What is the best way to reset an internal drive as an external. I swapped my HDD out for an SSD on this computer and I am just wondering the best way to reset the HDD to get the full potential back as one drive and not a couple of different volumes.

Hey, so I have a pc and a pc tablet and I want to use the pc tablet as a drawing tablet connected to the computer (because it has a bigger screen) which would be running Adobe Animate. Is this possible? Both pc and the tablet are running Windows 10 pro latest build. I know it works with "drawing tablets" but I want to utilize the one I already have if possible. Sup guys, I thought i'd put it out there because i know a lot of people want an answer to 'is it worth getting an SSD?' because at the moment you're using a hard drive and you don't want to have to reinstall the OS and all you games blah blah blah, but I would say that's the only downside in getting an SSD. I was so sceptical about getting one but I just went ahead and bought it, my pc was being held back so much i didn't even realise how much my HDD was 'bottlenecking' my pc. With the prices of SSD's dropping dramatically, I bought a 500gb Samsung 850 evo and my god is it quick. If you're one of those people who just don't know if it's worth it, just install your main games on the SSD with music and all your apps such as steam ect, and but an SSD right now. I just thought I would share with you guys that I took a risk on getting one because I had no idea if it would actually be worth it but if you're one of those people debating on weather to get an SSD or not, it's by far the best upgrade I have done in a while. So I am planning on building a rig soon for gaming and some light editing, I am planning on using the Phenom M for the build. Now I'm debating between choosing a single gtx 980 then adding another one down the line, or going for dual gtx 970's straight up. Also I don't know if I should get the reference design coolers or open air. So yeah there's that. Thanks in advance for the help.

I need help in figuring out why graphic intensive games such as Far Cry 4 and Battlefield 4 (and many others) will crash on my system and I can play games like Diablo 3 for hours. My Specs are - AMD FX-8350 cooled with Cooler Master Seidon 120v 16GB HyperX Ram Asus Radeon R9 290 cooled with Corsair H90 Kingston 120gb SSD Seagate 2tb Desktop HDD Asus M5a97 R2.0 Evo motherboard 1080p Monitor As far as I can see, using afterburner in game, I can get 60fps on max settings and temps never go over 60 Degrees C on my graphics card. After about 20 minutes to half an hour it'll just come up with "(game) has stopped working". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When the individual asks me about getting a new laptop heres how it commonly goes: Ind: "I am looking to get a new laptop" Me: "Cool, what have you been looking at so far?" Ind: "I was looking at Bestbuy, its confusing, is intel 4000 graphics better than geforce 740m?" Me: "Do you play games on your laptop?" Ind: "No, its just that my current laptop has become really slow and turns off on me randomly. All i need it to do is play 1080p youtube videos really." Me: "I have a suggestion that can save you about $1000" Ind: "Really?" Me: "Yes, the seemingly random turning off is usually caused by too many programs running in the background or an issue with the cooling solution on the laptop itself. What I am about to explain next is rather complicated but trust me you will never want to go back. The part you need is called a SSD, right now the price of this part has dropped drastically compared to when I got mine (OCZ Vertex 3 240gb). This part will make your laptop stupid fast." Ind: "Okay... How do I install this part?" Ind: "yeah it looks like a mac book." Me: "Nice." Then one day they use my laptop for something and ask "how can I get my laptop this fast?". I feel like getting in a fridge with a bunch of bowling balls and have them roll the fridge down a hill. Until tards like HP start putting SSD in the laptop by default instead of selling a laptop with 2tb of 5400 rpm storage that dies every month cause the laptop is being thrown in backpacks and what not, How do you convince people that SSD's are the greatest thing to exist in a laptop? Ill try to play devil's advocate to responses.

So there's this game that has only an .exe file and no other files. For a school project, I need to make a flash game and I need one of the background image files to use for my project. I don't know how to decompile the .exe to retrieve it. Does anyone know what software I could use? I tried UniExtractor, WinRAR, and 7-Zip. Thanks

Hello, I bought a new pair of cans about a month ago, the audio technica a900x's, and theyre pretty awesome. Im really into the bass, but, i can only get the bass on my phone. My Galaxy s4 is driving good amounts of bass into these, but, my computer is not. Im using the onboard audio on my gigabyte 900fxa ud3 (rev 4), but i also have the schiit modi dac. Ive been looking around on the internet and i think i might be needing an amplifier for more sound and clarity. Is this what i truly need? And if so, what are some of your recommendations? keep in mind, i really enjoy hearing clear bass. Thank you, Sam

So i am looking around for new headphones because the warranty time on my Senheiser PX 360 BT is over and the ear cushions come apart and repairing them costs too much imo. And i found this website, that i am sure a lot of you know. http://www.innerfidelity.com/ I was looking at the website and the reviews and the graphs, man what a rush! This website is amazing!!! I am searching for a new set of cans and i try to verify the sound quality of some headphones by looking at the measurement graphs he made on the website. But i fail to distinguish important parts of a sound curve from unimportant ones. I listen to a lot of Drum&Bass, House and electric music in general, but also some heavy metal. So i guess a strong bass wouldn't be bad for my listening experience. But the overall sound curve (frequency response that is) should stay very flat around +-0 dB so the headphones are quite neutral sounding and not over stretching any sound frequencies or be too shallow in some?? So, please tell what those other graphs mean for the listening experience, but i think the overall sound curve graph in particular is most important to me(?) I was comparing those headphones: My headphones Beyerdynamic custom one pro (bass port close, i think) Bose quiet comfort 15 Sennheiser Momentum Sound curve looks impressive until 1 kHz (allthough those will be too small for my ears and I'll not consider them.) So all in all, i want to be abled to identify headphones (not just those mentioned above) which would be a good upgrade to my current one/ read the quality of headphones out of those graphs I'd also take recommendations for good headphones up to 300€ (i know i have previously asked for recommendations in another thread but well...) PS: please aplologize if this sound very rookie, i know you have to listen to headphones yourself in order to see if they are any good, but for a noob like me it would be really helpful if i could back up my opinion with some graphs. thanks for reading

So I was bored one night, and totally took apart my Xbox 360 because I am a PC gamer. Its an old Xbox 360 white console. Nothing special. So within my boredom. I decided to look into a project of turning it into a computer. But I've got no idea where to start, and/or finish. So I was wondering from you all, if this whole project is even plausible. I've sort of looked it up online and read that basically this is only possible through Linux. My final idea is to turn this thing into a fully function computer. (I know it won't be powerful but I think this will be fun) I can include any picture you all want, etc. I'm just kind of on here asking if anybody on here has every done, or completed something like this. So I just recently picked up a fx 8350 and I wasn't really sure if I was gonna be able to cool it. I have a NZXT respire t40 which is more on the budget end of coolers but it preforms really well for what it costs. So I have played some Planetside 2 (which is insanely demanding on any amd cpu) and I was getting around like 58c or something, and that was at stock speed (I would like to try and do some overclocking) which is pretty good for a $30 cooler. So I will defiantly need and upgrade on the cooling side of things, my question is which coolers should I look into. A option that has seemed very appealing to me is doing my first custom loop in my system (only cpu), but it would require some modding in my Bitfenix Shinobi if i were to use anyting larger that a 240mm rad. Also I have a budget of around $90 usd if I am not doing a custom loop.
