This might sound crazy, but despite being an Xbox player for quite a while, I cannot stand the 360 or original controller after using the Series X. Its quite annoying as I feel I've become a bit snobbish with my controllers. So I was wondering can a Series X controller be used on a 360 and are there third party controllers shaped and quality like the Series X that can be used on the original? My online search's didn't yield much so I've come to consult with the community that I refer to as the consult of the nerds. Don't worry thats not an insult, I'm on the same forum as you after all. lol

Building my first computer, but a lot of stuff I'm seeing from youtubers (and some forums) seem to contradict each other. So I'm hoping to get some guidance. I'm planning to run an i7-10700k or i9-10900k with little or no overclock, 4000-4400 MHz XMP ram, in a Pure Base 500DX case. For the AIO im mostly worried about performance, and after that how loud it is. How it looks/RGB doesn't really matter. 1: Assuming a CPU heavy load, a lot of people on Tom's Hardware say that for an i7 or i9 a liquid cooler is needed due to its 230-250 watt pre-overclocked ceiling. Is this generally considered the case? 2: Does a 280 & 360 Radiator perform about the same? Iv'e noticed that the Arctic Liquid Freezer II of both sizes cost about the same. 3: I've read to not skimp out of a good AIO. What price range should i be looking at? right now I'm leaning between $120-$150 4: How important is warranty? Id like my system to last a while, should i be aiming at a 5 year warranty or do most decent AIO last that long anyways? 5: Brands I should trust or avoid? Ive read some really bad things about Coolermaster and Thermaltake. 6: Does overclocked ram increase a processor's TDP? 7: Do mainstream AIO's all work on most of the z490 motherboards or should i choose the motherboard first? (I'm worried that Ryzen 5000 launch will empty the AIO market) Thankyou for any help! If its easier to redirect me somewhere else let me know :-)

Hi guys, so i'm planning to buy a Lian Li O11 Dynamic Case and a DeepCool Castle 360ex CPU AIO Cooler. I'm planning to either place the radiator at the top side or bottom which all is 360mm radiator compatible. However, the length of the radiator is 402mm, does it fit into any 3 places (top side or bottom) of the case. Can someone test in reality. Thank you.

Im curious about people's thoughts on Fractal Designs Kelvin S36 AIO. Is it worth it? Or is it just overpriced?

Source: http://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2017/4/20/15355234/gopro-fusion-camera-360-spherical-sample-video Specs: 5.2K video at 30 frames per second “OverCapture” — Pulls full HD imagery out of the 5.2K recording sphere Looks like GoPro is finally getting into the 360-degree camera game, probably due to the success of the Gear 360 and the Nikon Key Mission. No word on price yet. Interestingly the article notes that GoPro went out of its way to avoid using the phrase "360-degree", I wonder if this means it won't be able to output the full 5.2k image? Edit: I brightened the teaser image in Photoshop and it looks like there's a standard GoPro mount on the bottom as well as 2 buttons on the right side, one of them being 'mode'.

I've been planning to get a custom loop for my 7700k, only cpu for right now. The rad I'm looking at would be a 360mm rad, I was just wondering what kind of temps I could expect if I run my cpu on a 360mm 45mm thick rad. It may be a bit overkill, but later I plan on adding a gtx 1080ti to the loop along with another 360mm rad. If anyone has any experience with a 7700k on a 360 rad it would be much appreciated

is it possible

so...i wanted to play forza horizon on my 360, but when i tried to load my save, it said "this save is corrupted, please delete this save in setting<memory" or something similar to that... does anyone know what to do/have any experiences similar..? thanks....

Custom PC for 360 VR Rendering and editing
360video-cinema posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
We are a 360 Vr production house looking to build a custom pc for our renders and editing. Weve been using a nokia ozo which has 8 cameras each 2k in resolution. It currently takes upto 60hrs to render a video. Looking for specs for a robust PC system. We are a mac house looking to transition for speed and efficiency. Please advise on what to get. -
Hello, people who use to stick around here. I'd like to ask you for some help to solve a little issue I've been facing since some months ago. In my pc, besides Windows 10, I got Ubuntu 16.04. As some of you know, something called fglrx (or something like that, I never remember the name and I'm lazy to google it) is not supported anymore since this version. Due to that, AMD released a new brand of video drivers, the AMDGPU-PRO. The thing is that, it support several cards, but guess what? It doesn't support mine. It even supports the R7 350 and an OEM version of mine (I think), the R9 360. i've tried to install it both on Ubuntu and Linux Mint (which I heard, it's based on Ubuntu, which is based on Debian), I tried several kernels, from 4.8, to 4.11. I've gotten a better response, to say it so, with kernels 4.9 and 4.11, which showed me a warning saying that my system is running in low graphics mode, but after closing that window again, it pops up again and I won't be able to use the system until I uninstall the drivers. I'd like to solve this problem because nowadays I'm interested in the world of Linux and the open source software, but I'd like to game on it, as I do on Windows. For example, with the open source drivers, on Mint 18, I could play CS:GO totally fine, but I can't now, I got like 40 fps max on the lowest settings, thing that didn't happen before and that, on Windows, I can get up to 200 fps on the maximum settings possible. To end this topic, I'd like to say that I already researched everywhere in Google, like 5 times minimum during the last months and found nothing useful, so if any of you know how to solve this, I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks you in advance, and an apologize for my basic englando.

