I increased the bitrate on my headphones in the control panel, but that gave them a crazy echo. I tried everything I could from drivers, windows troubleshooting, restarting the PC, unplugging headphones and plugging back in. Nothing seems to work and they won't stop echoing. They were working perfect a couple minutes ago. Someone please help.

Hey! so I recently started to stream more often and I noticed a couple things, After nearing the 1 hour and 49 to 55ish mark of streams so far, My bitrate seems to drop really badly. I have this information based off 2 recent streams that I have done. Now It could be that its a coincidence that the duration of the stream pooping itself being so similar on both cases has no impact on why my stream frame drops but I should note both these stream were started around 8PMish and ended due to poor bitrate nearing late nights from 11:30pm to 1:20AM. I have a internet plan of 400MBPS download and 20 Upload and I'm already connected VIA ethernet straight to my modem so I'm getting the most out of it. I always test before streaming to see if I'm getting 20 Upload and It always seems to work fine until it poops itself in the end. I don't know if its a internet plan thing and I'm getting capped or its a software thing or maybe something else. My streams are never Laggy on 1080p 60 no FPS issue since my PC is pretty well put for them but when my bitrate drops I get confused My Specs if needed: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TCkqFg Not sure why this is the case so If anyone has any solutions to this problem that would be greatly appreciated!! I can provide any info if needed. Here is my OBS Logs if it helps, This LOG was from my most recent stream that ended nearing the 1hr and 49 Mark at around 1:25AM asdasd Here Here the Log of me starting up the stream again trying to see if my Bitrate would fix itself after ending the first time but still the same results, so i ended up stopping again after 5 minutes HERE IS STATS FROM TWITCH INSPECTOR THAT SHOWS TIME AND BITRATE SLOWDOWN IF NEEDED!!

Theoretically are they the same quality?

Hi, im running a plex server (you know it because i told you ) on it i have a bunch of high bitrate video files (from B-Ray for example), but i notices that no one of the users actually uses 36k bitrate form outside of my network or even locally. So i want to free up some space and convert them down to 10k or so. Do you have any good tool for the job?

Hi everyone, I've created a video in Full HD 60FPS ~50Mbps. Then I uploaded to YT. I can see that the quality of the video has been dropped down a lot. When I downloaded my video via IDM with the highest quality, I saw that my video bitrate had been dropped down to about 5Mbps average. You can check the photos below for your reference. And if so, is there anyway to upload full quality video to YouTube? Thanks! This is before This is after

I'm using the built in music player of Opera GX, which has Spotify. Sadly, Spotify on the web tops at 256kbps, but in the desktop client it can do 320kbps. If I control everything in Opera (web), but I make it so it reproduces in the desktop client, will the bitrate quality be the one from the web app or the desktop client?

I'll start off by humbling myself and say: I thought I understood color profiles and bitrates and how they worked with UHD formats such as HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG, but I'm not so sure anymore. So I recently got a 4k UHD tv (Hisense U9DG) which does support all 4 of the HD formats, as well as 4k 4:4:4. I also got a 4k UHD Blu ray player, the UBP-X800M2. I figured it was good enough to do what I wanted it to, but recently I noticed that it's not outputting at 4:4:4 color profile when I'm using Dolby Vision. It doesn't support HDR10+, but I do know I can get it to output 4k 4:4:4 when I'm using HDR10. So in tracking this down with Sony support they said that it doesn't support 4:4:4 at 4k 24Hz when Dolby Vision is on, only RGB color profile. Just out of curiosity, I also asked Panasonic if the DP-UB820-K supported 4k 24Hz 4:4:4 for Dolby Vision and they also said it didn't. They were also not clear about if HDR10+ supports 4:4:4 at 4k. I guess I'm just confused, am I just completely misunderstanding how Dolby Vision works, or is current 4k UHD Blu-Ray player technology just limited? My understanding of 4:4:4 was that it basically meant there was no chroma subsampling. Does Dolby Vision just only support RGB color space and handles chroma subsampling another way? Is Chroma subsampling an inevitability of Dolby Vision? I know Im talking about negligible differences, especially since I'm using a last gen tv at this point, but I just want to improve my understanding.

