In my system I have a Ryzen 1500X and an EVGA 1050ti. Rocket League (My favorite game) would normally run at ~150 fps at 1080p. I recently came home one day after letting a family member play on this system while I was away. The sight I saw was unsettling, a black screen with a vertical white bar on the right hand side of the monitor (probably 10 pixels wide). I proceeded to press the reboot button on my front IO, the PC loaded into Windows with no issues. I then ran Geforce Experience and updated drivers, thinking it was a driver issue that caused the black screen. After the driver installed I ran a Furmark stress test only to get a similar crash this time with a red screen (I was also in a discord server, after the crash discord still worked and I could still talk to people through it). At this point I figured that I had a dead graphics card on my hands and that I would have to buy another to play games anymore. With a stroke of blind luck I decided to move my 1050ti to the second PCIE slot on my motherboard (Asrock A B350m Pro 4). Windows booted in low resolution and 60hz, painful compared to my 144hz monitor. I got a notification in the action center that a video driver had failed to start, so I waited a bit and the driver eventually kicked in, which is odd for my system to do. I then ran Furmark and all seemed well, I still got the measly 42fps at 1080p that I normally would get. Ever since this event Rocket League has taken a severe performance hit, getting me around 60 to 80 fps in a multiplayer game, in comparison to the 150 that I could normally get. I don't know If the new Nvidia driver was bad for Rocket League, or if I have a dying video card, or just the one dead PCIE slot (I assumed it was a power issue on the slot as the card ran fine under no load in that slot). Another thing to note is that no other game has really seen a performance hit other than Rocket League. If anyone could put their mind forward and help me out then I would be extremely grateful, thanks!

So i was playing Rocket League with my PS4 controller on my laptop and then my controller suddenly disconnected. Bluetooth was tottaly gone on my laptop. I followed a few YouTube tutorials and it did't help. I also installed a few intel drivers and that also don't work. And then i thought i ask it here by the smart people. (Don't mind my English! I'am from the Netherlands)

I reset my PC after encountering some performance issues related to Overwatch. Everything seemed to go fine at first except when I tried to play Planetside 2, it simply wouldn't launch even after I deleted it and redownloaded it the same goes for Rocket League which I used to test it out. I discovered through some quick googling that it could be a DirectX problem. I looked on the RL support website and after clicking on the link to the download site I get an error that looks like this. I am at a loss and at this point, I just want to play Rocket League out of spite for my PC. I would appreciate any advice.

I've gotten into rocket league recently and was wondering if there were other games like it that you can just sit back and play, Just grab your controller, maybe put on some music or a podcast in the back, have a couple sodie pops. Preferably multiplayer so i don't rely on campaign.

I was going to buy Rocket League now with 40% off, until I saw that you can get 3 dlcs plus 4 new cars for $20 with the retail version. Problem is, my PC doesn't have a dvd drive, everything I use is digital download. So for those who own it already or those that know. Question: Does include a code you can download everything from Steam without using the disc at all? I've been looking everywhere for this, I found one video and it was pretty good but it's in german. I saw it does include a code for the 3 dlcs, but I wonder if that same code includes the main game as well.

so basicly i posted a topic on whether overwatch should be a competitive game.i met with some intresting talks such as discovering that korea just held the first overwatch tournament.in my honesty i think that overwatch is not a competitive game.but someone mentioned Rocket League so that got me thinking whether it could be a viable Esport.so i had a small loan of a million dollars to buy the game and i tried it out. btw im supreme in csgo and i take csgo very seriously so i think i can critize a little bit. so the barrier to become rly competitive in Rocket league does not seem to big.i mean granted that csgo and lol"s ones are very big.so i will skip server ticks as the game does not require such high reflexes.now im not to sure on whether Rocket League could be a competitive game.it usually depends on the devs to market it as a competitive game. so im gonna put a poll to see whether more competitive games should be made or should most games made today only be for casual play

Today I was playing Rocket League, and suddenly my screen froze. A few seconds later, my fans went crazy. It sounded like an airplane. I ended up having to force shut down (hold power button). Ctrl + Alt + Del wasn't working. Answer seems pretty obvious, right? Overheating. But according to NZXT CAM, my CPU has yet to go over 55C and my GPU 45C, so this can't be the problem. I DO have an overclock on my CPU (see sig), but I'm 99% sure it's completely stable. Any ideas?

Hello, since around summer I have been experiencing massive lagging issues within games. I noticed it first in CS:GO where my ping was around 40 but when walking down a hallway I would teleport back to the beginning. There were other issues, such as never being able to pull out grenades or weapons, where I would pull out my weapon but it would disappear and I would have my knife in my hand again. Now it is happening in Rocket League as well as other games. I keep rubber banding and teleporting round the map. I had 24-30 ping in the clip below but as you see, I keep moving everywhere, unable to move. I use powerline as I am in a loft conversion and the internet router is too far away for wireless. I never had this problem before with my powerline, and have been using it for over 2 years now. Any ideas or help as to get it back to normal please? Any more information you need, just ask. Thank you, Dominic

Hello Everyone, The games I run together are Dota 2 and Rocket League I like to play RL in between D2 games so I leave RL on in the background. When RL is on my fps from D2 goes from about 100 average to about 50 average. My setup: 4690k Stock Msi gaming 5 z97 8gb corsair vengence @ 1600 gtx 970 sli rog swift 144hz 1440p monitor along side a 1200p monitor. While gaming with both games on have about 70% cpu usage and 70% ram usage. I'm wondering if I am being limited by my hardware or if i'm getting fps drops because of poor steam game utilization.

