a repuatible source for CPU shopping? Im even considering taking a Xeon processor and building on that. I am open to all ideas. But please help a man pick a Processor Mobo and GPU. Ill do the rest.

So, I have overclocked my very slow and weak and crap GeForce 210 to 765 core clock and 650 memory clock, but it won't go over 405 core and 324 memory clock, also I detected a decrease in performance after I accidentally left Euro Truck Simulator 2 on pause screen for a couple of hours, that's when the problem started I think,I used to get 10 FPS on ETS 2 now it's 5,any idea wtf is going on?

Hi ! A friend of mine plays alot of games but he has a issue where he crashes in EVERY game like Arche age, rainbow six siege ect. so because i play online with him and its kinda annoying i want to try to fix it so he has a modern gpu a HD 7950 (gigabyte) a fx 6300 and good mobo with psu oh yeah a good water cooler on cpu and not high temps on the gpu. also i updated all his gpu drivers to the latest and the latest most stable but neither worked (15.9.1) and (15.7.1) so my thought about it is that rainbow six siege is buggy as hell so ill rest it but arche age doesn't crash on every body every 5 minutes so my thought about it is since he is using a second hand pc that his OS is a little bit Crap he is using windows 8 64 bit so not 8.1 (i am planning a upgrade for him to win 10) so other than a fresh OS what can cause this problem?

I am going 2 mount 2 120mm fans on the top of a Bitfenix Prodigy M so should I use the S12A or F12 fans? Because there is going to be the graphics card right against the top of the case.
