So when playing any other game i get around 20ms ping/latency but as soon as i load into a battlefield game (2042 or V) it jumps to 200-400ms making it unplayable. I have played with my friend and his latency is fine. I have tried Port forwarding, disabling firewall, using Wi-Fi instead of ethernet, updating drivers but nothing seems to work and I am stuck as I'm not sure if the issue is related to my PC, game or Wi-Fi. Has anyone else experienced this? thanks.

Royal Flush is back! We are currently recruiting members of all consoles in the NA region. We are a casual community focused on having fun and relaxing. Currently our discord server is sitting at just 5 members, having just formed up again a couple of days ago, and we are extending this invitation out to YOU! A brief history: Royal Flush (RYLF) was started by s0uthpaw_420 back on Hardline PS3 on March of 2015. Although hardline was never as popular as we had hoped, we had made some pretty amazing strides being just teenagers. Countless scrims against other hardline platoons (only ever losing one I think), to even opening up our own RYLF server and creating a giant PS3 community back in the day. Over time, we had all fallen out of BFH or had gotten jobs and could no longer play, so we had disassembled and moved onto other things. As of March 2021, the 2nd iteration of Royal Flush was started by zeK. Who we're looking for: Currently, we are looking for any and everyone. We strongly prefer the 18+ demographic for a few reasons (mainly maturity), but exceptions can be made on a person to person basis. Individuals with discord bot or coding experience in general are strongly recommended to apply. Players of all types are encouraged to apply. (Casuals/Sweaters/Comp) Our goals: Currently our goals are: (1) Get as many OG RYLF members back as possible. (2) Get some fresh new faces to compliment the old ones . (3) Start servers on BF4/Hardline to help our community grow. (other servers down the road). (4) Create and implement some sort of logo as a brand identifier. (5) There are many other plans, but aren't ready to be announced/need a bigger community to implement. If RYLF sounds like the squad for you, or have questions/concerns don't hesitate to join our discord! https://discord.gg/KNq5yyf7qG

Hello, I purchased the new Battlefield 2042 and saw that my CPU was always at 100% usage and my GPU(GTX 1071ti) only around 35% usage. So I decided it was time to change the CPU and some other parts. I put my new parts together today and when I start Battlefield 2042, I get to the menu my Pc restarts right away. It used to work with my old parts. I tried BF5 and I'm not having the issue, I can get to the menu. I will try to play BF5 tomorrow to see if something happens. When I start Battlefield I get to the menu and my PC reboots. When I had my old CPU, motherboard, RAM and SSD I was able to play no problem. You can see my old parts on my LTT profile. My new parts are the following: - Ryzen 7 5800x - G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit (F4-3200C16D-16GVKB) - ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming AMD AM4 (3rd Gen Ryzen) ATX gaming motherboard - WD Black SN750SE 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 2280 Read:3600MB/s,Write: 2830MB/s SSD (WDS100T1B0E) I check my temps of my CPU and GPU and everything is fine. I did a stress test with AIDA on my CPU and at 100% it gets to max 65c. Also did a stress test on my GPU and it doesn't get higher than before (Around 63c). I after stress test the CPU and GPU at the same time and everything is fine no crash and good temps. Nothing is overclocked for now, didn't change anything in the BIOS either. My GPU driver is also up to date. I told my self it's probably not that the game is not installed properly because it reboots the whole computer and not just the actual game. I don't think it's my PSU (EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W 80 Plus Gold) that's not strong enough, unless I'm mistaken. I don't think my new motherboard and CPU pull that much more power than my old ones. It really sucks, really wanted to test this new setup with Battlefield 2042. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. Hopefully someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance guys!

