Budget (including currency): 2000-2500 USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Some of everything. I play anything from your typical FPS games to city management games like anno or cities skylines to heavily modded skyrim. My problem is I HAVEN'T been able to play the games I want to play on my current setup, but I want to be able to. Games like Escape from Tarkov, which are quite demanding, are basically impossible for me now. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I recently started encountering issues with my current PC and while I still haven't given up on it, I started doing some preliminary browsing since at some point I DO want to upgrade again. I'm tired of playing at 45 FPS. It shouldn't run that bad but for some reason it's just chugging along and started having some issues with crashing. -Previous PC specs are: Ryzen 5 3600 RTX 2070 Super MPG X570 Gaming Plus 16GB of DDR4 I do not need any peripherals as I still have all of that aside from needing a new headset. I have two monitors: A 1440p Q2711SH and a something something generic 1080p monitor I got off facebook marketplace a long time ago for secondary use. I also have a USB network adapter I use to get WIFI though I don't know if that will be better or worse than integrated WIFI. So I'm looking to play at 1440p for the time being with the best frame rate possible. 4k gaming, while it sounds nice, has never been something I deliberately tried to obtain but with technology improving, who knows. My budget is near the high end as obviously paying less is a good thing, but it would be nice to join the cool kids finally. I made PC Part Picker list based on some early research but some input from smarter people is appreciated. I also didn't include a case yet on the list since I don't know yet how big of a case I will need to fit the 7900 XTX. Anyways, I could use some help making sure I didn't make any glaring mistakes. Or feel free to make your own build in my budget if it makes more sense. Thank you https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GRbNcH

Please read until end Hi everyone, this is going to be my first full build ever! If anyone was any suggestions to different parts to either make this build better or cheaper within my $2500 USD budget please let me know! Budget and Location - As stated before my budget is $2500 USD and I live in the continental US. That budget needs to cover the entire PC, a keyboard, OS (Windows 10 PRO), and all shipping costs. I already have a monitor and mouse. Also, due to business reasons, everything needs to be from Newegg. Aim - This PC will be used for video editing (Adobe CC Suite), audio production (ProTools 12), and minor 3D rendering (Rhinocerous 5). There will be almost no gaming on this PC, I might run something like Rocket League which shouldn't affect anything. Monitors - Right now I have a Dell u3415w ultra wide monitor (3440x1440). In the future I may be upgrading to having two of these monitors. Peripherals - Like I said before, I will need a keyboard and an OS. Why I am upgrading - I am upgrading because my current PC is approaching 7 years old and is just not able to keep up with my demands anymore. This needs to be a complete build because the previous PC does still run for me and it is an HP so there is very little actually upgrade-able. What parts I am looking at - Right now I am looking at an I7 7820x with 32gb of ram, 850W Power supply, a gtx 1080, a 500gb SSD and a 2TB HDD. Here is the link to the PCPartPicker List of everything that I have selected right now - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rdTdhq Questions - Will I need to purchase any extra fan cables? An internal USB hub for everything? Any more Sata Cables? Again any suggestions to help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance for all the help!

Looking for people to recommend components for a build that costs between $2000 and $2500. I am upgrading from an older PC and am hoping to be able to use some of the original parts such as: the corsair AX860i power supply, 240GB Kingston SSD, and corsair h100i CPU cooler. I am uncertain if these parts are outdated and should be upgraded or they are fine as is. My intentions for the new computer are completely honorable such as gaming, minor video editing/streaming, and messing around in blender. For gaming I would like to be able to maintain 60+ frames on the highest settings for most modern games in 1440 or 4k (I haven't decided if upgrading to 4k is worth it. My current monitor is an ASUS PB278Q that has a resolution of 2560x1440). When it comes to looks over performance, I am more interested in performance. For instance not everything has to have LED's. As far as the case goes, I would prefer something that can house 140mm fans has good airflow and is moderately quiet. To sum it all up and be frank, I do not know if what I ask for is outlandish for this price so treat the price as rather fluid while still trying to keep to the original parameters. TL:DR $2000-$2500 Looking to build a new PC already have power supply, cpu cooler, and storage SSD. (*maybe read above) Want to game at 60+ max settings on most games, with a resolution of 1440 or higher Performance over looks Do not include price of peripherals Thanks for all the help. This will be the third computer I have built and am still very much a noob.

Alright this might be an odd question but for my 16 birthday my parents give it one last hurrah before they stop giving me gifts and I get to spend $2500. My birthday is in August and I will turn 16 in 2016. I want to build an awesome rig that will last me until I finish college. I am hoping to use Skylake and the Nvidia Pascal chip when that comes out but do you guys think I should buy the AMD 390X when it comes out and keep it in my current rig until I build my new one and save on a graphics card? With that money too I could buy a laptop I also need for college, but I could by that senior year with my own money. What do you guys think, build an amazing PC with mostly max stuff like DDR4, Skylake, 32 Gb RAM, SSD, 4K monitor, and a new GPU that support HBM? I have a GTX760 right now and I just want to play GTA V at medium 60 FPS. I don't know if I should buy a new graphics card or use the money I have been saving to build an even more epic $3500 gaming PC or $3000. All I know is that is the most I am probably ever going to spend on a PC, well until I have a set career that pays well.

