Summary Nvidia App is basically a merge of GeForce Experience and a modernised Nvidia Control Panel all in one package. Quotes My thoughts Finally, after all these years, and maybe pressure from Nvidia users due to the fact that AMD has modernised their app, Nvidia decided to pull the trigger and modernised their Nvidia Control Panel. This new app is now 2-in-1 package, rather than having 2 different apps. Since this is in beta, there are some missing features. The entire Display section found in the Control Panel is missing. Plus, this basically upgrades the GeForce Experience app. Sources https://www.nvidia.com/en-my/geforce/news/nvidia-app-beta-download/ https://www.nvidia.com/en-my/software/nvidia-app/

I can't find my intel control panel. All drivers are updated.

I have a laptop with a 780M GPU installed, was working fine until recently. Laptop keeps defaulting to the intel HD graphics card (Screenshot7) even though it's enabled in device manager. (Screenshot5) The laptop detects the GPU in device manager however it will not use it, I'm currently trying to get the NVIDIA control panel to open however I'm stuck with the message "Application is not compatible with the installed NVIDIA Driver" (Screenshot2) However it's the latest driver available for the Kepler series GPU's. I'm assured by NVIDIA support team that this card should be working with the NVIDIA control panel as it's less than 7 years old.(Screenshot6) We tried doing a clean install on the drivers and even reverting back to an older more stable driver version however neither works. We also tried creating a new admin account on windows and seeing if we could do anything there and still same results. I'm really stumped on this as I have no idea what I can do now. I've sent them across an MSinfo32 file and ran their diagonostics software sending them a screenshot also. (Screenshot) The only thing that I can recall that's happened recently is a windows update and possibly an intel graphics card update through the intel driver support assistant. Does anyone know another way I can force windows to use the GPU without using the NVIDIA control panel? Many thanks, Kasero EDIT: I've checked the latest windows graphics update settings, and even there it doesn't display the 780M even though it's "working properly" in device manager.

Recently I bought a Nvidia p106-100 mining Gpu to run games on it. There were two Videos on LTT showing how to do it, and I wanted a fun little project while saving some money. And it actually worked! I installed the modified driver (416.34) and were able to play some games. However, not for long. Because for whatever reason, Windows likes to install the Nvidia Control Panel after some time and installs the driver 432.00. The P106 still shows up in the device manager, but playing on the card instead of the integrated Intel Graphics doesn't work anymore, as I'm not using the modified, old driver. The Card does not show up as a high performance GPU anymore. I tried almost everything. I disabled automatic driver updates, I disabled Windows updates, I tried to play around in the registry and I even deleted the Windows Store using Powershell, because it seemed to reinstall the Nvidia control Panel every time. But nothing fixed the issue and it's driving me crazy! Everything works fine until Windows decides that it has to install a newer driver version for me. Does somebody know how to stop Windows from doing that? I want to use the card for my second gaming pc which I want to use when friends come over. So deactivating Windows-Updates for example doesn't bother me that much. i5-4440 Nvidia p106-100 Windows 10 Pro

currently when I try to troubleshoot anything the old way within the control panel I get this error, I'm aware that there is a troubleshooting menu within the settings app but it is not advanced enough for what I want to do. If anyone has any information on how to fix this or potentially switch which troubleshooter windows 11 uses please feel free to respond

Greetings. Ever since installing Windows 11 on my new pc three months ago, I've been plauged by Airpod audio issues. They connect fine 95% of the time, but output no sound except randomly every five minutes or so for a milisecond, then nothing, and even then it's super muddy. They work perfectly fine with my phone, and I can use wired earbuds with no issue. I've tried: - Making sure my volume is up on the taskbar, in volume mixer, and in the apps I've tried (Spotify, Chrome, etc.) - Made sure they're charged - Set them as my default device - Disabled all other audio sources in Control Panel - Updated the bluetooth drivers - Updated Windows - Factory reset my Airpods - Reset my Network Settigns - Restarted Bluetooth Support Settings - Ran Bluetooth Device Troubleshooter (which found nothing wrong) - Removed my Airpods from my pc's known devices The most curious thing is in Control Panel, there's a EQ-like volume bar, and it shows sound playing. I am truly stumped, please help.

A few days ago I bought an office pc with the idea of hosting my own website from my house. I watched a lot of tutorials and I replaced windows and installed centOS. I opened the ports and installed cpanel but I couldn't enter from my principal pc because I was hosting it from my own network. After that, I installed ubuntu to install easy hosting control panel (EHCP) and it worked well in localhost, but I am a begginer and there is a few and poor guides for setup a wordpress website and add a domain, so I'm stucked in that. I also have bought a live domain in https://www.piensasolutions.com/, and I want to redirect it to my website. What should I install for setup a web hosting server on my own network? Thanks.