Hey folks, I just downloaded battlefield v for first time after I saw benchmarks on YouTube from several videos that my gpu can run it on 60fps steadily Med-high settings So I tried it and oh wow the fps is going from 20-40 avg and well below that on multiplayer mayhem even on the absolute lowest gfx. The task manager only shows 30-50% gpu usage, cpu is almost the same too. I tried gpu overclocking it was not a big difference. And I'm maintaining cpu and gpu temp avg 60° The question is how can i run the game properly like those videos since my hardware is identical to them? Gpu GTX 1650 4GB Cpu i5 9300H 16 GB DDR4

Hi all, I currently play BF 5 Online primarily on my desktop i5 10400 + 1660 super. However I plan on travelling and gaming on a laptop. Currently torn between Asus F15 11400h a 6 core 12 thread and Asus Dash F15 with a 4 core 8 thread. The Dash F15 looks like it's better built, asthetically pleasing compared to the cheep plasticy looking F15. I am also eyeing a MSI GF65 10750h + 2060 also better built than the plasticy F15. (I don't mind the cheap looking plastic, my main concern is the durability of the hardware) + (I plan on playing the new BF 2042) + (I don't mind the lower FPS of the 2060, I just need a laptop that won't have a part that fails) + (I'll only need my laptop to last 2-3 years) Of the three models the 6 core Asus F15 seems like it would be the best performer, however it would cost more than the other two, but would it last nearly as long? Could the WiFi fail? Could the motherboard fail? As I am new to the laptop world I am not well versed in the durability/ reliablity of brands and their various models, help appreciated! Budget (including currency): £1100 Country: Northern Ireland Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Battlefield 2042, PUBG First I'll post a link to my potential build: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/nczk3y . I can get the graphics card for around £300 pre owned on ebay so that will cut cost alot. I followed alot of tips but upgraded some of my own ideas. I'd be wanting to get high fps (100+), play on high settings and sometimes on 4k. I'd maybe Stream someday but it's not a priority right now. The main thing I am curious about is, is the motherboard good enough? Also would the Intel alternate of my build be better and, or cheaper?. I will be starting to buy in January when there will hopefully be sales. Also I will be buying from a few different places as it will be cheaper. Any help would be seriously appreciated. Thank you in advance.

After a few minutes i sorts itself out and runs fine. The FPS counter shows consistent 144 fps sp it's not really that i think. Does anyone have an idea ehat couses this? So, I have the steam version of Manjaro Linux, and the game fails to run. Tried Proton Experimental, Proton GE (latest) and the following commands and combinations of them as recommended on proton DB DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH="/home/steamdeck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/3955941937" gamemoderun %command%' (the proper path on my machine was assured) MANGOHUD=1 DXVK_HUD=compiler RADV_PERFTEST=gpl gamemoderun %command% I tried installing the EA app (which I managed to install, following this guide https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/tx6srv/guide_installing_origin_on_the_steam_deck_the/ ) with it being listed on the Steam library. However the game does not run at all, I click the play button and it says running for a few seconds and then it stops and the EA app is not able to see the game install.

Please help, I don't understand why my PC is underperforming so much. My cinebench score is 1311 which is pretty close to the other systems of the same specs in the results which is 1344. I also checked gpucheck. com and it shows that my build should have no problem running games like battlefield 1 at 1080p. However my PC can barely run it, the game is barely playable, i get around 25-30fps at 1080p, even on low settings the game is not playable. I have tried different version of drivers with no improvement at all. Even GTA V which is a pretty old game by now struggle to reach 60 fps at high settings and sometimes dipped to 27-30. Even league of legends, a game that should run on onboard graphics can barely stay constant 60fps on my pc. In most of the games i've tried my cpu usage is constantly 100% except for league of legends. I've been told that it could be because i'm running a single channel RAM is that true? Could that really cause my PC to run games this badly? And some say that my CPU is the problem, so should i upgrade to a ryzen 5 2600 and dual channel RAM? please help! Specs: Ryzen 3 2200g Asus ROG Rx 570 4GB HyperX Fury 8GB single channel Asrock a320m-hdv r4.0 Coolermaster Masterwatt 550W 256GB western digital SSD (boot drive) 1TB HDD western digital Edit: Yes, my monitor is plugged to the GPU not the onboard hdmi port.