Hello everyone and thank you for reading this. I have a question, I bought a 240 radiators and a 360 radiators. Unfortunately the 240 doesn't have any room for fans, should I keep it or return it. Please help I'm planning on using for my rendering PC It has a Asus rampage 10 edition and i7-6900 k Asus 1080 ti Poseidon. I want over clock them, so I can render faster. Thank you

Hi First post here, although I've been reading here for a while... My question is: Should I get a 30mm thick 420mm HWlabs GTS, or a 60mm thick EK XE360mm to expand the loop in my Fractal Design R5? Background: I have an R5 with all drive bays removed, in which I used to have a 360mm EK Predator as an intake, cooling 2 1080Ti's with the 7700K CPU on air (NH-D15). It used to be a near silent aircooled rig, that started making way to much noise once I added in a second 108Ti in SLI (MSI Gaming X). One was near silent, 2 horrible. I then put both of them on water using a modded (cpu block removed) Predator expandable AIO and prefilled GPU blocks. This was my first venture into non-CLC watercooling... This worked fine in my use case (GPU's mostly using only 60% of their TDP), but really struggled when I stressed both GPU's for a longer time at 100% TDP. OC was not an option, so I started plotting an upgrade... Given the complexity to empty, fill and bleed the Predator unit while it is in the case and the fact that the low powered DDC 3.1 in the unit is not able to push both a second radiator and QDC connections, I bought a EK D5/140mm pump res combo and a 30mm thick HWlabs GTS280mm radiator which I put in the front with 2 Noctua NF-P14s's before and added QDC's to that as well as a temporary solution, so I could make up my mind how te proceed. I didn't dare go for something thicker, because I suspected it would not fit. If I measure now, a 45 or 60mm thick 280mm rad might actually just fit, but only in push... While HWlabs 30mm thick GTS rads are reported to perform similar to 45mm thick EK PE rads at the same dimension, the difference between the 360mm and the 280, combined with the shift from 2200rpm max Vardar fans to 1200rpm max Noctua's has made the current solution unable to cope with the heat of the 2 GPU's at 60% TDP. I added a water temperature probe and the water gets above 60 degrees quickly... I run on one GPU atm. I can still hook the Predator back into the loop, with it's pump disabled, in which case I get decent temperatures when I test it... To do this, the Predator sits outside the case and the cpu is still not in the loop. A predator has rather high noise 2200rpm Vardar fans, but only a 45mm EK PE radiator core in it. I want to change this to a system contained within the case, and the most obvious way to do so, would be to add either a 420mm x 30mm rad in the top, or a 360mm x 60mm one. The HWlabs GTS420 and XE360 both seem to be best in class, but I can't find any comparison between them. With the 360mm I get to keep an 140mm Noctua exhaust fan, (also giving me more negative pressure in the case unless I reverse it), with the 420mm I can't keep that fan. I mainly run the system with low CPU usage, and full load on the GPU's at 60% TDP limit right now. I want the least possible amount of noise in this use case, but headroom for scaling up to (noisier) overclocking in the future would ideally still be an option... I am leaning towards AF-F14 PPC 2000 PWM or NF-F12 PPC 2000 PWM fans for both usecases. Has anyone compared the performance of both rads to each other?

So I flew from the UK to Canada for LTX 2017, got to meet LMG peeps, explore LMG HQ mid construction and take in a snippet of Canada. Whilst at LTX I thought it would be great to immortalize the event in a way no one else can, thus I present to you LTX 2017 as a video and as a Orthomosaic (360 photo sphere) video of the event : Photo sphere (Orthomosaic) (Click to load 360 content, drag with mouse or finger) LMG Hq, Bad stitch <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fjared.reabow%2Fposts%2F10155714828062094&width=500" width="500" height="607" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true"></iframe>

Hi guys. I'm planning to water cool my i7 6700k and my GTX 1080TI. To power the loop i'm using a EK D5 XRES 100 pump, and to cool everything a Nemesis GTS 360 (read that the rad is quite flow restrictive). For rad fans Noctua NF-F12. Wanted to ask you guys as this is my firs loop: At the moment I have the 360 rad. Would this be enough or should I buy a 120 rad as well? How much the 120rad would help in this loop? Maybe 5 degrees lower temps? Also I am worried if the pump is strong enough for all this blocks and rads. Note that I am going for a silent build and would run the pump at maximum 50% and fans around 800rpm or lower depending on the temps. Will have to test pump speed and fans speed to get a good balance between noise and temps. Also I'm not really planning to overclock a lot. Maybe 10%. Thanks

