Hello, I'm very stumped with this issue and would love it is someone else had some thoughts on it. I recently built a computer for my girlfriend using some new and old parts. I reused a PSU, ram and some storage. All of the parts reused where farmed from what was working HTPC. The issue: The computer randomly (independent of the task being run) will lose video output and then reboot. When this happens 5 beeps can be heard followed by pause and another beep(as the PC restarts). (see video) Things I've already checked myself : It's not a heat related issue as the issue still occurs when the PC is idle. I used to have a much newer 32gb of ram in this PC but I replaced them with the current 16gb ram to discard ram issues. Tried reseting the CPU as well. I've tried looking up what the beeps can mean but what I'm finding is pretty broad anything from CPU, PSU, GPU, RAM and Motherboard issues... I'm not a new building a PC from scratch, again. My gut tells me it may be the NVME that could be the issue (probably the oldest part) but I'd rather not replace it until I have some evidence to this being the issue. (money is tight at) I've tried running the windows built in drive test with no issues found. Here are the main parts: ASRock B450M STEEL LEGEND (reused) AMD Ryzen 7 5800x (new) GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6800 XT GAMING OC 16G (new) Corsair Vengeance RGB 16gb RAM (reused) EvGA 750w power supply(reused) VID_20231006_144157.mp4

Guys, I want to buy a good, and warm jacket because the one I´ve been using is getting old. Please post your favorite jackets, if you find a link it would be awesome aswell. If not images will work. The one I´ve been using is tommy hilfiger packable puffy jacket. Its very warm, I use it with -12C with just a thin sweater and it keeps me very warm. This is the jacket: https://www.amazon.com/Tommy-Hilfiger-Mens-Packable-Jacket/dp/B01B41T77U?th=1 I use the water and wind resistent one, and I also had the black nylon one, but feathers are coming out lol. Bought it for 190 dollars if I remember correctly about 2 years ago

Is there any way I can upload win 10 32 bit to 64 bit without usb drive? Can an virtual dvd drive be used in anyway?

I wasn't planning on it or anything because I know that it would require quite a bit more that just your run of the mill soldering iron, but i was wondering if anyone has successfully replaced an lga socket on a motherboard?

I also don't know what color theme to go with and whether to use water cooling or not. I know that i am gonna get a 1080, 16gb ram and an i7 of some description. Oh and I need a new desk too :)

I couldn't find alot of information on if I need a PCIE SSD drive, or use SATA SSD drives, or perhaps even my controller on the this is my motherboard could even handle my desire for maximum performance? http://ca.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=6027#ov My goal is to never ever see the windows wheel of indecision spinning on my workstation. I've got an i7-6900K processor, 32GB of ram @ 2133Mhz, Samsumg 950 Pro, and a 1070 gigabyte extreme edition on a GA-X99-Ultra Gaming motherboard running windows 10. For some reason it just never seems fast enough, I'd like to find the optimal fastest setup regardless of budget, time, or other factors. I've seen lots of recommendations for Raid 0+1 but would it really be much faster than my setup? I have a Samsung 950 pro SSD 256GB M.2 drive but it never seems truly fast enough. I would like to build the fastest responsive computer ever...attached is a performance measure from the drive. Is raid 0 my next option, and with raid 0 what is the maximum performance x how many possible drives?

I'm thinking of buying a new gpu. I noticed a few of these cards on sale, which seems like a good deal. Red One White One I know from reviews that the red one is very quiet. I can't seem to find any for the white one, or the armor version. I'd rather get that one if it's not much different, because it would match my PC better. Anyone have experience with these?

Hello everyone, I thought of saving up my money for this case. http://www.ebuyer.com/722849-aerocool-1000-white-midi-tower-gaming-case-acoolcsaero?gclid=CjwKEAiA9om3BRDpzvihsdGnhTwSJAAkSewLCQhfnRH1W4helTvTkjDH3n2RBvnhk3nTGMnw85vfxBoCoKTw_wcB#fo_c=951&fo_k=7c10ca584f443dd33c13e8ee89cdda7e&fo_s=gplauk?mkwid=s_dc&pcrid=51482418059&pkw=&pmt= I currently have a fractal design core 1300 case and I really hate that there are no fan filters. In addition I think that the new case will suit to my white and black desk. So what do you think, should I get the new case for that price or should I wait a bit longer till it comes down in price?

So I recently installed a water cooler for my cpu and that's great and all. But now my gpu is getting super hot. Hitting about 60 under pressure and idling at 45. Could this be because I don't have an air cooler on my cpu messing with air flow or what? My GPU is a Gigabye gtx-770 windforce 4gb so with 3 fans, I have no clue why it's getting so hot. My fans are Front- intake Side- intake Back- output Thanks!