Battlefield 1! Battlefield Probably one of the most popular games worldwide is the subject of this project. However, on a slightly different KIND. For use comes the Xtreme Gaming XC700W Case. The case is predominantly in black and has accents in orange and white. The colors of the Extreme Gaming logo will be reflected in the whole concept. This will be achieved by fluorescent orange plexiglass. The interior is as discreet as possible without impairing its functions and with Plexiglass cladding. The motto in the interior is always Battlefield 1 and Extreme Gaming! All cables are made in orange, silver and black. All fans are color-adjusted. A UV and white LED lighting should illuminate the interior. The graphics card is to be installed by means of a Risercard upright. Now the different kind! From the outside, the Case will receive the Battlefield 1 lettering from 3mm Plexiglas as well as the Vehicle and weapon symbols from the game's options menu. These are made from 3mm Fluorescent orange plexiglas and multilayer in different colors on the case Attached to achieve an optical depth. Also here will be extreme gaming design Elements that will connect the symbols. Hardware: CPU: Intel Core I7 6700K Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-SOC FORCE GPU: GeForce® GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming Premium Pack 8G Ram: 16Gb DDR4 HyperX Fury 2666Mhz SSD: 256gb Intel 600P M2 Case:Xtreme Gaming XC700W CPU cooler:Xtreme Gaming XTC700 PSU: Xtreme Gaming XP1200M Peripherien Keyboard:Gigabyte Force K85 Mouse:Xtreme Gaming XM300 First of all, a small preview of some of the components. PS: Sorry to all that I have so long nothing of me hear. After the DCMM I started two new projects (Cheops and Alkesh), I first built a nice premium milling table and a sled for my circular saw, But as it is just so it comes firstly differently and secondly as one thinks. The planning for this project started already at the Gamescom, drew itself however still until Christmas. The last part I got now only a week ago. Yes for the CES, I was just before just synonymous to build something, even got 5 days of time: rofl: As soon as I get a share for this project I will create, just like for everyone else, worklogs, sorry. Unfortunately, I will not be able to continue working on Cheops and Alkesh as soon as I have (unfortunately) already projects for the Cebit and Computex to stand but we will see. I try to get the best out of time and hope you like it anyway: rolleyes: Greetings Ronny