In my system, i have a ryzen 5 2600 with a gtx 1660. I've been hearing that the ryzen 5 2600 is really good for streaming, but i dont know if i should choose x264 encoding or NVENC (explain why please) also, is it possible to stream with 5mbps upload on twitch, if so, what are the best setting in obs for maintaining a good quality stream

Prefacing this with that I'm an audiophile noob. Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question. So, to boost my newly acquired HD 58X a bit and to get rid of some audio issues (crackling etc) with my Surface dock, I purchased an AMP/DAC to go with it. A Fiio K5 Pro. One of their selling points is up to 32bit, 786Khz audio. The volume knob LED colour even changes depending on the current sampling rate. Neat! I know my ears aren't good enough to notice any difference between the 16-bit, 44Khz and the ridiculous 32bit, 786Khz. (Can you even stream music at this rate?) So my question is: Are there any pro's or contra's to setting the Windows Sound Default Format to: The default setting, at which I think most music/audio is delivered (16bit, 44Khz ?) The highest my DAC supports (32bit, 786Khz) Next to using it as convoluted way to change the LED colour. I've heard something about "resampling", but not sure if this has an impact for better or worse?

Hey folks I am in the process of converting my media library to HEVC in the idea of saving some space ( correct me if wrong pls ) Say I have a 2 Mbps bitrate h264 encoded video file. I am to convert it to a HEVC format with Wondershare Video Converter. Should I stick with 2 Mbps HEVC to retain clarity or Should I choose 1 Mbps because I heard HEVC occupies half the space compared to h264. In other words Consider h264 bitrate to be a variable { x } What bitrate should h265 be to retain same detail as the original h264 video ??

Hi, i am wondering what bitrate should i use when exporting videos. I use Camtasia Studio 9 for editing, Bandincam for recording video and Audacity for audio. Here are my settings in programs : -Bandicam : -Video : -Size : 1280x720 (720p) -Fps : 30 -Quality : ( I am using % rather than bitrate ) 95% (1h videos of FPS games end up using 15Gb so you can calculate bitrate if you want) -Format : MP4 -Audio : -Bitrate : 160kbps -Channels : Stereo -Frequency : 48000Hz -Audacity : -Bitrate : 128kbps -Channels : Stereo -Frequency : 48000Hz -Format : MP3 What bitrate should i use in Camtasia to export, i have 1Mbps Upload speed so video larger that 3-4Gb would take a lot to upload to youtube I dont want to have bad quality videos but i dont want huge file sizes. Videos are usualy 25-1h 15m long and i think that perfect balance of bitrate for me would be 4000-6000. What do you think is best and thank you all .

So I've been trying to get more into streaming on twitch, but my streams just really never look that good. I run at a bitrate of 3000, at 720p 60FPS, using Nvidia NVENC (I don't have enough CPU power to use x264). Here's a VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/spork829/v/105322483 If you skip to 5:20, you'll see that the quality looks just fine when there's not much movement. However, skipping through to other spots where I'm in game, you'll see that it's quite pixelated and sometimes barely watchable (around an hour in is probably the worst). Also, maybe it's just me being paranoid, but does this really look like 60FPS? It looks more like 30 or somewhere in between to me, but I was outputting at 60. Either way, should I change up the resolution/FPS/bitrate to get it to look better? I don't want to change the bitrate that much because a lot of people have buffering issues when I go above 3000Kbps, plus if I remember correctly twitch doesn't even allow over 3500 for non-partnered channels. What can I do to make it look better? Thanks.