Hi everyone, When mulitple users utilize Outlook 2016 on the same computer and sign in with their respective accounts, how does that affect the profiles that appear under Mail in Control panel? For instance, Suzy and John use the same computer because they have different shifts. Suzy signs into Outlook in the morning with her account. John signs in with his account in the afternoon. Can each user have multiple profiles? How are they associated with their respective accounts? What does Mail under Control panel look like if Suzy has 2 profiles under her account, and John has 3 profiles under his account. Let's say Suzy has a Self Employed Business profile and her 9-5 job profile. Let's say John has 9-5 job profile, Self Employed Profile, and is weird and has a profile with his kid's emails inboxes. See what I'm saying? Thanks.

I changed out the HDMI cable going to my main monitor today because my dog chewed through the old one. So after doing this I boot up and play some Overwatch, and it feels super choppy and terrible. I'm getting 100+ FPS, but something is really wrong. Tried a couple other games, same thing. Checked Nvidia Control Panel and everything seems fine, so next I try a reboot. That doesn't initially fix the issue, but then I look in Nvidia Control Panel again... and my display is set to 30HZ! I KNEW IT! I am 100% sure that it said 60Hz before that reboot. Changed the setting back to 60 and now everything's fine again. So yeah, PSA: Apparently swapping out an HDMI cable can swap you to 30Hz, and Nvidia Control Panel will lie about it.

It used to be that when you entered the NVIDIA Control Panel, by right-clicking your desktop... ...You'd be able to navigate to 3D Settings > Manage 3D settings and both, under Global Settings and Program Settings, you could select Integrated graphics or High-performance NVIDIA processor from a drop-down menu as follows: It was even possible to turn on a Context menu to right-click any program and do the same thing: But now both those options have disappeared from the NVIDIA Control Panel I thought it may be just me, but all 4 of my (Nvidia) systems with Intel's integrated HD Graphics processors* have this issue, and talking to a friend who ran into a problem that requires this option to fix it, he had the same issue. There are other reports of users with the same issue online. Has there been any official word on the removal of these options? Am I merely in the minority? How to get back these options? System specs: *Edited to correctly name the integrated processors, where I previously wrote 'APUs' incorrectly.

So ive built a new setup, and have 2 x 1080's in SLI. However because mine are 3 slot cards they are quite close together and the top one runs a lot hotter than the bottom. So, I disabled SLI, switched the monitor output over to the bottom GPU, and re-enabled SLI, which set the bottom card to be the 'master' card. What I dont understand is, why doesnt nvidia set the bottom card to be the master by default? Surely you would want the master card, which is going to inevitably work harder, to have the best access to cool air?

Hey Guys! I'm in a situation. So I just plugged in a third monitor for widescreen gaming but apparently my pc doesn't have Nvida Control Panel installed!? I don't know what to do. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my drivers (I have a GTX 950 btw) and rebooting my computer. Still Nothing.

Hey all! My monitor is the LG 27UK600-W, IPS, HDR 10, 10BIT (8bit + A-FRC) So in Nvidia control Panel, at the bottom settings, until yesterday i had it set to Use default color settings. Then i changed it to Use Nvidia colors settings, from 8 bpc i set it to 10Bpc. To be honest, i didn't see much of a difference. Then there is that option, Output color format that is set by default to RGB, as you see in the picture there are 2 more option. 1:should i change this setting? 2:are all those setting make a difference, or not and i should set it back to, Use default color settings? Thanks!