Hello, everyone! I'm 19 years old, I've just finished school and I'm going to university. I'm going to study software development, but I'm interested in hardware too, maybe more. So I've made an entry-level Gaming PC build, and I will be glad if you guys give me your opinion and advice to make it better. The goal is: budget gaming build (High - Very High settings), at a decent frame rate. All prices are for new hardware. (7/5/2017) I present you my project "700$ Gaming". (At the end you will find Frame Rate tests on some of the popular titles.) Processor - i3-7100 Graphics Card - GTX 1050 Ti SSC Ram - Corsair vengeance 8gb ddr4 2400mhz black Motherboard - ASUS Prime H270 PLUS Power Supply - EVGA 500 W1 Solid State Drive - Kingston Digital HyperX FURY 240GB Hard Drive - WD Blue 1TB Case - be quiet! PURE BASE 600 WINDOW Black/Orange 2 Fans - White 2 Pack LED Case Fan 120mm 700$ (7/5/2017) CPU 115$ - At the price of 115$, I've chosen the Intel i3-7100 for our CPU. This CPU was released in January this year - 2017. The i3-7100 offers 3.9MHz, and it's not overclockable. Number of cores: 2, and 4 threads. The blue team processor is from the new Kaby Lake family. With a 3MB Level 3 Cache, 512KB Level 2 cache, and 128KB Level 1 cache. One of the most important benefits of this processor is the DDR4 support, we will use DDR4-2400 ram, one of the fastest RAM memories on the market. The maximum operating temperature is 100 degrees. Due to its new architecture, there is a support of DX12 so as our GTX 1050Ti that we will use. This combination offers great gaming experience! First I've chosen the i3-6100 CPU, but I found that for few dollars more (2$ on Amazon) we can grab this bad boy, with a higher ram support (2400mhz, and 1866mhz for the i3-6100) and 0.200mhz more power. Compared with the AMD FX6300, the i3-7100 offers from 5 to 12 fps more, in most games. https://www.amazon.com/Intel-i3-7100-Desktop-Processor-BX80677I37100/dp/B01NCESRJX Motherboard 100$ - ASUS motherboard with a support for i7 processors (1151 LGA), which is great for future upgreades. 4 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR4 2400/2133 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory Dual Channel Memory Architecture. 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x16 mode) 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (max at x4 mode) 4 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 6 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s) 8 x USB 3.0 port(s) (4 at back panel, blue, 4 at mid-board) 6 x USB 2.0 port(s) (2 at back panel, , Type-A, 4 at mid-board) OS : Windows® 10 64-bit Windows® 8.1 64-bit Windows® 7 32-bit Windows® 7 64-bit Great budget motherboard for gamers. An ATX motherboard.https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-PRIME-H270-PLUS-LGA1151-Motherboard/dp/B01N2RNQKE GPU 140$ - The most important part of a gaming build - the Graphics Card (GPU). I've chosen a Nvidia product - the GeForce GTX 1050 TI SSC GAMING from EVGA. This model of the 1050 Ti offers 2 fans for extra cooling, and I think it's worth the extra 10$ from the 1 fan model, for better cooling. It's a GDDR5, 128bit GPU with a base clock of 1366MHz (which can be overclocked to 1480MHz). The maximum resolution is 7680x4320@60Hz, which means it supports 4k. With a rated board TDP of 75W, it relies entirely on the PCI Slot for power, meaning no extra connectors are required. In my opinion, this is the best budget solution, for good gaming experience, on the marker for now. First I've chosen the RX 460 4GB, but with some research, I found that the GTX 1050 Ti offers bigger frame rates in most games, with a higher MHz power. I will post FPS test results on some games at the end! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MF7EQJZ RAM 60$ - Thanks to our CPU and motherboard, we can use one of the fastest RAM memory on the market - DDR4 2400MHz. Ought to you can get more than 8GB, it's not necessary and rarely games need more than 8GB of RAM. But in future, you can add another 8GB stick. https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-2400MHz-Memory-Black/dp/B01ARHBBPS/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1494148857&sr=8-6&keywords=DDR4+2400 PSU 36$ - And last but not least - power supply, the heart of every computer. The EVGA company offers stable and reliable products. For our needs 500W of power is enough to give life to everything. https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-WHITE-Warranty-Supply-100-W1-0500-KR/dp/B00H33SFJU/ref=sr_1_10?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1493921699&sr=1-10&keywords=PSU&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_two_browse-bin%3A6906984011 HDD 50$ - For the hard drive, I've chosen a standard WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM. Enough space for most gamers nowadays. https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Cache-Desktop-Drive-WD10EZEX/dp/B0088PUEPK/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1493921843&sr=1-1&keywords=hard+drive&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_four_browse-bin%3A8067150011 SSD 80$ - Solid State Drives (SSD) are a lot faster than the old HDDs. Here is a standard 240GB disk, from Kingston, for a bit of extra speed in gaming. Why use SSD: A hard drive is essentially a metal platter with a magnetic coating that stores your data, whether weather reports from the last century, a high-definition copy of the Star Wars trilogy, or your digital music collection. A read/write head on an arm accesses the data while the platters are spinning. An SSD does functionally everything a hard drive does, but data is instead stored on interconnected flash memory chips that retain the data even when there's no power present. The Solid State Drives are a lot faster, but cost extra. https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Digital-HyperX-SHFS37A-240G/dp/B00KW3MT7W/ref=sr_1_8?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1494149006&sr=1-8&keywords=SSD&refinements=p_n_feature_three_browse-bin%3A14027458011 Case 100$ - For the case, I've chosen the Be Quiet Pure Base 600 Windows case. For 100$ PC case, this product offers classy vision with side glass panel. The orange color adds a great look to our build. The best side of this case is the cable management opportunities. It offers very easy and compactable mounting for our parts. There is one back panel fan for extra cooling, and we will add 2 fans more. It's an ATX motherboard with, Water cooling ready for radiators up to 360mm on the front, top, and rear if you wish to upgrade. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=2AM-0037-00027 Fans 13$ - For extra cooling, we will use 2 standard 12mm led fans. They add cooling to your system and a little bit of style with the led lights. https://www.amazon.com/Computer-Reinforced-Hydraulic-Illuminating-Performance/dp/B06XXGNHQJ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1493932192&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=pc+fan+120mm&psc=1 Here are some tests of popular games, using our build : Grand Theft Auto V (build-in benchamark) - 90FPS average CS:GO (High graphics 1080p) - 180FPS average The Witcher 3 (Ultra graphics 1080p) - 30FPS stable (40 fps High graphics) Fifa 17 (Ultra graphics 1080p) - 120FPS stable Battlefield 1 (Ultra graphics 1080p) - 50FPS stable DOOM 2016 (Ultra graphics 1080p) - 80FPS stable League of Legends (Ultra graphics 1080p) - 150FPS stable

