This written review is in complement to my video review on the product: While steep, I decided to buy the LTT MCM home bundle in order to better managed failed competitor products that I used to secure the cable mess beneath my desk: The product ships in discrete, unmarked packaging: It is a little overwhelming with how much stuff is included with it. To the point that I would prefer to have at the very least a quick-start guide or QR code to scan for a simplistic walkthrough or some fundamentals to help prime those that don't watch the WAN Show to better understand how to make the most use of the product. The magnets are really strong. Deceptive given their small stature. I found the 3M VHB plates were sticky enough to not warrant screws for my purposes... but time will tell how they hold up. The magnets are surprisingly convenient... allowing you to detach and reattach as necessary, allowing for you to un-contort yourself when installing for better posture, reducing strain, cramps, etc. Something I hadn't even considered or realized before going through this experience first-hand. I love the amount of subtly when it comes to their logo positioning on the product. I only managed to address the biggest pain points in my cable mess so far, using a mere 2 cable tie holders, 2 small arches, and a handful of LTT cable ties. But it is enough to bring me peace for the time being. Will be looking to revamp everything once I get a little more time. Here is what my desk mess looked like after using 2 cable tie holders, 2 small arches, and a handful of LTT cable ties (so imagine how much better it would look if I used even half of what all I received!): I'm a fan, and if you can justify the cost of the product, I recommend it so far. I have yet to fully vet the product and intend on writing a follow-up after some time with the product to see how it copes against the test of time.

So I've been following the development of the LTTstore cable management archs for quite some time now, and I'm absolutely pumped for the release next week. I would like to know if anyone has any idea on pricing for these cable management products. Would love to pick some up at launch if they aren't too expensive. Also, (a less important question) will the products be launching on WAN Show day or a day next week prior to Friday? I know that @LinusTech said on WAN Show that they'd be launching next week, but he didn't specify when.

Hi, this feels like a stupid product to want but does a cable management clip exist that uses a clamp system instead of double sided tape? I've attached 2 images of adhesive cable management clips. Surely there must be some sort of C-clamp version out there? I just want something to gather a big bunch of cables, at a position near the edge of my desk, and keep them neatly there. But I want to be able to reposition them without dealing with double sided tape, nor having to drill/re-drill into my desk top? Even a C clamp that has a loop on top to take a cable tie would be good. Anyone seen something similar? Cheers

We all know Molex is overrated. Chances are, we all have had a time where we had no choice but to use Molex when we didn’t want to. It makes cable management so much harder. Post your best and worst setups with Molex in them and show how bad or good it turned out. Reply to this topic and upload a picture of your setup!

Taking a shot at Asus, Inno3D took a different route coming out with non-proprietary and simpler implementation of alternative power delivery routing, without requiring matched mobo and card. Hello there, I want to try to find a way to store my cable from my new dt 700 pro x Beyerdynamic headphones and the cable is significantly longer than I need. I want to store it more compactly and not take up more room on my desk or hanging down to the ground. I've had a bit of a search around and haven't found any specific options to fix this. Some suggestions would be to find a spring mechanism that is big enough and strong enough to put the cable with, I'd be happy to give this ago and attach it to the underside of my desk as there is plenty of space. But I don't know of any spring mechanisms that I could use to start with. Any suggestions for other options people have used or spring mechanisms to try and turn into a cord recoiling system? Cheers Jono

I have a Corsair iCUE 7000X case and installed 11 fans--7 Noctua NF-P14s redux and 4 Noctua NF-P12 redux. I got the Phanteks Halos Lux Digital for each, it look nice imo but later found out it is a nightmare cable managing it when daisy-chained. Are there any tips/recommendations to make this easier? Any improvements I can try?

Budget (including currency): 70€ Country: Spain Other details: I have currently 0 cable management experience or gear in my desk. I can't find any of the commonly used items in my local shops (sleeves, tunnels, organizers, etc.) so I will have to look for it all on my own. What items have worked the best for you in keeping the desk organized? What approaches do you like the most?

Budget (including currency): <500 USD (for the pc itself) Country: Mexico Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: An always-on, probably Linux, server pc hosting all sorts of stuff. Should be able to connect to eGPU for remote heavy lifting. Other details I've got a standing desk, a 2020 Acer Spin, and a Razer Core Chroma. I will be buying a GPU for it as it becomes available. My goal here is to have a no-compromise setup. A good laptop, portable GPU power, and a server PC back at home to take advantage of the Core when it's not with me. I also want the setup to look as clean as posible. I attached a few images of how everything looks right now. Please excuse the bad cable management. Surge protector should be glued/screwed under the desk, and egpu cable should be longer and go trough the arm, so it looks cleaner and it is long enough for the laptop to charge while being used in the bed. I plan to add more monitors down the road, as money becomes available. End game is four arms and three monitors (plus the laptop one). Now, here comes the brainstorming... My first thought was to have a mini PC like the intel NUC, and hold it to a VESA mount behind the laptop arm. This way, when I unplug the laptop I just plug the cable into the NUC, which would be right there, and it's all done. This could also take advantage of the custom cooling I made for the laptop (see pictures), as it would be in close proximity to it. Nevertheless, this would add unnecessary bulk to the laptop arm, making it harder to maneuver, and probably cost some flexibility when expanding. The "server" pc is meant to be fixed, so it could just as well be screwed below the desk. An ideal scenario would be to have some sort of switch that "connects" the core to the laptop whenever its plugged in, but "connects" to the server when it is not. I am not aware of any device that does that. I don't want to need to dig below the desk, or accidentally forget to plug it back every time I leave. So, condensing everything into questions... What is a good and discrete solution for the server pc device? What would be the approach for managing the server/laptop switches?

