Im fairly certain my issue is hardware related. My rightclick is not working in bios, windows or any other OS ive tried. the e7440 has 2 mouse buttons, near the keyboard and on the touchpad. And none of the rightclicks work. Do i need to replace the whole touchpad assembly, or can i replace both buttons? Or is there no way of actually knowing if the touchpad pcb is broken, or if its just both button pcbs.

Hi,i bought this mouse at the end of December. At first i was really excited to get a good mouse, but then i started to find some flaws. The sensor can sometimes spin out(not just me) This video demostrates the problem right here! Also the scroll wheel started to make a whine noise like a month after, it's really annoying, Then Mouse5 key started to wear out as well, makes a clicking noise, not the one it should make.-_- Mouse4 still works fine. I use my peripherals like they should be in a human way, when i rage out i don't even hit the mice and it keeps wearing out! Anyway, I can't get a refund on this mouse as well, because it was bought in Germany and i don't live there. I do not know other peoples experiences with this mouse, except a friend of mine who is Global Elite in CS:GO and says that the sensor can sometimes act weirdly, not buying a Steelseries mouse for a while now,i probably had a bad unit, but still the sensor issue is on every single Rival out there. Have you used this mouse before, experiences? I added sound recordings of the noises, mouse4 works like it should. MWheel.m4a Mouse4.m4a Mouse5.m4a

Hey! My trusty Microsoft Sidewinder has sadly passed away, and I am now looking for a decent gaming mouse. What I really enjoyed about the sidewinder was the three hardware DPI buttons which i found infinitely useful while gaming. Do you guys know of any similar mice to the Sidewinder that isn't thrash? Thanks in advance!

As title states, the shipper I bought this from forgot to pack the thumb buttons and I use the thumb buttons on a daily basis so I can't use the mouse for now.

Hey all! So, I have recently purchased the Corsair Scimitar RGB, after taking the CUE crash course i finally was able to do the things i wanted to do with the lighting. Now, I want the DPI buttons on top of the mouse to go forwards and backwards in windows/web browsers like my old Razer Naga Hex did. Is there a way to do this? if so? how? is there a macro setting i have to make? or am i just boned and i have to deal with it? Thanks!

I set up just the basic 1 2 and 3 buttons to correspond to 1 2 and 3 on the hotbar for FFXIV. But when I press them, it does nothing. The firmware and icue software are all updated. So I opened up sublime text (notepad) and tried, and still nothing seems to be going through. Any ideas? Pic is for showing my setup. https://i.imgur.com/jiNMs49.jpg

Each button will be labeled Button, Button 2, Button 3, etc. I keep getting errors, can anyone help? Thank you.

The ui is total garbage on its own. Absolutely the most ugly OS I've ever seen, but the few solutions I have found try to break the OS alongside it. Why is it so hard to change this to this? I've tried ultraUX themepatcher, but every single fucking theme is the same ugly style for these buttons. The few themes that look even a little OK have to be payed for and don't look good.

Hey, so i recently updated my oneplus 6 to oxygenos9 official, and since then i can not find the setting where i set the volume buttons to change the media volume and not the phone volume. This wouldnt be a problem if i wouldnt have to go to settings to change it from the homescreen. Does someone know where the setting is gone to? I dont want to download a third party app for something i can change in the settings... Thanks.

Hi, so I'm looking to replace my Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum, it's too heavy (even with no weights), feels girthy, and is anit-ergonomic especially with all the indents. But, I've become acustomed to the 5 extra buttons on it and the Logitech G software is nice and user-friendly, so for a new mouse, I would like the following things: • At least 3 programmable buttons • DPI switch • RGB lighting zones • Preferably comes in white • Preferably with a thumbrest • Under £70 I've already found the Roccat Kone AIMO which fits literally everything in the criteria I'm looking for, but I don't have any experience with Roccat, so if anyone has a Kone AIMO, please let me know!

Hi, I am the G600 Fanboy i never found a mice like this, for me is the best mice ever made. Some reasons why: - Is enough accurate. - Have 20 buttons. - Have a 3rd button that can remap the 12 on the side. - Is RGB. - There is "White" version of it. - Is "cheap" if you compare it to razer or other. For some reasons few years ago is not available on my country (Spain) anymore or is rly difficult to buy unless you pay 100€( when I bought mine it was 55-60€) So as i cant live without it I decided to buy second hand G600's enough for all my life. Do you think that I am crazy? Also opinions about G600, What do you think? Is worth mice or not?

