Good Day Everyone, I'm a first year student currently learning arrays using java. I created a program in which the user enters the id number and the test score, then it should compute its average and display the id number, test scores and average. The problem in my program which I can't display all the scores and average but it can display the inputted id number. Hello, I am having issues figuring out why this program is experiencing a run-time error but is producing a correct console output. I've been stuck on it for almost an hour. I'd appreciate the help. so i have a byte array called data that gets values dynamically. i want to copy a value in a specific position from the array data to the other array named bytes.i have tried the code below and it gives me the error : An exception of type 'System.ArgumentException' occurred in mscorlib.dll but was not handled in user code. Additional information: Source array was not long enough. I am working on a project that is based of the the Huge PHP login Framework on Github. I am Working on adding in the other database tables for the users and I want to make it so I can see the data in the table on the admin page. The Admin index page has this implemented for the current table but I have created a page that is for the rest of less accessed information that an admin does not need to look at on a regular basis. I copy and pasted the getPublicProfilesOfAllUsers() from the UserModel.php and added it right below along with the changes to the code that I saw as necessary. Then I mapped the function and values on the admin controller page. I also created a basic html page that was based of the admin page that showed normal user information and I removed the code that I felt was not necessary. I know I have data in my Mysql Database in the table so I really don't know why its not being passed through to the html page. I have tried setting default values on the model page and still I get no information passed through to the webpage I don't know that I did wrong and it would be a big help if I could get some pointers. Hello! How would you edit this code: while (sc.hasNextInt()) { int x = sc.nextInt(); } for me to be able to access and print out first and last integer that user entered? I know how to do this if I know how many integers user will enter, but what if i don't know how many integers user will enter?

So in my textbook, it shows array initialization as: int[] arrayName = new int[x]; but I have been doing it like this: int arrayName[] = new int[x]; is there a difference, does it matter? Also it shows copying an array reference without using []. this is exactly as it shows in my book int[] scores = {10, 9, 7, 4, 5}; int[] values = scores; //copying array reference i thought you had to use [] when referencing an array, like this: int values[] = scores[]; Can someone clarify for me? I'm a learner for java.

I've basically got to take two arrays, one with total years of experience that the user enters, and one that has the minimum salary. Basically what needs to happen in the method CalculateTotalSalaries is for the total of salaries per years of what the user entered. i.e. what would happen is that when the user enters: 1 1 5 3 6 2 the method would add together 31975 31975 33500 32725 33900 32350 and spit out the return value as: 196425 for total salary

Hello, I could really use someones help on this... I have to create a program where a user can infinity enter values (so not a static array) and then when send user is done entering arrays it adds, averages, etc... the problem i cant figure out to to re-size the array on every input. also I would need this done using basic java beginner code like basic for loops. If anyone could help me, or at least point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it.

Right so I'm back again with yet another programming question. This time I'm trying to create a program that converts an input string from the user into morse code. The only thing I can really think of so far is to create two arrays to store both the users string and the morse code symbols. Apart from that I have no idea really. I struggle with iterations. I know how they work when I see them but i find it almost impossible too implement my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And yes I know the gets function is a bad habit but i'm just trying to understand how to implment my own interations for now. I am trying to figure out how to write this function so I can pass a variable to it from a foreach loop and return two variables that I can echo. hey guys, i was assigned with a java program that consists in a menu counter for a restaurant. in that counter, i have so separate the different dishes, an create an average and then display it. the program as to read a .txt file and import the data, in that file the layout its something like this <beef> : <nº of orders>. the only problem is that could be repeated dishes so how do i identify each one of a time, and join the repeated ones in the program? i know that i can import all the data into an array but how can i import it separately or separate the data after? thanks

this is for Java and im using eclipse. i need to give an array 2 marks, course work mark and exam marks, add them and produce the results in an array as the module marks. i know how to make an array and give it values, but i dont know how to produce the results in an array.