Hi there. So I work for a software development company, yes we do have those in South Africa :D. Now, in this company I do a lot off on site calls. Everything ranging from 2km away from the office, to having to fly over 1000km to go see and troubleshoot clients problems. Now I've been struggling to get the perfect setup for my IT grab bag. The main pain I have currently is the amount of cables I have to carry around, and trying to manage said cables. I've used some Velcro cable ties, for now, but everything still looks too cluttered for my liking. Yes I could just take a few cables out that "you would rarely use" but I know that I won't be very happy when the day comes that I'll need that specific cable and not have it. So I'm putting out to you guys, what are your daily IT grab bags? Any tips and tricks you could suggest, even add some pictures if you'd like. I reckon it'll be very interesting to see everybody's setups. I'll list everything I have in the bag down below, and you tell me what you think, Any replies will be greatly appreciated. Laptop Bag: Everki Glide Backpack Laptop: Dell Latitude E5540 Phone: Samsung Note 20 Earphones: Samsung Galaxy Earbuds Plus Keyboard and Mouse: Microsoft 900 wireless (Samsung DeX) Dell laptop power brick and cable 2x USB type C to USB 1x USB type C to USB type C 1x USB type C to USB cable (don't really know what to call it) 1x USB to Micro B 2x USB to Micro USB 1x USB Wall Plug 1x USB type C Wall Plug 1x Multi wall adapter 1x 64GB SanDisk Cruzer (Running Linux live) 1x 32GB Sandisk Cruzer (Running Windows 10 live) 1x USB type C to HDMI, USB 3 and USB type C (Samsung DeX) 1x 3m HDMI cable (getting a shorter one) 1x 1m HDMI to mini HDMI 2x A4 Notebooks (with 2 pens) 1x pair of prescription glasses (because I'm blind as a bat :D)

So I have a new pc almost done being built but I ran into a few problems with my planned setup 1.The route of the tubing for my external rad would be in the way of some outlets on my motherboard. This kinda has caused me to rethink my entire setup. Any ideas?

There is tension downwards on the connector. This is because I velcroed every cable together and left it hanging. As you can see one of the cables has slight tension, will it cause issues down the line? Also another question, having the cables tied up and hanging, is it safe to leave it like this? It causes tension but looks much better than without any cable management whatsoever. Here is how I have the cables:

Cable management help Hello. Just looking for some help / tips with my newer build. So I purchased a b450 tomahawk max, 3600x and 2060 EVGA rtx card to replace my z97x-gaming 5, i7 4790k and 970 gtx. Fractal design r6 case So I managed to I install everything... pretty simple but the motherboard cables don’t look anywhere near as neat on my newboard compared to the older board. I managed to use cablemod angled extensions etc but I can’t get them fitting properly due to placement of headers etc now. So I’ve had to take them out Any thoughts on how to tidy? https://imgur.com/gallery/fhm843H Any help / criticisms would be fantastic. Thank you and take care!

This was the case I used for my first build. Initially I just shoved the cables in the back and left some in the front, but later experienced high thermals. I have 2 120mm Antec spark 120 RGB @2000 rpm as intake and 2 for exhaust. But my messy cable work obstructs the airflow. I have a corsair CX450W (non-modular) PSU and it has a long AF cable of molex connectors (im not sure about the name of connector, sorry). I cant hide it in the back and have to bundle it in the front. Moreover, there isn't any space for the cpu cable to be routed from the back! I had to route it over the mobo (over other components). Pls guide me if there are some more experienced ppl out there

Hello all, I am planning on building a pc over the summer and I have two builds. Both have intel and Nvidia, but one is an ATX build, https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mitch7Anderson/saved/qGhdCJ, and the other is a mATX build, https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dM2nCy, my question is, which is better? I know that the mATX is cheaper, but that is about all I know, thanks in advance for the help.

Note: Not sure if correct location. Note: my grammar is not the best i am sorry. Hey so i have a loud as all hell system but i love the case and fans for its performance : cougar panzer max with 12 x 120mm Maglev Premium fans. So here are my questions hopefully u can help me 1. i want to know if its safe to run some of the cabling either heat shrinked or heat shrink and sleeving behind my motherboard and having sound dampening material behind with it. 2. can i run sound material over unused case PCIE inserts [ the holed place holders u have before u put in a GPU ] 3. painting my gtx 1080 back plate using peel coat / plasti dip as a temp mod or would i be best using a High temp spray paint used for BBQ and hotplates etc. 4. Attaching my SSD drives to my PSU basement cover made of plastic / acrylic. Second case Mod 1. is there a way i can tint clear plastic side windows or am i best to remove it and attach pre tinted plastic ? 2. is it safe to use acrylic as a MB tray as i wish to segmentize my core x9 with a single sheet and attach my board to it. Advice on this would be epic. M.2 SSD mod i have a board capable of having up to 3 m.2 / nvme chips and tbh im cheap and like to use gear until its dead can i use copper / aluminium heatsinks of ebay / alibarba / amazon with some thermal pads to help cool these, as they do not have that fancy samsung heat spreader these are exposed chips [ EVO m.2 SSD ]

So iv just completed my build there's wires all over the motherboard despite trying my best to manage it all and I'm honestly stuck ? Im worried this is gunna drive my temps up dramatically and what's worse is my AIO kraken x61 tubes is a little tooo close to one of my fans I'm seriously worried my fan is going to split the tubes!! I had to put my graphics card right below the tubes as it just does not have enough clearance on the second psi slot! I unfortunately went for a evga power supply and while I'm sure it's great the power cables that connect to everything are really stubborn and just will not bend much making cable management difficult! im contemplating removing the foam of the back panel behind the motherboard as it's really thick and I can't put the side of it back on properly... any help or advice from someone who has owned a h440 and has gone through what I'm talking about would be greatly appreciated!!