I was playing Titanfall 2 last night and I pulled my Xbox 360 controller out and my PC shut down. No warning or error messages. Then when I tried to turn it back on it wouldn't boot up properly. Nothing would output to my monitor. I had to turn it off again by holding down the power button. Repeated 3 times then went to bed. Worked fine when I got home from work this afternoon. I've had this issue with booting periodically since I've had this PC. Sometimes it just wont output anything to the monitor. If I keep trying eventually it works. Restarting it often causes this problem. To the point where I won't restart my PC. I turn it off by using shut down. Then hit the button to turn it back on. Any thoughts on how I could make my PC more reliable? Thanks Windows 10 64-bit i5-6500 MSI - H170 Gaming M3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard Kingston - HyperX Fury Black 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory Crucial - BX200 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 660 2GB Video Card (second hand and is a bit noisy) Corsair - Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

I also checked the reviews on Amazon US it supports am4 and also its cheap

Hey guys, I have a little question, but first of all I wanne say sorry for my bad english im from germany so Back to my question, I bougth the Phanteks Enthoo Evolve ATX Tempred Glass and I want to watercool my GPU as well as my CPU i saw a picture of 2 360 radiators fitting in to the front on top of the case, while the pump was in the basement. Now i wanne know if I have to mod something on the case to let them fit like that, and how sick the radiator can be I want to go with a 30/45mm top radiator so it dose not cover up the motherboard. My systems specs are a EVGA GTX 1080 FTW GAMING (267mm) and a ram without heatspreader (low profil) here is the picture of the build i spoke about: http://imgur.com/qVXx6Cr I hope you can help me out

So I just recently got an SSD that I reinstalled windows on, I was using a normal ole' HDD. So everything is up and running now without any issues, expect for when I try to install a xbox one/360 controller. When it tried to install, it will continuously disable/enable my headset or mouse until the "install" is complete. Ultimately it ends with this error. (gotta go to device manager to see it). "This device cannot start (Code 10)" I've looked for the drivers online and I can't find anything, I've tried updating drivers and still, nothing. However, when I boot off the old HHD (I kept windows on it just in case) the controllers work just fine. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi! First of all: this is my first topic in this forum, so tell me if I did anything wrong and should change something. So I got this Problem: I think my temps are too high for a 360 Radiator. I'll show you my specs here: Processor: Ryzen 5 2600x @4,2 Ghz Motherboard: MSI X470 GAMING PRO RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000 DIMM CL15 Dual Kit Graphics-Card: 8GB Asus Radeon RX Vega 64 ROG Strix PSU: 750 Watt be quiet! Straight Power 11 Cooling: 3 x BeQuiet Silent Wings 3 360 AIO Radiator BeQuiet SILENT LOOP 360MM All of this Hardware is not older than one year. Now to the problem-description: I ran CPU-Z, MSI Kombustor and AIDA64 Stability test (only Stress CPU & Stress FPU checked). My CPU temp came to an average temp of 78,4°C after a 20 minuites long run. As I saw a post here on the forum with the Ryzen 5 2600x at an comparable clock with max temps of 54°C. It was not mentioned what cooler he used but for me in personal I think a 360 Radiator should perform a lot better than 78,4°C in comparison to this dudes hours-long stress test with a maximum of 54°C! Can you guys tell me if I am wrong or if I should ask BeQuiet to check the AIO? (It already was there for reparation as the pump made noises and they said it would be caused by too little water in it.) I know this guy might has an custom water cooling system that performs a lot better than my AIO but I thought that I could get close to custom watercooling with such a great brand. I hope for your help and advice. Thanks in advance! Kind Regards Sailing ps: I attached a screenshot of AIDA64 after 30 mins stresstesting and I want to apologize for my bad english it is late in the night at my place ^^

Are there any users here who are using a Freedom360 Rig using an array of GoPro cameras whose brain I could pick about your workflows? I'm curious mostly about 360 photography, but I've been doing some investigating about mixing in some streaming using HDMI capture dongles.

So my birthday is coming up next week and my mother said she will buy me anything for ZAR2000 (150usd +-) I was thinking of getting a AIO cooler maybe a 240mm or a 360mm I saw on the website of my case that I can remove a part of the case to fit a radiator of 360mm I came across a AIO cooler from fractal design, I watched some reviews and it seems to be "ok" https://www.wootware.co.za/fractal-design-fd-wcu-celsius-s36-bk-celsius-s36-360mm-liquid-cpu-cooler.html It would be overkill for my current Ryzen 7 1700x but I am going to upgrade my CPU to one of the new ZEN 2 when it comes out such as the Ryzen 7 3700 X 12 / 24-4.2 / 5.0GHz 105W I also took a look at other AIO coolers but they are pretty expensive https://www.wootware.co.za/corsair-cw-9060031-hydro-series-h150i-pro-rgb-360mm-liquid-cpu-cooler.html In conclusion : Will this cooler work in my case? Will this cooler be fine for my current and later upgraded CPU? Is there other AIO coolers I should be looking at instead? (just note I live in south africa so availability and pricing is different)