I currently have 2 systems at home, 1 as my main gaming/multimedia pc and another coming from my brother in which i would like to turn into a streaming pc. Recently ive just configured the 2nd pc to mirror the screen of my main pc on Streamlabs OBS but whenever i go live on the 2nd system, somehow i kept on getting dropped frames. What got me wondering is how come when i try to run speedtests on both PCs the main one outputs to 150mpbs and the 2nd pc only outputs upto 100mbps so i was thinking could this be the cause of the frames getting dropped? Take note that i still dont have a capture card at the moment so the screen capture is done via NDI software. Also im gonna play around with the bitrate thinking this could also be the cause of the frames getting dropped. Would you know the cause/fix on why 2nd pc is only getting 100mbps? Specs: Main PC: 7700k GTX 1080 32gb ram 3200hz 2nd PC: 4790k GTX 650 12gb ram 1333hz

Hello guys its me again some time ago I posted a topic for streaming and that really helped me in regards of streaming setting. Now I have a 10Mb internet connection I have checked my upload speed multiple times and I am getting 6.5 Mbps I am on a wired connection too butwhen ever I go live on obs or streamlabs obs the upload speed drops to 1 mbps I also tried disabling the Avest and windows defender closed all the possible apps that uses internet but still no improvement. What should I do? Thank You, Humam

Just got this crazy idea. I recently ordered a new ultraportable HP Envy 13,3". In it is an MX150 (nothing special, pretty much the equivalent to a GT 1030). It'll do fine if I ever wanna throw down a game of CS:go on the run, but really nothing special. It has 8gb 2133 MHz. What's interesting about this PC is that it's got a new Intel Core i5 8265U on it. This is a quad-core CPU, with hyperthreading (8 threads) with that boosts up to 3.9ghz (With some tweaking, it might even reach 4ghz). I was thinking that thermals might become a problem. The reason I'm considering this as an option is because of my current rig. It's got an overclocked Evga 1070 that performs perfectly for 1080p games. Where it falls a bit short is the CPU. In this rig, I'm running an overclocked i7-3770 at 4.2ghz. This CPU works really great with the GTX 1070 in games, but I've noticed some issues with encoding at higher bit rates when streaming. So my question is this: Has anyone here ever tested this as a viable option?

Its a standard build, its not the best but not the worst. All new components. ( find the build at the bottom) When I built the PC, i started streaming for fun, able to stream no problem no dropped frames, no impact just played my games. (Apex, Cod, League) And to add, i play on an Ultrawide 1440p. The last few weeks I started to stream again, & i get dropped frames now constantly, and huge drops in bitrate. Things ive tried Changed all my stream settings, bitrate, quality, encoder settings, even changed my display to a 1080 at 30fps, still dropped frames. Any ideas why I could stream perfectly at 1440p in the past and now i cant do, well, anything? & yes ive reset my internet. hah.

I'm one for high quality music, and I happened to notice some of my Google Play Music tracks are 192kbps and others 320kbps, which is obviously annoying. I'm not sure if it's just me being picky, but I can feel more clarity and range in 320 as opposed to 192, is there any major audio differences between them, in your experiences?
-
Hello, Whenever I call someone, I can't hear them that clearly which made me think of upgrading my iphone 5s. I learned that calls use special types of codecs and I would like to know what kinds of codecs my phones use. I've just recently gotten into audio and bitrate and I want to learn just how low and bad the bitrate or sample rate really is. -Iphone 4s -Iphone 5s -Iphone 6+ -Samsung Galaxy S8+

I've heard that 1080p Blu ray has bitrates around 15 Mbps (or much higher) while streamed 4K has the same bitrate (15 Mbps), doesn't this mean that streamed 4K will look worse than a 1080p Blu ray? What's the point of additional pixels (that should provide additional details) if they aren't even used?

I have a collection of hundreds of songs that are on either 128KBPS or 192KBPS Is there an easy way to increase that bitrate to 320KBPS or do I have to download all of them again? Thanks in advance!

So I just got into streaming recently. But I was wondering, should I use hardware or software encoding? I have an RX 470, i7 4790 and 8 gigs of ddr3 ram @ 1600 mhz. I know software is better, but the question is, is my CPU beefy enough to handle the software encoding?

What's the best bitrate for 1080p? I can 't figure out I am mostly recording localy but once in a while streaming I have a ryzen 1600 16 gb of 2666 ddr4 ram and a gtx 1060 6gb What is the best bitrate for 1080p 60? Also, I do speedarts once in a while, should I up my bitrate for these speeded clips? I posted this on obs forums to but I didn t get an answer so I posted here
