Hello, I've been having a weird problem with audio over HDMI to TV and I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem, and if so, if they discovered a solution for it. I have an RTX 3080 Ti connected to a TV with a 4K 120hz connection, and the audio works fine for probably around 30 minutes, then it gets distorted and eventually completely cuts off. I have tried 3 different HDMI cables (rated for the full 48gbps spec of HDMI 2.1) and they all eventually showed this problem. I have found a temporary fix, but it's still annoying to get up mid-movie and mess with the audio settings to get it working again. That is to change the sample rate from 48000 hz from 44100 hz and then back to 48000 hz. I don't have any idea why this fixes it temporarily, but it seems to. Has anyone else encountered a similar issue, and if so, found a solution I could try? Thank you!

Hi Guys! I know this has probably been in alot of discussions, considering the 4070 Ti Super is releasing this week. Wanted to ask, truthfully, if it's worth upgrading from a RTX 3080 to a 4070 Ti Super. I have considered the 4080 Super, but I'm not sure at the moment. I think the price point for the 4070 Ti Super is what's capturing me. I've also heard, from other people, to wait for the 5000 series GPU, so I'm just conflicted pretty much. I currently have an AM4 motherboard with 5800x3D so I think going to a 5000 series GPU might be overkill since I plan on maxing out my AM4 board to its fullest. And really at that point...idk how well a 5000 series card would match with a Ryzen 7 5000 series CPU. Let me know what you guys think. -
I am trying to decide between buying a 3060 or a 3070 (when they are in stock) and I wanted to know if there were any differences between the encoding performance on these cards. I know that they both have a dedicated chip but is it the same one and do they perform the same?

I am still trouble shooting this build and I am still at a lost for why I cannot get a stable build with my EVGA 3060TI XC. I have replaced my Power supply, Mother Board, Ram and ssd to try and fix the issue but they are persisting. I am currently on my third EVGA 3060 TI XC through RMA, the same issues have persisted and all signs point to gpu being the issue weather that is the hardware or the drivers for it. I have everything up to date, all drivers installed and up to date and the mother board bios is up to date. I have reinstalled windows multiple times and I have ddu to no success. I have constant freezing issue doing simple things like zoom calls, web browsing, watching twitch. I was just playing rise of the tomb raider and it crashed and reset my computer. Reliability Monitor shows constant Hardware error's, LiveKernalEvent 141. At this point it has to be either a problem with my CPU, I have the worst luck in RMA and I am being sent cards that all have the same stability issues or the drivers are just terrible for the card. I have attached two images one is my reliability report and the second is the performance window showing what the gpu does during crashes. I ran OCCT on things and the PSU,CPU and Memory ran fine but when I ran the 3d test on the GPU it would run for 30 Secs and the stop. When I look at the reliability report it shows that the program stopped working and a hardware error was detected, LiveKernelEvent 141. Certainly looks like a GPU issue or a driver issue. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. If anyone else is having the same issue or have any idea how to make this build actually work better than my mid-tier prebuilt I bought 6 years ago I would really appreciated the advice. Hey there friends, I really did stepped in it this time and i might need to replace my EVGA 3080 TI FTW3 card, to summarize i was having a good time had a few drinks and i thought it would be a good idea to tweak with my gpu's overclock settings in MSI Afterburner, i slipped up and set my core voltage to 100 MV, resulting in the rgb strip flashings all weird and a funny smell coming from my pc, miraculously it still boots up and im still able to use it as i usually do still games fine if you don't mind the three fans always spinning at max speed sounding like a dyson, and the loss of rgb recognition or control as well, besides that the software still sees it as a working gpu and i can still tweak the clocks, I just cant tune down the fans or see any RGB besides the 4 red LEDs above the plugs that says I'm in deep sh!%. I'm pretty sure i cooked it by being drunk and inexperienced, the question here is do I try to contact EVGA directly and see how much it would cost to fix (if that's even an option) or is there any individual shop that would take a shot at untangling my mess? thanks for any input

So I have my GPU coming tomorrow and I have just put in my Corsair 850 watt gold PSU, and was checking to see if I have the right pin connectors, sense I am seeing a lot online that they recommend 3 separate 8 pin connectors, and my PSU has only these 8 pins pigtail splitting into 2 6+2 connectors, now I do still have a 8 pin left over from my old Corsair PSU, can I use a 2 6+2 connector and the 8 pin regular, or do I need to order different cables? And if so which? thanks in advanced, my knowledge around PSU is very limited so I apologize if this was a little hard to understand!