Hey guys, today i come to you with my budget build guide, a box that i will use for the price of under 500 since i am under a really, really strict budget. So i've been playing TF2, quake live and battlefront 2 on my laptop, i'm kinda tired of not being able to run games that people gift me like fallout 4, rocket league and gang beats, so since i'mon a budget, and im not really playing any other games apart from CSGO (which doesn't even run on my laptop at low settings) quake, TF2, i've decided to make this baby, my question is , can i run games like fallout 4 at low settings at 1080p? maybe 900p at mid settings at 30+ fps? what about rocket league, considering im coming from playing on a laptop, i dont really care about graphics that much (i would love to play games at 1080p and above 30 fps) i just want to play them at a nice resolution and fps. Thanks in advance (i already have a wireless mouse and its served me well so i dont see a need to change it right now, maybe in the future and plus im coming from a laptop so i dont mind the cheap keyboard) PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RkQx4D Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RkQx4D/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor ($66.99 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($45.89 @ OutletPC) Storage: Hitachi Ultrastar 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($39.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card ($106.99 @ SuperBiiz) Case: Rosewill FBM-01 MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($27.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($38.98 @ Newegg) Monitor: Asus VS228T-P 60Hz 21.5" Monitor ($89.99 @ NCIX US) Keyboard: Logitech K120 Wired Standard Keyboard ($6.99 @ NCIX US) Total: $423.81

Hey everyone, first time posting. I've begun experiencing a somewhat unique problem - at least to me. I'm a big fan of Rocket League, but recently I have been playing when it will just give me a monocolored screen, like aqua or brown, and then restart my computer. I searched the forum for any possible information on this, and tried quickly Googling it, but both quickly stopped having any relevant information. I also recently started using Nvidia GeForce to try out Moonlight; I also figured, as long as I'd be trying the "GeForce Experience," I might as well try at least a couple of the features. I tried ending all of the Nvidia background tasks when it restarted, and then running Rocket League again and it seems to be working fine - 45 minute test. So, my question is, has anyone else experienced anything like this with either of these programs? Or am being mislead by my test? And why would it cause what seems like such a strange, graphical crash? I guess that's three questions. But I'd love to hear from anyone who has anything to input. Thanks! Help! I'm not sure if I should switch to PS4 or keep my Xbox One (and maybe get a PC). I want PS4 because: (1) PS4 has better graphics, (2) Rocket League, (3) It's COD and Destiny's preferred platform, (4) I have friends on PS4. I might keep Xbox One because (1) I already have games and Xbox Live on it, (2) Kerbal Space Program, (3) Cities: Skylines, and (4) because I have more friends on Xbox One. I've thought about just getting both, but I can't afford it. I only have $350, so a PC (with 6% tax) would probably be no competition for the PS4 (or the Xbox One, for that matter); also, the (all-in-one with an Intel Pentium G2030T) PC I already have can play a lot of the games I want to play, with the exception of Rocket League, Cities: Skylines, and Kerbal Space Program. Thanks for any help!

I have a Dell Inspiron One 2020 with an Intel Pentium G2030T with integrated graphics and 4 GB of RAM (the built-in display is around 900p). Will I be able to run Rocket League, Cities: Skylines, and SimCity? I can run Minecraft at around 20-40 FPS while on Mineplex, and I can run Sims 4 at around 60 FPS with V-Sync on the lowest graphics settings (I tried to run Sims 4 on ultra settings one time and got an incredible 7 FPS).

So today I bought Rocket League, i was able to play a few games online with no issues then I went out and bought a controller so I could improve my gameplay. After I installed the drivers and such I restarted my computer but it wouldn't turn back on. I unplugged all the cables and such and it eventually turned back on but once I started up Rocket League the game was completely unplayable out of the blue both offline and online. I decided to try a custom game on League to see if the problem was only pertaining to that particular game but the problem persisted. I played League early today with no problems at all but now all of a sudden this choppy framerate issue is happening. Vertical Sync and Anti Aliasing are both turned off but nothing helped. System Specs: Monitor:Samsung 21.5" inch S22D390 CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K Ram: 32gb Dual Channel DDR3 @ 666MHZ Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Xtreme 4 (CPU Socket) Graphics: S22D390 (1920x1080@60Hz) Intel HD Graphics 4000 (ASRock) 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 (EVGA) Thanks very for much your help! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Firstly, my version of the game is running as 32bit and with DX9. Is there a way to use DX11 or is this not recommended? I am also finding my GTX 970 utilisation not to go over 80% and usually sits at about 50% while playing. I have Vsync disabled and with all settings maxed out I'm getting about 65fps. Why is my gpu utilisation not 100 ? All my other games are running DX11.
