Looking for an 1150 motherboard with a black and white colour scheme to match the Corsair 760T. Heres a picture of the case for those who aren't familiar: http://www.corsair.com/en/graphite-series

I am looking for a 180mm white led fan. This will be at the front of my case, meaning that it will have to be fairly quiet as well. I would like some suggestions. All of the highly regarded fans either don't have LEDs or don't have white ones.

After the completion of Twitch Plays Pokémon (starting again in another day and a half), a petition appeared on whitehouse.gov: Source: Whitehouse.gov I didn't catch Twitch Plays Pokémon, but they must really be excited about the game. It's only got about 1300 signatures as of now, but someone had to create it.

Hey guys, A bit of dilemma here. I'm having trouble choosing between the WHITE/BLACK NZXT H440, or the BLACK/RED one. Motherboard: ASUS P7P55D-E (bright blue/silver) Graphics card: MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition (black, blue) --> may switch to a Titan Black though, which is color neutral. RAM does not have a heatsink. CPU Fan: Silver Arrow Thermalright CPU fan (light brown...like noctua) but I plan to switch to NZXT Kraken X60 so that wouldn't be a huge problem. Of course right now, white seems the best choice. But I am not a huge fan of glossy metal panels (easily scratched, only reason I wouldn't pick white). If I do switch to some Asus ROG board in the future when I purchase a new GPU, then the red/black case would make a lot of sense... And I am okay with matte paint... I am just afraid white glossy cases get easily scratched. Thanks guys!

White Obsidian So this is a project I've had simmering in the back of my head ever since I saw the 900D, it would probably look good in white. So after months of waiting the case finally arrived and I could tearing it down. (I apologize for the bad pictures, someone had run off with my camera). Now for the rest of the build I'm pretty fixed on the MB and CPU, but the rest I'm sort of wondering what I should do with so I'm really open to suggestions. As for the watercooling I'm a rookie, so I'll take any suggestions to what's good to use and such. Components: MB: MSI Z87 MPOWER MAX CPU: Intel 4770K GPU: Nvidia GeForce Titan RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 500GB HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3TB x3 PSU: Corsair AX860i Watercooling: CPU Block: EK-Supremacy Clean CSQ - Acetal+Nickel GPU Block: EK-FC Titan SE - Acetal+Nickel + EK-FC Titan SE Backplate - Black Radiators: EK-CoolStream RAD XTX (480) x2 Pump: EK-D5 Vario X-TOP - Acetal (incl. pump) Reservoir: EK-RES X3 250 x2 (I have a small idea with this) Fittings: Haven't decided on which fittings I want yet. Tubing: TUBE PrimoChill PrimoFlex™ Advanced LRT™ 15,9 / 9,5mm - Elegant White Coolant: Haven't purchased any yet, not decied on what colour I want either.

Hi this is my first post. I wasn't too sure where to post it but since it involves radiators I thought I would put it here. I am in need of an major upgrade soon and I was thinking I would try doing a fully custom water cooling loop since I use a h100i at the moment. I've been doing my research and I'm going to swap out my coolermaster 690 ii for a white switch 810 with some other colour like green or red, maybe even both. I basicly need to know what white fan that works well on a radiator but with a low amount of noise. Budget is not an issue as of now. Also could you please include what radiator the fan works well will (low fpi or high fpi) My build will be a new haswell i7 CPU and 2x gtx 780 (surround gaming on bf4) All kinds off advice will be very much appreciated.

It's already a few months old, and I already posted guts in another thread, but I just found some pics from the day I built it, so why not... I split one of the 8pins connector so it allows me to use only one PCIe cable. And my desk, I use a mouse pad now though (Steelseries Qck), and there's some different stuff on the wall. I usually try to cover the messy wallpaper.