So I want to get the M1911 in BF3 (i know, old game, but whatever), and a lot of people say that you can get it by linking other bf games, including battlefieldfreetoplay, to your origin account. I have no idea how to do that tho. Any ideas, or any other way to get the m1911.

I'm loving battlefield 1 to death, but im starting to get frustrated with general poor performance no matter what settings I seem to pick. Currently running on everything low @ 1080-1920. Win 7 16gb ram I5 4690k overclocked to 4.2 Evga gtx 970 I was playing at medium settings and the game was running at ~ 90-150. I have a 144hz monitor, but i dont really care about utilizing it for this game (bought it for csgo). so at this point im doing 60hz. vsync off (fuck vsync). ive tried fullscreen and borderless. nothing is making it bettee. it just lags and slows to a crawl all of a sudden now. drivers are up to date as well. Asked this a few days back but still waiting on some comments. Can anyone help I have an FX-8350 8 core AMD CPU, 16 gb 1600mhz ram, gtx 960 4gb card. Currently having a few issues with fps. pretty much all games but focusing on battlefield 1. Im a solid 60+ fps 1080p on high - ultra but every now and then i get a drop in fps to 15ish then back up to 60+ again. I've ran everything through software etc and everything looks to be fine, temps, memory load etc. however the only thing i can see is the ram is pretty much all being used needing my file page. this surprised me so i increased the file page to 3gb pretty much and the problem is still here. i uninstalled graphics drives and re installed but still there. looking in the task manager nothing is running etc so really confused at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any ideas ?

Here is my problem: DX11 Mode [SLI Enabled] - ~80 FPS DX12 Mode [SLI Disabled] - still ~80 FPS It just doesn't make any sense! How could I still be getting around the same performance with almost the same FPS if I've got two GPUs working for me. I've got a 4770K OC to 4 GHz and GTX 980s in SLI and OC to 1440 Mhz. Things I've done to try and resolve the issue: 1. Uninstall the game and reinstall it once again. 2. Uninstall GPU drivers using DDU and reinstall the latest one. 3. Completely reinstall Windows. 4. Downloaded Nvidia Inspector and set it to Single Display Mode and Preferred Maximum Power. Although I noticed that the game doesn't have any DX12 bits. Maybe that's why the second card is not being utilized on DX12 mode. Still getting the same problem. So my question is, is the game still not that optimized? Or could my problem be needing to upgrade my system?