Lucky gamer here, so I have rare opportunity to get either the GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3090 OC or the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 XC3 ULTRA at MSRPs (EVGA queue for one and the Newegg shuffle for the other). So I was wondering is one better than the other (I assume it probably comes down to cooling, noise and temps since their both 3090s) when it comes to performance, so I want to get some opinions between the two, thanks in advance. -

So, I've been wanting a badass gaming PC for at least 12 years and having something like that has been a long standing dream of mine. Life happened multiple times over that time and unfortunately I had other priorities before building a gaming PC. But now I'm finally achieving it. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it as extreme as I'd like to but it's damn good enough for the time being and I'll improve it more over time. It's already put together and the last thing that's missing is for the graphics card to arrive in the mail for me to install it. Hi, I bought a EVGA 3080 hybrid graphics card a few weeks ago. When booting it gave me a strange error where a green flickering screen with the shutdown wheel only after drivers are installed. I did everything I could think of then tried a founders edition 3090 ti and still the same error, but works perfectly fine with my 1660 super. Any ideas of other things I could try? I am working to find someone with another set up to test the card itself on but thought it was unlikely to get 2 DOA cards from different manufacturers/suppliers My current build: Intel i5-10600k MSI Z490 gaming edge wifi motherboard nvidia rtx 3090 ti (previously asus tuf 1660 super) corsair rmx1000x 16gb corsair RAM samsung 1tb nvme ssd Here is the list of what I have tried so far: Bios update DDU wipe and reinstall (Driver updates include 522.25 and 526.47) installing older driver changed PCIe max link speed from auto to 3.0

I want to run games like MW2(2022), ARK 2 and Black Myth Wukong on Ultra/Maxed settings 2k Resolution whilst achieving at least minimum 144fps for my 144hz monitor. Thanks ~FLiY -
Budget (including currency): ~ $500 - 800 USD Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming - Mainly Shooters - ~ 100 FPS - 1080p and 1440p I am currently planning to use a Intel Core i5-12600K, 16 Gb DDR4-3600 CL18 RAM, and a 750 - 850 PSU and need some help deciding on a GPU. I was thinking of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070. Is that going to be enough, too much, or too little for the build? Should I buy from NVIDIA (GeForce), somebody else, or one of the upgraded GPU's? i’m getting it around 480 cad used ofc and have been offered to stress test it prior to purchase. Is there anything I should look out for? or outright not buy it? -currently have a 1070 and it’s starting to show it’s age, also made a not good for electronics smell. - other opinions including (used but not from pre built) -> 3060 ti ($400-450), 3070 ($500-alot) Edit: one more note, the rear io looks dinged up with scratches and marks which is a lil scary. Edit 2: My bad, the card is a 3070 which is why i’m considering it (since it’s priced similarly to what i can get a 3060ti for) I’ve also added pictures of the card itself!, Thank you for all the assistance so far

I am going to be buying a new PC soon and trying to figure out if I should be even be considering the 40 series with all the terrible pricing, specs and low end proformance increases? On the other hand is the 30 series still relavent (considering that the 40 series cards are more powerful) or being made with the newer cards on the market? I have a 2060 mobile currently if that matters to anyone making a suggestion.

I am looking into replacing my 980 Ti FTW with a 30 series card, hopefully the 3070 when it comes out. But I need to know a few things first. My system is an Corsair H115i AIO, internal USB Hub, AMD Ryzen 7 2700, Asus ROG Strix X470-F GAMING Motherboard, 32GB of ram, 1 USB 3.0 Expansion Card, 1 Elgato HD60 Pro, 4 Hard Drives, 1 SSD, and basically all full USB ports but more importantly, a EVGA G2 SuperNova 750Watt PSU. Is a 750 Watt with 2 8-Pins GPU Plugs enough to power a 30 Series GPU, AND all the other devices plugged/wired into my computer? I didn't want to drop money till I knew for sure that a 3070 would be able to work and my other concern is that my PCIe is 3.0 not 4.0. Let me know and thanks in advance!

I've been looking at reviews for the 30 series cards and that if some cards have the cheap capacitors in them, they would cause issues when the cards OC'd themselves past 2GHz. Would anyone happen to know if the GIGABYTE RTX 3090 MASTER 24G has the cheap or expensive capacitors, or is this only applicable to the 3080 cards? Thanks heaps