UPDATE: Replacement Siwftech H220 has ALSO failed. Pump failure was the cuase, but this time, in a less "chaotic" way. Well...I received my Swiftech H220 from NCIX last week. I Performed a full inspection on the exterior of the unit - all checked out okay, other then a few minor bent radiator fins. Installed the unit into my system today, and approximately after 20 minutes of operation, white electrical smoke started to emerge from the 4-pin PWM connection that comes out from the CPU water block / pump. Powered the system down IMMEDIATELY by pressing and holding the power button on my computer. Thankfully I was standing right beside my computer. Inspected the unit and saw part of the insulation on the 4-pin PWN connector is melted, and a bit of the black plastic on the block itself (near the connector) is burnt / melted. The CPU water block / pump was quite warm to the touch. I don't even know what to say. Quite literally less than 30 minutes of operation. I'm actually shocked that this happened. I've installed the unit according to the instruction booklet provided with the H220 unit, AND referred to the instructional videos on Swiftech's website. Additionally, I checked the BIOS to make sure the pump was being controlled via PWM. After clearing the smoke from my house (smell is still lingering), I began to do some research. This seems to be a common issue with the H220 - premature pump failure. I noticed a bit of what seemed like the sound of water rushing through when I was handling the H220. I'm beginning to assume the kit was not completely filled with liquid from the factory, and there were air bubbles in the loop. As a result, the air might of gotten trapped at the pump and made it operate dry, causing this failure to occur. I've already started an RMA with my retailer, NCIX, hopefully some-what better news will come back from them and/or Swiftech. Was thinking Swiftech, a company known for their liquid cooling products, and the concept of an expandable liquid cooling All-In-One kit...being able to overclock my FX-8350 further than 4.8GHz, hopefully into the 5GHz zone...and stay cool during the summer temperatures...just...I don't know what to say.

I am Planning to paint my corsair obsidian 900D white while leaving the front panel black. But Im not sure whether or not to paint it matt white or make it a shiny white? Tips on how to paint the case or threads to other people's painted case would be appreciated

I just found this new case, I wanted you're opinion on the colourscheme choice by bitfenix. Personally, Im not sure why they chose purple to go with white. It makes the case stand out but surely there would be a larger market for some other colour even if they wanted to be more unique. Link:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-179-BX

Yarrrrrr, Galaxy be working on a white "GTX 770 HOF ICE", (Hall Of Fame) watercooled edition.. It will feature both a white PCB, probably the same as their previous 770 HOF card aswell as a white full-cover waterblock with brushed aluminium plate in its center right. Galaxy did not mention who will fabricate the block but, as EK has previously released a white waterblock for the GTX 780 HOF. I'm assuming this also be their work but that not be been confirmed. It be unkown right now, when Galaxy will release this card. Source, sorry for now only dutch: http://nl.hardware.info/nieuws/39995/galaxy-werkt-aan-gtx-770-hof-ice-met-wit-waterblok EDIT: English article: http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/news/article.php?storyid=9862 Yarrrrr, Seems great for people with builds that include these colours, and don't want to break the bank on a new videocard. Personally I don't like white in builds at all so I wouldn't buy them.

Hey forum, just noticed some small white particles swimming around in my reservoir. They range from a size of aprox. ~0.5 to ~1mm and judging by the shape, they look like they consist of some kind of goo-like substance. They also appear to float on the surface, instead of swimming around in the coolant. Speaking of coolant, I'm running destilled water with an anti-corrosive concentrate which contains a biocide (at least I am 99% sure it does), nothing else. Tubing is XSPC UV clear and I am not mixing metals. The loop has been running for about two months now and I'm wondering if my tubing is starting to break down or if there is some other kind of contaminant in the loop... is there anyone who can tell me what is causing this and should I be concerned about it?

Hey guys, I've done a thread asking for the best water cooling colour scheme and I got mixed results. The fact of the matter is that its all subjective and its up to the builder. So I thought about this for a bit and have decided on a few colour schemes. Here is the few: White accents, Silver blocks, Black overall Yellow accents, Gold blocks, Black overall Mix of Black and White with some colored LEDs lighting up the system. So, this is simply what I've come up with so far. Its not much but I hope its an idea. I anything else is ok too. I dont mind. The only thing about water cooling is that I don't really like red and/or green. Why? because there is too much of it and the image with builds like these is that they all seem as if they're overdone. Especially green (No Offence meant). Also, Red feels like its too overrated. Just all my opinions thou. Would be greatly appreciated if you guys could help me out here. If not, that's fine too. I came here to kindly ask for suggestions, not to demand them. Thanks in Advance,

