Hi, so here's the thing. I've been a gamer ever since i was like 1. My brother and I would play Halo 1 all day, everyday. Now. i'm about to turn 15. I created my YouTube channel early 2010. I've made some YouTube videos back then (Very Cringe lol) but stopped for a few years. NOW, I REALLY want to do it again. Summer's coming up and I will most likely be home-schooled so i will have ALOT of time. The only thing is...can i still get noticed on youtube? Literally, just thinking about it, having a fanbase, making videos, make revenue if possible to improve my content. But, there's already alot of people who are famous and such. I feel like i have no chance at all. I started doing it alittle now, i have 134 Subs. I'm planning on getting an Elgato HD60 Pro and a Blue Yeti Mic. I want to do gaming videos (unboxings, gameplay, news, reviews, etc). Probably CoD most of the time, but not 100% yet. If you check my channel [removed], you will see that i try but its too hard. Im using the GameDVR/Share Factory to record and that's why i'm getting an Elgato and Blue Yeti to improve. I'm also gonna be using Sony Vegas Pro 13 to edit and stuff. I have finally decided to organise all of my photos and videos. I currently have a 2TB external hard drive and it is dedicated to footage storage. Currently, I have a massive list of randomly named folders with random junk inside. I really need a file system for photos and videos so that they are organised and I can find anything when I want to. Does anyone have a solid, working files ystem that I could use?

Hello everyone, Over the last few months i had purchased and Elgato Hd60 in hopes to use it for A: Streaming games from a console to twitch. as well as B: Using it to create content for YouTube. When i got the Elgato in the mail i was ecstatic and decided to hook it up and test it out. After a few hours of fiddling with it i managed to get it working and tested it out. The streaming quality was quite bad and a decided that my current computer, An ''Aspire S3'' could not run everything properly. The entire thing in and of its self does everything that i need it to without attempting to create videos/content but i think its time to get a new computer that will be able to work perfectly paired with the Elgato HD60, as well as be able to play a fair amount of pc games. ((League of Legends, Smite, Darksouls III, and Evolve)) Im not asking for ultra settings on everything that I play but being able to keep off of the bare minimum for some of these games would be perfect. As of the moment I have a build in mind for a computer, something i asked a few of my friends to help me on ((http://pcpartpicker.com/user/burnco12/saved/#view=Y2wG3C)) This computer setup should be able to run everything i have in mind. ((Note: I do not have a decent monitor as well as a keyboard and mouse. I am also in the process of getting a new tv to play the games on)) So if you ignore the extras that i just listed. Hello, I thought I would post a thread about this as it's been an issue for a while and I have not been able to fix it to date. So I have many videos and media that I'd like to stream to my tele, in my case via my Xbox One. But I have a strange issue that won't allow me to. I have tried talking to microshaft, and many other troubleshooting methods on the internet but nothing as of yet has fixed the problem. Unfortunately I only got so far with talking to Microsoft before I had to move on, I should probably give them a second chance to troubleshoot it but I don't have the patience to hear their silly suggestions. The issue is that I cannot see my PC as a DLNA server and when I try the cast to feature, it simply times out and says an error occurred. The strange thing is if I start the stream through my laptop, from the same file, in the same PC, it works! This leads me to believe it is an issue between the connection between the Xbox and PC, when the laptop tries it must act as a middle man. so Desktop->Xbox won't work but desktop->laptop->Xbox does. I have tried to troubleshoot this before but without any luck, wondered if anyone had any advice or has had this issue before?