I've been looking for awhile for incredible gaming experience without breaking too much bank. I'm looking to spend less than $2500 including a monitor. So far I've come up with this parts list but could use some suggestions regarding the MOBO and the PSU. I'm open to other suggestions as well, especially regarding the cooling of the unit. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YGKqMp CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($279.99 @ Micro Centerh4 Thoughts on which one you prefer? CPU Cooler: Swiftech H220-X 55.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler -or- CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Nepton 240M 76.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($101.99 @ NCIX US) Could really use some expert guidance regarding a quality overclocking MOBO. Please help! I'd ideally like to put money into other components if possible. This seems like overkill but not sure what else to look at. I also would prefer if it looked aesthetically pleasing Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($208.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($94.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Seagate 4TB 3.5" 5900RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive ($144.99 @ Amazon) - curious to hear everyone's thoughts on hybrid like this instead of a SSD and an HDD. Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB HYBRID Video Card ($759.99 @ Amazon) - was also considering the HYDRO from EVGA but I'd then have to spend a few hundred dollars more on liquid cooling parts to support the card. Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case ($109.99 @ Newegg) Monitor: Acer XB270H Abprz 144Hz 27.0" Monitor ($477.05 @ Amazon) - went with this because as wonderful as its 1440p big brother looks, I'm worried that it will have significant fps drops in upcoming games. I would like to play my games with as high of fps as possible and pushing a 1440p would demand 78% more pixels from the GPU - an unnecessary trade-off in my mind for what i'd gain. I want to push 60+ fps for as long as possible with this system and 1440p would significantly hurt PSU: Looking for recommendations that would maximize efficiency. Apparently I need at least 24 amps per 12 volt rail? Not sure what that means really. Would prefer a modular PSU if possible. Will probably need some static pressure fans also... Open to any and all suggestions!!! Thanks so much for all of your help

Hello, I just want to hear your guys opinion on what you think the best budget build is for $2500 I will be doing gaming and rendering

Hello I'm thinking about buying a custom made gaming PC from mwave.com.au (yes I'm in Australia so AU$ prices would be great). Using this link http://www.mwave.com...pc/configure/43 what do you think the best X99 config is for $2500 at Max $3000 thx. I don't feel comfortable doing my first build with very expensive parts so please don't say it's cheaper doing it that way, I know. I will be gaming and doing rendering and also please leave any suggestions for places who custom build PC's in NSW, SYDNEY.

I plan on buying a PC soon, i've got all my peripherals down so i just need the CPU. I currently chose already some parts but i'm still unsure whether they will be my final specs. As stated in the title, this will be for gaming and architectural rendering/modelling, and i'd like to use AIO liquid cooling. I will be overclocking. *$2500 = 109225.00 PHP (Philippine Pesos) These 2 are the stores I will be buying from so if you guys could check them out and suggest some builds using the links provided would be great! THE CHEAPER THE BETTER (without sacrificing performance and cooling of course) http://www.tipidpc.com/useritems.php?username=PCHub# http://www.tipidpc.com/useritems.php?username=pcnetmiles PREFERENCES: Intel Core i7-4770K (if 4790K comes out then i'll get that instead) a Z97 Motherboard MSI GTX 780Ti Gaming 3G 16Gb RAM (2x8 or 4x4 doesn't matter, the lower the latency the better) 250Gb SSD (is as high as i can go) Water cooled CPU and GPU (currently dunno where to buy a gpu block) As for my case, i can't seem to decide between the 760T, 750D, 600T Color coordination is appreciated CURRENT CHOSEN SPECS: Thats pretty much it. Still not sure when i'll be able to buy all of this, hopefully soon. Thank to everyone that helps!!

Hey guys, So I have been planing on making my first desktop. I've done quite a bit of research and this is what I have come up with. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3NR3h I am planning on doing mostly a lot of gaming and basic light workload stuff. I'll also be doing a bit of video editing here and there. Did I pick the right parts? I want to keep the build at around $2500, but I am very willing to pay extra money if it's worth it. Also, I was thinking on changing the case to an Enthoo Luxe once that comes out. But as of right now the 760t seems to be the best option. Is there anything I should change on my build? Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance Edit - I am also a complete noob when it comes to motherboards, so any input/help with that would be great. Edit 2 - I forgot to mention this, but I was thinking of getting this instead of the Razer Blade 2014/MSI GS60 3k, which are around $2200-$2700. I was completely willing on spending $2500 on a desktop, because that is around the same price as the laptops. I know it may be overkill to have a $2500 desktop as my first build, but I already had my mind set on spending that money. I would possibly look into a cheaper desktop, but nothing under the performance of the two laptops. I don't know how much that makes sense, but basically - cheap desktop < gaming laptop < $2500 desktop

I would also like at least 2 terabytes of storage. Uses: Computer Science, Video Editing and rendering, Gaming, and CAD work. I finally need a monitor.