A little over a week ago, I left my computer for about half an hour and when my girlfriend went to go wake up my displays... my main monitor had gone white. I went to inspect it and after a quick test to be sure that it wasn't my video card or DVI cable, I came to the conclusion that something was clearly wrong with the monitor itself. Having encountered this same issue several years prior with a friend's monitor, I knew that the issue may lay with the internal video cable connected to the panel itself. So, after 25 minutes of wedging the casing open with a screwdriver because this monitor had no external screws to get inside (I really hate when companies do that), I finally got the thing apart and wasn't incredibly encouraged by what I saw inside. This monitor has previously died on me a couple years prior (not a white screen, it died with absolutely no life whatsoever) and so I had it sent in to be repaired. I don't know whether the monitor I got back was my original monitor or whether they had just replaced it with a refurbished one, but they had done an absolute terrible job of working on it that's for sure. The insides were loosely held together with this very cheap tape that caused all the parts to wiggle around much more than I would be comfortable with. I started by removing this tape and replacing it with some gaffers tape (in the words of Ryan Shrout, gaf tape solves all). After that I located the internal video cable, unplugged it, and proceeded to clean it thoroughly to be sure that the connectors were all making good contact. I also used canned air on the female part of the connector to be sure that there wasn't dust or something of the sorts. I slapped it back together and low and behold... it worked! I realized at the time that this may not have been a permanent fix and several days later I found that the monitor had gone white again, just as I had feared. So, I popped it open again, cleaned the connector and... it worked again. Well, over the past couple days the amount of time between the monitor working and going white has been decreasing until tonight when after I cleaned it, it didn't go back to normal again. So, I realize the odds of this thing being fixed are low, and I definitely can't spend very much time or money on it... but I wanted to know if any of you had any suggestions before I bite the bullet and replace it. Anything you can think of trying that might help to resolve this issue? I should also mention that I know that the monitor is actually a rebranded Acer monitor and it's an LG panel on the inside. This information probably doesn't change much, but maybe it could add some context for someone. Anyway thanks guys, I appreciate your help. -Julian

Hi guys, I am planning to water cool (or begin to assemble the parts) after the 9970 drops in October-ish and I purchase that. I want this build to be beautiful. I also want it to be high quality, so I will not cheap out on anything. Water cooling starts at the "Other" parts. So,

Hi guys, If I wanted screws that looked just like this: But are white, where would I look/what would I do? Same thing for the nuts/washers. MDPC is awesome, but Nils (the guy who owns it) is not interested in such things as I was going to email and ask him about them and in his contact us it says not to for that reason and the answer will always be "No". I need white ones for my build. Thanks, Vitalius

First thing: This PC system was build over a year ago, it's had recent upgrades, the latest being a corsair H100 which I bought for just £44.99 on Overclockers UK. This build was important for me, it was my first personal Intel build. I've built loads of PC's over the years as I'm an engineer but this is my 3rd personal build. I got hold of the prodigy as I wanted something different, something unique, something beautiful while maintaining the ability of taking extreme hardware. I researched what ITX boards I could get and found that Asus was my ideal choice. I chose the Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe since I would of been silly to choose anything else. I had a massive Coolermaster 612S cooler and all the other boards had CPU sockets too close to the GPU socket meaning useless unless your using stock or watercooling. I then found a cheap enough and reasonable set of 2X4GB 1333 RAM which I now regret getting as there was 1600MHz RAM for about £8 - £10 more, I was silly!! The full specifications are below, I've changed the case about 3 times to and fro a Coolermaster Elite 120 since I was moving home ect and needed something a little smaller, but this was only temporary thing. Specifications: Intel Core I5 3570K AMD Radeon HD6950 (was a HD6850) 8GB DDR3 1333MHz 60GB OCZ Agility3 boot drive 1TB WD Blue drive Hyper 580 Mk II PSU Corsair H100 I love this system apart from one thing I cant be asked to change.... you can probably guess it... Windows 8! I bought the £25.00 offer and I still think it was a waste of money! I've had to hack a proper start menu into it so it works properly. Feel free to suggest any updates / upgrades (NOT HASWELL, It's a waste of money in my opinion.) I've also lost the front bay cover so might try and buy a new coloured panel, maybe a black one or something. Cheers for the views, hope you enjoy!

EK apparently has a white waterblock in the works that is compatible with the Galaxy GTX 780 Hall of Fame Edition graphics card, known for its shmexy white PCB and cooler. The waterblock will be available to purchase in late October of this year. Source: Techpowerup My opinion: This obviously is not earth-shattering, but it is still nice to see. Custom watercooling isn't just about overclocks, it is about great aesthetics and low noise. I'm sure many enthusiasts are happy about the unique looks that a white graphics card can offer.