Hi guys, I'm having a little problem which I haven't encountered so far and I hope you guys can at least point me into a direction to solve this. This problem startead appearing about 3 weeks ago and it's causing my first thread in my 4770K CPU (which has been automatically overclocked from the Asus UI of my motherboard - BIOS, selected Performance profile), while watching Youtube. This occurs sometimes (ocasionally) and it affects the sound played back from Youtube in the sense that it's like "dropping frames", the sound falls down in quality and the music stutters. When I close the Youtube tab, the spikes in Thread #1 fall back to normal. I've attached some screenshots with Task Manager where you can also see the temps of my processor and the list of processes running at the time. I have never seen this before and couldn't find anything on the web regarding this problem. I've tried restarting my PC, updating Chrome, removing all unnecessary Chrome extensions (not only disabling, fully removing them). I'd be very grateful if you guys can help me solve this. What should I check? What should I change? Thanks, Radu

Hey everybody so i'm currently picking parts for my first build and i thought it would be a cool idea to add a tv additional to my monitor to the setup to connect via hdmi cable to play on watch videos etc. out of the comfort of my bed but i don't want to spend a lot since my budget is pretty much depletet i am willing to spend 200-300€ thanks for your help in advance

So people have been telling me that Plex is "the stuff" and so I built a new media server and put Plex on it and it sucks... I tried to add my Futurama TV show and it found all 7 seasons (because there was 7 folders) and then it only added 1 or 2 episodes (or media files) from each folder then it proceeded to completely change the names on everything and posters on the files. Is there anyway to manually add files and names instead of Plex not finding 90% of the files and randomly naming it stuff???

does any one know how to send video request to LINUS I want to see him build a cluster computer as know on one YouTube has seemed to done it yet or at least I cant find a good one this could maybe be ​x3 Z10PE-D16 WS duel CPU mother board and the ​x6 Intel Xeon E5 2699 v3 18 CORE processors if linked to together in a cluster that would be an insane 108 core 216 threads and imagine the graphics power with 12 NVidia GTX 980 or maybe a 36 core workstation linked with something like a top end rampage 5 gamming rig and then a top end media pc so you have the best of 3 worlds or maybe some other combination if you can think of any better combination feel free to post them along with what you would put into your cluster ! me i want to buy a lian li pc d666 case this case has 2 compartments and allows you to install a workstation in one side and a gamming rig in the other I would then build a third compartment on the bottom for a media pc and link all 3 computers together in one big water loop as well as one big cluster. I would use the clear ultra violate liquid and different colour LED's for each side I like the idea of this computer looking like it all belongs together as one, instead of 3 cases just linked together with cables

Hows it going everyone? I am current in the process of building my new PC and I am struggling to find decent monitors that are not super expensive. I would prefer to pay no more then $450 (each). I would like a 2560x1440p monitor instead of a 1920x1080 or 4K monitor. I do not feel 4K is needed nor do I really want it. Also the price is out the roof. I don't really want a 1080p monitor because of the fact that they have been around a long time and going for something a little bit more fresh and beautiful. I am an entry level software developer, play games, edit video, work in photo shop and much more, so, I need something that can handle it all and look great. I will be buying two of these monitors so that is why my budget is set around $450 (hopefully). For all who are wondering, I am picking myself up a EVGA GeForce GTA 980 Ti SC+ Gaming ACX 2.0+ to run these beasts. I would prefer nothing larger then 27 inches being that I need to buy a mount for both because I will not be able to use the regular stands on my desk. Though I will be gaming sometimes, but not all the time, 144Hz vs. 60Hz is not my largest concern unless the majority can explain why I want 144Hz. Overall, I am looking for a beautiful set of multitasking monitors. If someone knows of a good multitasking 21:9 monitor thats ultra wide but around $900, let me know also. I must be able to put multiple large windows around the same screen though for productivity. I really appreciate any help when looking for a good set of monitors. Thank you, Dylan.