So I think I messed up my 3 month old pc. And I don't even know how I did it. Specs first: 9700k (was overclocked to 5.0 all cores) 64gb ddr4 Trident Z RGB (was 32gb until 8 days ago Strix 1080ti non overclocked besides stock oc. So, I game sometimes, but not that often, I still want a beast pc for gaming when I do, so that's why I built this in January. At that point I had 32gb ram, and 5.0ghz oc. 8 days ago I added 32gb of the exact same ram (same timings and everything). I game on oculus rift mostly, and noticed it wasn't working now 7 days ago, on my day off. It all seemed to work, but it was giving me crazy hdmi problems. I do have an HDMI extension, which might have been the problem. But, it had worked perfectly for 4 months, so first thing I did, was a fully clean nvidia driver reinstall (trough geforce experience because I'm lazy) That's when everything went to hell. -PC froze on driver install (beginning of the bar, installing driver) -I rebooted. No video output. Great. -Rebooted a few more times, still no output. Connected to CPU video out, still nothing. At this point I got pretty stressed out. -Extra ram was only in there for 1 day at this point, so I took it out and went back to how it was before. Nope, still nothing. -Cleared cmos (so at this point OC is also gone). Now I got video output on the CPU. That's something. Meanwhile during all this, the GPU post light was on every time on the motherboard (it has never done that before). Troubleshooting to fix the driver, while connected to CPU output started here: -Reinstalled the driver. Same thing, frozen pc. -Went into safe mode and reinstalled, same thing, frozen pc. -Found something called "Display Driver Uninstaller" -Uninstalled driver in safe mode. Rebooted to safe mode. Reinstalled driver, same thing, frozen pc. -Uninstalled driver in safe mode. Rebooted to safe mode. Used device manager to install stock driver. Worked! Then used device manager to update driver automatically. (no nvidia installer was used in this, only windows), same thing, frozen pc. Most of these steps where repeated a few times in different combinations but always with the same result, frozen pc. -Used system restore to go back to earliest available state. Cool. GPU output now works again, BUT, driver seems to be gone. Geforce experience is back also, but trying to open it does absolutely nothing, besides open a "nvidia container" process, it doesn't open any windows or prompts. No nvidia control panel to be found anywhere ether. -In any way I install the newest driver, everything freezes, GPU post light comes on, and GPU output stops working. I have GPU output working now only because I went back with system recovery. -Also did windows memory diagnostics because why not, everything is fine there. I'd like to get back to the latest driver, and get back geforce experience. I am now on 25.21.14.2531 (april 9 2019) so that's fine, but I'd like to figure out what the hell is wrong, why I can't ever update again, and why geforce experience can no longer be used. I have no clue what happened. I hope someone can tell me.

Hi everyone, It has happened today, I was playing video-games and suddendly, while I was connecting my JBL Charge 3 to my laptop, bluetooth disappeared. Windows Parameters says I've got no bluetooth on this PC. Device Manager doesn't show my bluetooth card but started showing an 'Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)'. Services.msc still shows Blutooth Service Support. I've already browse accross the net but nothing helped me. What I've done : - rebooting my computer ; - uninstalling the mysterious unknown USB device ; - scanning for hardware changes ; - disabled the unknown device and enabled it back ; - rebooting again my laptop... I don't know what else I can do. It has happened to me once and it came back enabled and working until now. What can I do now ? PC configuration in my bio.

discord Mic/Audio Problem - Discord + Audio Devices Panel
M A J O R posted a topic in Troubleshooting
I booted up my PC and jumped on Discord to find I couldn't hear anyone and my mic wasn't working (no green "you are speaking" icon either). I can't remember there being any updates, and I certainly didn't make any changes to settings. I can hear audio outside of Discord but not inside. I can't test my mic as the audio devices pannel becomes unresponsive when I click on anything inside the recording tab. It doesn't display "not responding", but you can't click on anything or switch to another tab in the sound panel. So far I've: - Checked physical connections of my headset and mic - Checked/reconfigured Discord audio settings - Shut down PC - Restarted PC - Checked if Discord was muted in the mixer Any ideas? -

Hey guys, i've seen something weird happening to my pc lately, i have a 144hz gsync compatible display and a card that supports this feature with the correct cable for it to work properly, when i set it up for the first time it got immediately running just fine, but sometimes it just dissapears from the control panel and the gaming experience seems way off, even when i'm above the 144hz margin, i thought that my second monitor that runs on 60hz was the problem, so i disconected it from the pc but the problem remained. I installed the latest drivers a few days ago, it appeared again on the control panel, but from one day to another it dissapeared again, i'm going crazy about this, i use my pc for competitive fps games and the difference its bugging me, it feels awful, i wish i knew the words to explain it but my english is not at that level, it feels like playing on 60hz again. PC: ryzen 5 2600 16gb 3200mhz ram 1650 super LG UltraGear 24GL600F

Hi, I've being trying to workout why my HDMI output to my second display which is a TV ( Sony KDL55W800C) colours are washed out. The strange thing is even when I've configured these setting in Nvidia control panel to RGB, 12bpc and color range to full I see no changes. An sometimes when I shutdown / restart my PC is fixes the problem, but not all the time. Any help regarding this would be great. Cheers.

When I want to access NVidia control panel, it takse few seconds to open. It's known problem that NVidia panel is slow, but maybe there is a way to preload it and minimize to tray, so next time I want to access panel, it will be immediate?

I have a laptop with a 1060 Max-q gpu. I connect 2 monitors to it. One 60hz one through hdmi and one 144hz one through minidisplayport-displayport. Both my laptop panel and 144hz monitor dont show up in nvidia control panel, only my 60hz one does. I also notice that in display adapter properties in windows display settings only my 60 hz screen is using the 1060 and my 144hz and laptop panel are using integrated intel graphics. I am not very computer savvy so I dont really know how to fix this. When i disconnect the 60 hz screen and opened nvidia control panel I then dont even have display settings as it cant detect any other screens. It may also be useful to know that my 144hz monitor has freesync. Thanks for taking time out of your day to help!