Hey, I've just received the parts to be able to finally watercool my system. I'm a first time watercooler but I understand the process. I was wondering if anyone has any tips from experience or anything to help, I want to make it look 'sexy' haha. How much should I sand down the edges? Chris

Hi all, So I bought my first gaming PC back in about February and I got the Coolermaster Devastator Bundle with it. I do enjoy the mouse but it isn't the most comfortable nor the most accurate mouse. I play a bit, not heaps, but a bit of cs:go and I want a great experience for it. I've been looking at multiple different mice, and I've narrowed it down to my favorites which are: Coolermaster Mizer Razer Deathadder Chroma Asus ROG Gladius Cougar 700m Zowie EC2 Evo Steelseries Rival Steelseries Sensei RAW (rubber) Steelseries Sensei Pro Steelseries Kana V2 Logitech G502 Proteus Core So I like all of these, I've tried the cougar before and love it, but the other mice have either great reviews or just catch my eye and interest. When I look everywhere it's constantly, "go with a steelseries rival or a deathadder" but of course there is just so many other options. I'm not picky on colours and high DPI, but I like an ergonomic style, even though the Cougar is a lot different, it's easily customized to my needs. So what should I definitely NOT get from these, and any suggestions from experiences on which are great? Thanks heaps

So yeah, thoughts on this? Personally, I like the new design, way better than the old Lightning design in my opinion. The small fan in the middle with the old design looked weird to me, this looks a lot better. Only thing that bothers me is that yellow 'OC' around the fans, if it was a complete circle on both of them then it would look a lot better or MSI can supply different coloured rings that you can swap out for it to go with your system colour (even though you won't be able to look at it, still good though). But the best thing about it is that a backplate comes with the card and doesn't have that hideous MSI bulge thing on the back found on the old Lightning design. Can't wait to see the reviews of this card and see how it performs with the other Non-Reference cards on the market right now. But dem base and boost clock speeds tho Looking forward to the overclocking potential of this card and also the temperatures You can find more pictures of the card on the website linked below. The 2014 Moto X will be phased out in the next few months by the new model, appropriately named the 2015 Moto X (most likely that is). At this point in time it’s about 9 months old which is normally forever in the mobile world due to the rapid advances in tech. So what’s it like to use now that it’s fallen behind? What’s it like to use last year’s device? Does it keep up? Let’s start off with the specs, the Moto X features a 5.2 inch 1080p AMOLED display with average color accuracy and overall display performance. Where it really shines is its blacks and greys! AMOLED displays excel in this area due to their ability to actually deactivate the pixels that are black. Each pixel acts as its own backlight so there isn’t any uneven lighting to worry about either. The display doesn’t get super bright but I don’t ever go outside so that doesn’t matter really . Reading at night is really nice because it does get pretty dim while still retaining image detail fairly well in my experience. Powering this display is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SOC with an Adreno 320 GPU which makes for snappy performance during Games and general use. Like I stated before, this review is now a bit out of date but honestly this chip holds its own for the most part considering it’s now 2 generations behind in terms of performance! I mean it seems like just yesterday that Qualcomm released the Snapdragon 805 which has now been dethroned by the Snapdragon 810! But honestly none of that matters, they are just specs on a piece of paper. The way this performs in lollipop is one of the best experiences I have had with a phone, honestly. My daily driver is a Nexus 6 which is currently running Android M. The Nexus is the epitome of Android, Googles shining crown! The Moto X keeps up surprisingly well considering it is behind in every single spec department. Motorola made a smart design choice sticking with a stock Android build for the Moto X (Lollipop 5.0), despite its apparent age it’s as fast as or faster in my experience than many of the new smartphones I have used in recent months including the Galaxy S6 and LG Gflex 2. Granted I haven’t spent nearly as much time with them but they still feel bloated down by their respective skin. Motorola keeps things simple, not unnecessary features constantly bugging you to use or ones that are completely useless. What Motorola does include are things like voice features, and motion gestures that can dismiss a phones call or activate its ambient display to show you quick access notifications which saves battery. Speaking of battery it’s pretty decent in my usage thought your mileage may vary, I tend to get about 5.5-6 hours of screen on time, on Wi-Fi with fairly heavy usage (YouTube, forum/web browsing, phone calls, Reddit!!!) What’s really nice is its standby time, with some tinkering it only drops about 3 percent at night time when I’m not using it! Battery charge time is really fast! It has a 2300 MAH battery that charges to 75 percent in about 45 minutes with the Motorola Turbo Charger. Unfortunately it doesn’t have Wireless charging but that’s not a problem for most people including myself. The way the phone sits in the hand is superior to any phone I have ever used! I owned an HTC One M8 and it set well in the hand but those top and bottom chins made it a bit annoying at times to reach and its metal back and rounded sides made it extremely slippery. The Moto X doesn’t have this issue, it’s curved like the M8 but the screen sets even between the top and button, also on the back is a recessed dimple that makes gripping the phone easier. The metal frame really drives home the quality feel of the phone and the customizable back makes the phone very personal. I only have the default. Nothing fancy, black back but it’s still nice feeling and adds to the grippyness. To wrap things up on my generally long/jumbled review (like most of them are) this phone is fast, built well, feature rich and still very viable despite its age. I would recommend picking one up as I did (well it was free, given to me by a great friend) especially now that Motorola has dropped the price and offering a bundle with its Moto 360 smartwatch. <3 Thoughts?