Hello was wondering what the most optimal res is if my GPU cant handle 1920x1080 since its really choppy on a game like for example far cry 3 i guess its becuse its a newer game than what i usually play. and another question those the settings on the details on the game effect the overall recording so if i have high on all detail settings does that mean that it can lead to lag? sorri for bein scrib and i use OBS i watched barnacules guide on how to use obs so i have some idea of OBS

So I recently got a WD My Book and My Book Duo and downloaded the three WD programs that came with it. Using their WD security I set a password for both of them. I then proceeded to reroute the location of my "Videos" file in my library (previously located in my D:\Users\Charles\Videos) to My Book Duo (now located in E:\) so that any videos I have and will have in the future will directly go to that external hard drive. However, it seems that whenever I try to go to my videos in my library, there is a "WD Drive Unlock" preventing me from accessing my videos and when I click on it, it says that it is already unlocked. The only way I can access my videos is through "This PC" -> "My Book Duo (G:)". So is there a way to get rid of this "WD Drive Unlock" that is preventing me direct access to it from my library? I have already tried removing my password and currently have "auto unlock for this computer" enabled and neither of them worked. I have a screenshot below to show what it looks like. While we're on this topic, whenever my computer boots up and I log into my user account, both files from My Book and My Book Duo pops up, is there any way to get rid of that? Any help would be appreciated!

About a week ago I ran into trouble, middle of a DayZ session up at North-West Airfield, middle of a gun fight, my screen blacked out and a message came up "No signal" though I could still hear shooting through my headset, so it was only video lose. Now I used to run a GTX 660 on this computer and I upgraded to the GTX 960 couple of months ago! and since then I ran the computer on some intense shit! I rendered couple of videos on it too since the upgrade. Recently the problem got even worse, my monitor would black out and say no signal only when I ran my games but now it sometimes happens even when I full screen a video on YouTube or when I watch videos straight from my HDD, but wait there's more it sometimes happens when I'm on Google images, eBay and even on start up! What have I tried: Checked the cable + Swapped it Swapped out the monitor Checked cable from PSU to GPU Cleaned the case fans Updated GPU driver My specs OS: Windows 10 Home 64Bit CPU: Intel I7-3770 @ 3.40Ghz PSU: Dell Inc, 460W GPU: Evga GTX 960 2Gb RAM: 8GB HDD: 2Tb MOB: Dell Inc. 0NW73C Help me... please, I'm dying of thirst... the thirst to play one more CSGO match and shoot a silver in the head, one more Fallout mission where I setup another fkin minuteman outpost. This might just be me, but I wanted to double check with you guys first. I signed up for Vessel, mostly just to get the one year of free "premium tier" streaming, and would honestly consider paying the $3 a month after that period is over if this improves, but honestly, it's a mess. Setting aside the fact that you can't middle click links to open them in a new tab like you can on youtube, and the fact that it's comment system is horrendous, it's nearly impossible to watch a complete video straight through! I can stream 1080p60fps on youtube without a single buffer, yet I need to pause every Vessel video every ten seconds or so to let it buffer, and for an average 10 minute video, the player will simply stop loading new video 3-5 times, meaning I have to figure out exactly where I am in the video, refresh the page, and then jump to that time, multiple times, just to watch an LTT video! I'm hoping that this is one of two things, either just a bad connection to my location, or just a part of the growing pains involved in offering a new streaming site, either way, I'm hoping you here in the LTT community can shed some light on the matter. Hello about 6 months ago I opened a gaming youtube account however it was shortlived as it was banned not too long after. To this day I still don't have a clear answer why my account was permanently banned.The videos I had posted was just me playing Borderlands The Pre-Sequel however with the game audio muted because of all the content id stuff on youtube and an running commentary from me. I've run youtube channels before and there all still good standing today. My only difference is that on this channel I created custom thumbnails to try and add a few more viewers and look more professional. All I did was take a picture off Google of the game from the trailer as I made it before the game was released.I then added the games logo and the words playthrough pt.x in a similar font to the games. After checking youtube's copyright page o still don't have an answer. Can anybody help me out? And I apologise is this isn't the correct place to post this.

Where does all of the music in the videos come from? I'm not talking about the intro but like the rock loops in Scrapyard wars and stuff like that.