Hi So I've been working with an old hp z400 workstation and I somehow managed to put it in to a normal atx case. The only problems that presist is the IO plate's kinda messed up which I think I can fix. My question to you is: The z400 motherboard has a old power on/off switch connector insted of the 2 pins a modern motherboard has. The problem is that the case has the modern variant and the motherboard the old variant which has 9x2 pins needed. How could I fix this? Should I try and remove the power button with the connector from the old chassi and mount it in the newer chassi? Any ideas? Many thanks!

Alright, so i was about to play a record on my record player(a Sony PS‑LX300USB) but apparently i pressed the start button with a little bit too much enthusiasm. and basically the button got stuck in and it won't start playing the record anymore(stuck in a loop). I't a loose plastic button that uses a spring. i managed to pull it out, but just putting it back into its regular position doesn't fix it. I've already lifted the turn table itself to see if there was an obvious way to access the area of the button and i couldn't find one. I've attached a picture of the button Any suggestions for fixing it? am i gonna need to take it somewhere?

Hey, I bought a gaming mouse from amazon about 6 months ago (crappy $10 one), but it works like a charm, until recently, that is... My mouse has it's own double-click button, and up until a few days ago, it was working fine. Now, on the other hand, it opens the run application and opens a new browser window with Baidu.com, from my research this is pretty much the Google of china. I've used ADW cleaner, Malware Bytes, even some other cleaners recommended from around the internet. None worked. So i just made a fresh install, getting rid of my personal files (just leaving the OS), and yet, IT STILL OPENS BAIDU! I've searched all the forums telling me where adware should be located for manual deletion, and I've come up empty handed. Any thoughts on how to properly resolve my delema? Thanks, -Austin

I like off screen buttons, and I wonder what other people do, so I made a poll. pliz say why you like one of them. The reason why I like off screen buttons is that I do not like that the on screen buttons use screen space, I also don't like when the buttons disappear. I want them to be available all the time. and because fever and fever phones have off screen buttons, my choice of phones get less and less.... I have HTC One m7, and after what I can se, one of the only, if not the only choce I have for new phone is if Motorola Droid Turbo 2 also have off screen buttons.

Is it just me, or is the variation of fingertip grip friendly mice very limited? As I see it, this is the main problems: 1) Many of them is marketed as on-the-go mice Lower than 1000 hz. Designed to be small, but useable with other grip types. 2) Never more than two thumb buttons Would love to see 4+ buttons for the thumb, in one dense area. Thumb buttons placed too far ahead of the center of gravity of the mouse. 3) Rarely high end Do to the smaller size they are often combined with being the cheep option. Maybe also because of the smaller consumer segment, they are often made as cheap mice. My current mouse is a Logitech G700. I love it, but it is a little heavy, the battery life is horrible, and it is not getting any younger. I have been looking around for a replacement, but even tho the G700 is not perfect and definitely not new, no one offers a more compelling mouse today (in my humble opinion). My personal priorities are: 4 thumb buttons. Easy to distinguish without looking. Placed together, not too far to the front of the mouse. Wireless with wired mode. Rechargeable. Decent battery life. Semi lightweight. Batteries will add some weight, there is no way around that and at the same time keep decent battery life. It should NOT look like a spaceship or a racecar. I like Steelsseries designs, simple and stylish. 1000 hz. Here is why. Gets notisable when using G-Sync/Freesync. Full article. RGB lighting would be a plus even tho it hurt battery life. But not a must. I was looking at the Razer Orochi and the Steelseries Sensei Wireless, but they both lack buttons, and the Orochi is laughable 125 hz when wireless (blame bluetooth). Also have a Logitech G602 at work, good mouse, lots of well placed buttons, but only 500 hz and I would prefer not to have the big thumb rest. What do you guys think? Am I overreacting, or do you feel the same way?

I saw a few reviews for the Roccat Nyth (which has customizable button layouts) and noticed a common criticism that the buttons were a bit tedious to swap if you would want to do that a lot. Sooo, I had the idea of something like a tray that is in the shape of the layout of the removable buttons that you could just hold up to the side of the mouse when you eject and they stay in place so when you want to use that layout again you just press the whole tray against the mouse, pushing all the buttons in. (of course with multiple trays for each layout) What do you guys think? Is this something people with the mouse would like? If you think I should make something like that, leave some suggestions and tips. I have a little bit of experience in CAD software and maybe I can cook something up! (I've never really made something like this before)
